"Bite My Shiny Metal Axe"
King Zøg Grunkwitz is a major character of Disenchantment. He is the unscrupulous father of Bean, Derek, and Jasper by different mothers. He was the previous dethroned ruler of Dreamland.
He was accidentally shot by Bean in the Electric Princess after Bean scuffling with Sir Pendergast to keep the "Dragon Whistle" (Revolver), the weapon that Skybert (Sky Gunderson) was supposed to deliver to help Arch-Druidess kill him.
After being plotted against after being accidentally shot, buried alive underground and seeing Pendergast's head, who was killed by Odval and Arch-Druidess, he went clinically insane, of which symptoms were honking noises, random screams, and the inability to take surprises. Eventually, he ends up being sent to Twinkletown Insane Asylum at the end of Season Three, with his escorter being Chazzzzz.
Anglesmith Origins[]
Chapter 1[]
King Zog learns of the infosphere and is aware of Bender's abilities to get it and his theivery skills. He does know that Kontas Becker has the map and his men are bringing it to them. He sends off Bean and her friends to find him and get him on the case as he wants to hire the robot to do the job
After Bean and the others couldn't find him, Zog meets up with the three and decides if they're going to steal the map he is going to steal it himself. The 4 of them arrive at Becker's Headquarters and sends the three in as he waits.
Zog sees Bean, Elfo and Luci return and watches Bender and the others escape. He states then it seems he was alive. Zog decides to go get the map from him.Bean, Elfo, Luci and King Zog observe the 6 of them and start chasing them themselves for the map, All the while avoiding Becker and his group.
Chapter 2[]
Bean, Elfo, Luci and King Zog are all traveling in the forest respectfully intend to find Bender and the other 5 for the mapZog and Bean discuss what they intend to use the infosphere for, to accomplish their own meaning with Zog wanting to resolve Dreamland's Economy without his treachrous council
Becker finds them and tries to kill Zog and the others as a way to let anyone mess with the cartel. They do escape knowing they are outnumbered by Becker and his criminal group. However, Zog, Bean, Elfo and Luci find Becker again and Bender as ongoing fight is in play for the map
They escape upon being outnumbered by Becker and Bender respectfully. Zog and Bean both consider getting the map from Becker after seeing him take it as they know the Cartel got the map back and going after Bender won't work.
Chapter 3[]
Bean, Elfo, Luci and King Zog followed Becker and his group to South Park, King Zog finds out about Becker's intents and experiences some culture Shock as he had no idea how to handle cars, and most of all electricity.
As Elfo and Luci are tasked to steal the map, Bean and Zog are both looking to do have some father and daughter time. So they get drunk and decide to talk about what Bean really wants with the Infosphere. Bean does want freedom and to control her destiny, but she also doesn't want to deal with the sexism she deals with from the Court and wants to know how to belong though Zog in a rare moment admits that Bean does make him proud, because she goes her own way.
Elfo and Luci get back to Bean and Zog with Stan and Wendy with the map respectfully. They go on back to Tegridy Farms. Upon Becker's men going for the attack, he and the others fight Becker's forces, he does it drunk and high as he decides to have some Tegridy as does Bean as they liked the alcohol in South Park so they might as well try the enquilvant of Bliss from Dreamland.
Bean, Elfo, Luci, Zog, Stan and Wendy decide they need to escape Colorado and get back on the hunt for it. Bean, Elfo, Luci, Zog, Stan and Wendy meet up with Onna at the dock as well as Mora
Chapter 4[]
King Zog catches up with Oona, about what has happened and explains the situation learning Bender was there too and wonders why they would help Bender when they're supposed to be on the side of the Court. While he does so, He checks up on his other kid as well to insure he's doing fine too. The Dreamland Court get off and are involved of a short cut by Oona to get to the Infosphere
Bean, Elfo, Luci, Zog, Stan and Wendy as they go thorugh their short cut see the six respectfully and later on Zog and the others find both groups and fight for the map, while they lose the map, they do get Luan though by accident. Despite this Zog intends to use Luan as leverage against Bender's group though Bean, Elfo and even Luci disagree with this.
