Zephyr was an old robot from the Ratchet and Clank series. He made his first appearance in Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction along with his partner, Cronk as well as Talwyn Apogee. The 3 of them lived within the Apogee Space Station until Ratchet and Clank arrived in search of the Lombax Secret. He and Cronk tried to defend the space station from the duo but they failed and the duo was able to reach them. Talwyn was about to eject the intruders until she realized that Ratchet was a lombax. From there, the 3 of them lowered their defenses and became allies for the duo. After finding out about what had happened to an artifact that was stolen from them years ago, they left the station and had been helping out the duo during there adventure.
Zephyr had often been addressed by the nickname Zeph by Cronk and Ratchet a couple of times.
Zephyr never made an appearance in A Crack in Time but his and Cronk's voices could be heard during the credits.
The 2 of them assisted Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Dr. Nefarious after all of them were transferred to Planet Magnus
He and Cronk made one more appearance in Into the Nexus having joined the Polaris Defense Force with Ratchet, Clank, Cronk and Talwyn. The guys were transporting Ventra Prog to Vartax Detention Center when her brother, Neftin attacked and boarded the ship with the help of Thugs-4-Less. They broke out Ventra and blew up the ship in an attempt to kill Ratchet, Clank, Cronk and Zephyr. Ratchet and Clank were able to escape, but Zephyr, along with Cronk, died during the blast. The duo spent the rest of the game avenging their deceased friends. He and Cronk showed up at the end of the game as ghosts near their display at the International Museum of History in Meridian City.
Cronk and Zephyr, although having known and fought together for many years, would often bicker with one another and get one each other's nerves too often, even in death, they would still have their funny banters. Zephyr is known to be senile and would very often blame Cronk for any issues that they end up in.
Ratchet and Kim Possible Chronicles[]
He made his first appearance in the story with Cronk and Talwyn in the same place that in the game as well as play the same roles. However, their roles after the fourth book was significantly different from the game. The duo continue to support ally themselves with Ratchet and his friends. They have aided in tackling all sorts of problems with the Polaris Galaxy. They have also shown to be very supportive towards Ratchet and Kim's relationships.
