I have started another story. A while back, I really got into this game and well......don't get me wrong, I really do like the game, but....things got complicated.
As I have mentioned on my wiki page, I have developed something that I call Showitious, which is an ongoing and usual, long term obsession with characters to which never stops. I would be preoccupied constantly by the images and playback of the character in my head over and over again, that as well as hearing their voice the same way. The more vivid the images and voices, the more dramatic the distraction. It would very often interfere with my focus and sometimes it would be like I was phasing in and out of reality, almost like I can't stay in touch with reality. I would stay home most of the time because of this. I hated school because of this since my schoolwork required me to remain focused. Thankfully, I wasn't affected badly, much to my surprise, but it wasn't easy. I had to forbid myself from looking at these characters, Itiouses, as I called them, before I had to leave for school, even the night before because it was that severe.
At the moment, I'm experiencing Showitious with that one character that has been my most recent focus. Thankfully, it's not too bad, but it has been worse before. Well, my Showitious causes me to come up with ideas for my stories, such as unexpected pair ups with certain characters being paired up with these Itiouses (minus the shippings) as a way of making them more subtle and easier to live with. I have at least one other character paired up with another that was probably the least likely pair up but I have a talent for understanding characters to a point where they don't overpower each other's characteristics and environment, such as my itious character is a male character with male, action-type stuff while the other is from a very girlish world and I never had the 2 worlds mingle in fear of....well, let's just say I hated girlish stuff for years because of this. But I did figure out a way to make it work very beautifully and the story itself, to my opinion, is put together really well. It's complex but blends well and the characters have had a really good relationship in which neither of them changed too drastically.
Now, I'm doing that again. I'm not going to mention what I've been doing but I think you could figure out from a few of my recent edits involving what game I've gotten into. If it's OK with everyone, I would like to set up a category so that I can bring to light the different characters that I have been obsessed with. I would like to reflect how much I have gone through and what I have been doing.
