Van Pelt is the main antagonist in Jumanji. A hunter who resides within the cursed board game, he wears a hunter's uniform with a pith helmet.

Van Pelt and Dr. Regal are planning to kill Black Star, Van Pelt actually remembers the boy and his two ninjas partners since in The Wrath of God of War Rises. Black Star and his allies fights and defeats Van Pelt, who escapes.
Van Pelt is guarding the place where the girl sleeps. The Star Alliance defeats him and saves the little girl.
