Vinny is an Italian dog from the Family Guy Universe. He was the replacement dog for the Griffin family when Brian was killed, but because Stewie wanted Brian back Vinny sacrificed his history with them to save Brian

Vinny was back in the pet store, feeling lonely as he had just lost his previous owner around the same time Stewie lost Brian. He was happily adopted by Lizbeth and Boomer who both felt they needed a dog, with Boomer wanting to invoke a boy and his dog cliche and Lizbeth wanting to take some responsibility and not caring the slightest about how messy dogs can be.

Vinny debuts here and joins forces with Boomer and Lizbeth's friends and works closely with Maka and Mako Mori in particular