Chapter 5[]
King Zog tries to attack Slade, Harry and Anti Cosmo after they all ambush them to get Luan back as he intends to use her to get the map back from Bender. Zog does note Oona's arrival as something is going down with Becker and he immediately dispatches one of Becker's goons to do that who was threatening Bean and he takes on Jack The Ripper as well.
After Bean tells Zog of the conditions of dealing with Becker so they won't have to contest with a crazy criminal and can just deal with people who like them have benign intentions with it. Zog agrees to this and they all take Becker's groupAfterwards the united group goes back to where they left Bender and Wile E. Wile E tells them he was trying to find a short cut and tries to talk them about Wendy's text but they're already in on this.
He regroups with Bender and they all head up to the summit intend on seeing who gets the answer first. Though he and Harry discuss how the latter will talk to his daughter too.
Chapter 6[]
The heroes find the infosphere at the top of the mountain and they find it's power is enough to do some downright destructive stuff respectively. Apart from Luan, Stan and Wendy, all the heroes compete to get to the Infosphere and who should be the one using it. Zog's reason is to save his kingdom from despair.
Becker arrives on spot with his men intend to take them all out at once
Zog gets his own ax out and helps his daughter, ex wife and her friends against La Sombra, Bunny, Claude and keeps the others safe from The Salamanca Twins. Despite his fearlessness, even he shows fear and uneasiness when Death enters the battlefield like nothing and traps Bender with the intent to take the robot once for all.
After that, Zog is beyond shocked that The Grim Reaper was targeting Bender this whole time and that Bender fought him to a draw.
Becker arrives with the intent to kill them all after recovering from Hero and Nacho's backstab. Becker uses Urobos to kill them and despite his insistence to use the Infosphere, he agrees to destroy it. After killing Becker, Zog decides that he may have a way after all and decides to make a proposition of an alliance with Slade and Bender. They agree as Bender had his own idea that would have him settle in Dreamland at times.
Epilogue[]
Bean, Elfo and King Zog are working with Luci to establish Bender's underground P.I Business respectfully and Zog has Bean silent concerns that Odival, Arch Drudiness and Sorcerio have on letting a robot operate here.
Double Life Emergence[]
He was attempting to help establish his economy with the rest of his family and council when he was unintentionally shot at by Cartel assassin Anton Chiegruth who Don Eladio sent to kill his advesaries. As he recovered from his bullet wound he had Bean go to help the others deal with whatever is going on the China Town Equivalent.
Act 1[]
Episode 2[]
Zog is seen by Bean and Slade's associates who investigate the attemped assassination on his daughter and the bullet stuck in him. Anti Cosmo and Harry are able to get it out of him though with some help by doing surgery.
Act 2[]
Zog is seen helping in front of Bean and Morgana who Bean gets to assist in helping bringing back the finances of the latter. Zog agrees and has her and Bean go to do this. He also helps Bender, Mop Girl and Wile E assess the meeting room so they can discover what is going and helps save them from Anton and Gaff who try to kill them and the Royal Court.
Act 4[]
Zog brings his reinforcements of Dreamland to help Bean and her friends in the ongoing fight against Midas and the Cartel. Afterwards, he gets a letter for Bean so she can be honored by the people in charge who want to thank Bean and her friends for saving them from the Cartel's grasp.

He and Bean helped Team Free Will defend the kingdom in M.A.L.I.C.E
Chang's Guide To The Galaxy[]
Luan and Bean's friends keep Dreamland safe from Dagmar as the latter gets her friends to help out with this. It turns out he went insane according to Luan or was driven to madness before Dagmar got involved with Belos hence why he couldn't help Bean, Luan or the others against Emperor Belos.
War of The Streams[]
Zog assist Bean and her friends as well as Slade's Empire deal with Frank Underwood and his cartel allies, though they find out that they were lured out so Underwood count make a move on Dreamland. The Grunkwitzs counter this apporach and through their treks they fight and take down Underwood and get rid of Underwood's allies and backup plans. As a result he abdicates the throne like Bean.
