Virgil (Pokemon)

Virgil (Japanese: バージル Virgil) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. He is a Pokémon Trainer and a friendly rival of Ash. He is also a rescue worker, a job which he carries out together with his father Jeff and his older brother Davy. He made his debut appearance in Team Eevee and the Pokémon Rescue Squad!.

Few years after becoming the champion in Unova Region, Virigil became one of the targets of Dark Lord Empire Federational Apocalypse-United Villains led by Kamen Rider Eternal. He tried to attack Hawkmoth and the rest of the terrorists. He is shocked that the 9 members of Eeevee family got slain by Hawkmoth and his pawns. Virgil finally met his end when Hawkmoth snapped off his neck. In the next morning, the ZECTroopers have located and investigated the dead bodies of Virgil and the rest of the Eevee Team. So, he and the Eevee family are going to be buried.
