Legends of the Multi Universe Wiki

Finally we have Part 2 and this was a long writing project to commit to

Part 2[]

One of the parts that really stand out about this storyline is the ensemble nature of characters. As they are many major characters in this storyline as well as main characters as well. One thing that is apparent that sometimes a major character can have a chance at being a main character at least once and get some time to shine in the plotline.

Unlike the previous Phase, there is a clear cut main villain this time motivating the plot and acting as an instigator of the main storyline. This was one central problem looking back at Phase 3 with me and my pals using multiple villains without any connection to a central villain. Phase 1 and 2 had central foes which served as a matter to pay attention with, in particular when Knuckles5 joined my storyline when I started Phase 2 and decided to have Discord be front and center despite only appearing 3 times being the main instigator.

Phase 4, Goes the way of having 2 plots and gives a primary villain and a secondary villain group to go with the other plot. It certainly helps that the secondary villain group isn’t a group that isn’t defeated on their first appearance and takes the overall story line to defeat until the penultimate and final storyline where the primary villain finally takes action.

While plenty of heroes take more focus than others do, Each of them mostly get a chance to be in the central character cast. This applies mostly to the teams introduced as well who get least one chance to shine in particular, though some are more important than others and some characters do it without their teams.

Spoilers Ahead, You have been warned[]

Main Characters[]

Of course there are some characters who rise above the rest to act as the lead characters of the storyline overall. There are 11 of them, since I felt you can’t go without discussing the main villain of a overall storyline even if he doesn’t appear in half of the storylines.

8 of the 11 Characters are returning characters and 3 make their introduction to this storyline. I decided to list which Team they are part of and how many times they appeared here to give some idea. Also I mention tidbits about each of the characters while I am it.

Main Characters returning from the previous storylines[]

Lydia Lopez[]

Storyline Appearances: 13/18

Team: Team Free Will/ The Streaming Resistance

Debut Story: LOTM: Next Gen Island Tour (2014)

.Though Lydia serves as one of the two Co-Protagonists, she is pretty much the central character of the entire storyline in part to how much focus she constantly gets and how a lot of the character relationships have her in the fore front. This wasn’t something new, as she was already the main POV Character of the TGTTA 2 and one of the 3 central leads of the storyline and I will mention why she went up to become the head character and serving as one of the two main protagonists

The Character dealing with a good deal of arks in particular and more than anyone is the character who deals with the aspects of

-the multiversal adventuring and the fatique that comes with the lifestyle that wasn’t touched upon previously and the identify of herself as a hero. This comes into focus when it comes to being the apprentice of Ford Pines, her use of the Infinity Stones and how she developed her approach she took at the end of the series

-the double live a hero lives as well, and this is a big part of Lydia’s character as while she is part of Team Free Will, most of the team don’t know of what she deals with without them knowing as she sneaks off on occassion, The true relationship she hides from her friends and her own separate involvement with the team The Streaming Resistance which is kept from the others.

- the deconstruction of the kid hero trope, as Lydia is placed against some truly vile foes who won’t spare her as a result of her being a kid and in case of N.Tropy actively goes out of his way to cause her harm and turmoil. As a result she faces serious trauma and pain dealing with this and she has to try harder against her enemies as a result. Also for how smart she is, she is still a kid who doesn’t understand the world the way some of the older characters do and her to be more cynical later on as a result of her taking a devasating loss in Team Free Will Disassembled in her own life due to it. As she wasn’t ready to deal with this, even after her experiences before Team Free Will as a hero didn’t have this kind of stakes or intense situations.

- Her many Relationships also have a good deal amount of focus. As well, while some rise beyond the others she does have some noticeable, good and complicated relationships with the people in her life.

The Reasons she became the storyline’s Main POV Character

One aspect is that people who knew me since the start knew that it was Dib, Bender (More on him later) and Lizbeth who served as the main POV Characters of the series until now. Phase 4 changed focus to Lydia and Team Free Will and one would wonder why she took over the focus from Dib and Lizbeth who both lost a good amount of focus after I came for the time.

1. I wanted to focus on a different team and cast as part of the primary plot and change the cast to an extent. Some of this came from Blackpool’s concept that Knuckles5 had as well as Bridal Shotcon had. I guess they served as inspiration. I liked Team Free Will enought to give them more focus and wanted to choose a character on part

2. To do a better attempt at a better character/heroine than Lizbeth, as I felt I did have some faults when writing the character for making her too good and competent. So I had to make someone fit the role better and despite both her and Dib being kids, they were pretty straight examples of the kid hero, where a deconstruction and eventual reconstruction could work. Also I wanted to focus on a character not to well known like Lizbeth and show what makes Lydia different from Lizbeth in character and other attributes as I phased out Lizbeth after LOTM: Next Gen Island Tour to have other people do

3. Character potential with her and some of the other characters introduced in TGTTA 2

. Her most important Relationships

Of course one of her most important attributes is her relationships, so I decided to focus on the ones that really stood out for the character

Lincoln Loud

Unquestionably her most important relationship as her partner, best friend and love interest for the storyline and as I will mention soon, the heart of Phase 4. I had the intent to make them just friends, but I realize they work well really together as a couple as well and developed their relationship over the series. I edited a page about their relationship and how Lydia and Lincoln both help each other actively in where they need it. This came for a few reasons I will get too with Lincoln, I could say more though the pages will say more

Ford Pines

Lydia’s other really important relationship with a member of Team Free Will. He serves as the mentor and father figure to her when it comes to the multiverse adventuring and mystery lifestyle. Lydia and Ford both want the best for the other, where Ford wants to share his knowledge with her and Lydia wants him to be proud of her and be out of his shadow.

