It needs to combine dishes after dishes, steps after steps. This is why we have our desire to devour! I know exactly who you are, Red Haired Demon. I thought I had cleansed the main courses in this planet, but my work was incomplete. Tell your companions this: When I am finished here, you are next. Phyllis Peach and Michael Langdon, the War of Anti-Christ's trigger and the operator, respectively

The War of the Anti-Christ (also referred by Phyllis Peach as the Never-ending Feast) is a part of the Period of Tribulations after being altered by Moloch and his minions. It is the main events of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow - Anti-Christ Saga and begins by the end of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow - Harvest Saga. It's also the final battle in the first half of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow, where Michael took over the role of main antagonist as the fifth tribulation.

The War of Anti-Christ serves as the Team Witness' final battle against Michael Langdon, inside a twisted timeline because of Merged Phyllis Peach, who broke through dimensional walls and caused wormholes. It's also the major twist in the storyline where characters - main characters included - truly start to die like flies (in a manner like LOTM: Sword of Kings AA Final - Eckidina Arc). To date, as result of this war, Anti-Christ Saga holds the largest body count in the entire LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow storyline.

Overview

Phase 1 (Prologue) - Phyllis Peach

While spreading the Croatoan Pandemic via her abilities, Phyllis attempted to summon both Team Witness members and the Ratatoskr from two timelines into Planet Sorensen-444, where she'll eat them all and fulfill the contract between her and Moloch, also paving ways for the endgame of Michael Langdon and his forces. Phyllis had already calculated the plans and decide to let Michael to take over the war's operation once she destroyed the Order of Flourish once and for all, although she wasn't expected that she would be defeated by Selina in the end.

Phase 2 (Major) - Michael Langdon

Michael and Plaisir as Nether Hosts

After Phyllis was killed thanks to Selina Strawberry's sacrifice and Calvin Cranberry's efforts, the Croatoan Pandemic was stopped. The chaos seemly paused a bit, but in fact, it still existed. Michael immediately exploited the chaos in timeline and gathered the Team Witness, the Rogues, the Hexenmeister Community, La Nueva Familia de Arzonia and the Order of Flourish, in an attempt to kill them all and establish the United Kingdom of America's reign of terror. Michael planned to take them down first before he moved on to eliminate Sith Empire and assassinate Darth Hades, the only Balam Alliance Emperor that he hadn't heard of during World War III.

Working together, Katarina Couteau and Ichabod Crane went on to stop him and fought against him in many worlds including an alternate Rome on Planet Sorensen-444. They managed to fight against a reformed Fallen Roman Catholic Church before the main assistant of Michael, Nether Sorensen the Demon Prince, revealed himself as Michael's Nether and claimed he would help Moloch and Michael to take over the Multi-Universe and destroy everything.

In the meantime, Michael planned to use Twelve Nethers (in spite of only Sorensen being willing to join Michael's cause) and the Dark Curse as his tools to cause mayhem and destruction throughout the Multi-Universe. To achieve that, Michael used the heart of his former lover, Plaisir Permafrost, after the latter managed banished her evil twin, Mercedes the Merciless, back into the Hell. After that, Plaisir purified and fused Melancholia under her own control, using it as an advantage to get stronger.

Vanifer bid the Team Witness farewell before accepting her demise with honor

Meanwhile, not every villains followed Michael's plans even though they appeared as enemies to the Witnesses, apart from most of the Nethers, and some even redeemed themselves for their code of honor. A case in point, Vanifer remained antagonizing towards humanity and Team Witness since she had her own ambition as well, not willing to listen to Michael's order and showed indifference in his goals. In spite of this, she later showed no fear towards Michael and turned resentful towards his methods of twisting the timeline, making her a neutral ground leader from the UKA that is not affiliated to Michael, and she was later took down by the Team Witness.

Although, after the final battle between her and the Team Witness, Vanifer died in an honorable sacrifice to protect Team Witness from the Black Fairy, technically redeeming herself and announcing the end of her Empire of Fiery Pit once and for all. Nether Kaysie the Demon Princess was also disgusted by Moloch's uncaring nature, so she helped Plaisir and Kristen Kiwifruit to take down Evil Christine, announcing Evil Christine's final death and avenging Colin Van Bilj. Then, with the tools of Elemental Prophets, Ichabod and Abbie managed to open the portal towards the Dark Realm, where the Dark Ones gathered to cause the next devastating Dark Curse with Plaisir's heart.

Phase 3 (Final) - Dark Curse

With a loss of her left arm, Plaisir stopped Michael

Via using Plaisir's heart under Sorensen's encouragement, Michael had summoned the Dark Curse and managed to eliminate the predominant members of the Hexenmeister Community, including Emma Swan, who died with Gideon Gold, Michael's puppet and the one who would destined to kill Emma for good, though Emma's sacrifice ended the Dark Curse before it could corrupt the town of Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest. However, thankfully, Plaisir managed to survive after using the stolen crystal of Nether Noirton as her new heart, before pretending to be Michael's assistant in order to thwart his plans.

Hiding inside Michael's faction as a spy, Plaisir used her Nether ability to help Ichabod and Abbie to split Sorensen from Michael, so that Ichabod would give Michael his final blow. However, during their final struggling, Plaisir lost her left arm while Jeremy Crane, Nick Hawley and Abbie Mills died one after another, leaving Ichabod, Katrina and Jenny utterly devastated. After being separated from Michael's body, Sorensen abandoned Michael. Then, Michael accepted his fate and peacefully died when he was killed by Ichabod with the Sword of Methuselah. Before his demise, Michael comforted a crying Plaisir before peacefully accepting his demise, instead of screaming like a coward or questioning himself why he had lost.

Soon afterwards, Michael was condemned into Hell with many of his dead minions, including Atticus Nevins, the Black Fairy, Mercedes the Merciless and Evil Christine. Some came back to life, like Carl Robinson, who was killed, but was soon transformed into an Elemental Warrior after being revived by Earth Armateus, with a greater purpose that he was yet to know. However, a few of Michael's allies, including Sorensen and Guinevere Arzonia, escaped their punishment when Moloch cast his enemies out of Planet Sorensen before they could ever reach King Washington's Palace.

The battle ended with the overwhelming victory of the Witnesses and their allies, but the loss was also overwhelming and almost irreversible. The corrupted timeline was mostly restored by the Reality Council, but most of the causalities shall remain dead forever and ever. The trauma will scar many characters and influenced their personality. Even though having her arm regenerated, Plaisir also defeated her inner darkness and fused with Melancholia without losing her free will, but she had to leave Ichabod forever and stay beside Katarina in order to stop a time paradox. What was worse, Ichabod Crane also died after killing Michael with the Sword of Methuselah, which would later taken by the returned Jasmine Porcelain.

Therefore, in spite of the bittersweet outcome as well as Michael's demise, Team Witness cost so much that it took Selina a year to recover and find Ichabod's soul and Abbie's successor, in order to bring both of them back. The Rogue retained the memory of Michael's demise and Abbie's memories. Meanwhile, Plaisir is the only one who was mourning Michael's death, though she had no wish to avenge him.

Trivia

• In LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow, the War of the Anti-Christ is the war event with most of the casualties ever in the storyline. 95% of the characters introduced in previous story would stay dead after the battle.
• This battle happens before LOTM: Sword of Kings Sith Saga - Hades Saga, but it doesn't shows much of affects on LOTM: Sword of Kings, except Plaisir left Ichabod and joined Katarina to avoid a time paradox due to the defeat of Melancholia in the past.