Part of Lydia’s involvement in things behind his back is to show him she can fully can too and her double life is to further prove this to him. Ford unlike Lincoln, does take a backseat for reasons I will get to with him. I do give this some bridges to mend when the truth comes out and how Ford discovered somethings about her before he died.

Truman X

Her closest friend her age other than Lincoln is Truman and she openly trusts Truman in a way she doesn’t the rest of Team Free Will apart from Lincoln and later Dawn when it comes to what she does. She also trusts him with her relationship with Lincoln and where she is hiding out with him when it came to Team Free Will: Dissembled. The two are just friends due to Lydia’s single targeted interest in Lincoln and he fits well into Lydia’s geek friend circle.

Hilda

Her most complicated relationship in her team is with Hilda in part to their differing approaches to life, backgrounds and mutual interest in Lincoln. Despite this, Hilda becomes eventually one of Lydia’s closest friends and like Lincoln, Lydia can read Hilda well and has a good relationship with her family aside from Hilda’s dad who serves as part of some the cynicism she has. Like Lincoln, Hilda helps Lydia realize what she wants ultimately and how she was before going through Phase 4 and how Lydia plays a important role in Hilda’s life due to the latter reevaulting what she wants.

The Rest of Team Free Will

She gets on very well with the rest of the team and while no one has the relationships, the first 4 have with her, She stills care a great deal for them all with Dawn, Pippi Longstocking, Frida, Luz, Anne, Ronnie Anne and Sid being her closet friends of them all.

Jaune Arc and Johanna

Due to her connection with Hilda, she also gets her own close bond with Hilda’s mom and Jaune Arc and comes to be an important part of their lives as well as her own as Lydia helps the two get married and They help her deal with her own situation when it came to her family. This really came to a head in Streamverse.

Fox Mulder and Dana Scully

Mulder and Scully adopted her after Countdown as a result of what happened with her parents and took the role of raising her. While they’re workalcholics which does have Lydia often go on her own with Lincoln and The Streaming Resistance, they do love her greatly seeing her as the kid that Scully couldn’t have. Unlike Ford, The two caught on faster to her double life then him and are able to catch when she is sneaking off. She is closer to Fox than Dana due to her own nature and being closer to her dad then her mom.

The Streaming Resistance

This team is who Lydia also works with and as it becomes known in Double Life Emeregence, She has worked with them since the start with Phase 4 alongside Lincoln due to a situation they unwittingly walked into. Her closest friends in the team are Toby, Peacemaker, Wednesday, Eleven, Will Robinson, Amy Santiago, Jake Peralita and Erica Wang. Like Her relationships with Lincoln and Hilda, they played a big part in her character arc.

Bender

Unlike most main characters, she and Bender don’t interact much, due to Bender having the secondary plot of the storyline. However they do interact more in the latter half when they get on the same plot and fight off Emperor Belos and Vecna. He also helps her and the others deal with Freakshow and tags along with her, like Mulder and Scully, Bender is more than able to cipher when she sneaks around and won a bet with Ford when doing so commenting “how she is a tough person to get into contact” when he does. The two work directly together to get to the bottom of the Team Free Will Massacre, when Lydia and Lincoln hire him to help them with this and they help him with Vought. Later they defeat N.Tropy and his plan and like Lincoln, She is comfortable to tell him about where she is going to go going foward.

Dr. N Tropy

He serves as her archenemy, after some runs with other villains who have the role before him. Unlike most archenemies, She is unaware of his presence until the finale but he knows her and goes out of his way to wreck her as we learn out of petty revenge for his cybernetics. N.Tropy caused the vast amount of her setbacks due to this and he has planned a cold blooded revenge against her in turn as he causes The Team Free Will Massacre against her. N.Tropy goes out of his way at the end and extends this vendetta to Lincoln, Bender, Anti Cosmo and The Streaming Resistance who are actively helping Lydia to figure him as he frames Bender and Anti Cosmo, kills Lincoln’s grandparents, Lydia’s parents and Ford to get back to her.

Lydia does kill him and his alternate counterpart with Lincoln out of self defense as letting him live will just allow him to keep this up. His actions haunt her and despite having bested N.Tropy, it does leave her with some losses, though she decides to stay a heroine on her own time due to it.

.One Half of the soul/heart of Phase 4

Phase 4 is both darkier and lighter than the previous Phase and when it falls into the fomer category it goes BIG in that territory. However Like I mentioned Lydia is one half of the heart and soul of the storyline as her relationship with the story’s other main character Lincoln makes up the vast amount of the heartwarming moments and shows that even in dark and cynical times, there are good people and optistimism there too.

It was a big reason I made both Lincoln and Lydia the main characters overall, to keep the storyline from going too dark despite everything they deal with especially to how dark the prequel duology got.

The Liberties I took with the character

I decided to include attributes to her character that I saw in the show and mentioned them while increasing her unconventionalness, straight man and tomboy traits to make her fit in the team and to contrast Lizbeth and Dib’s Characters while doing this and comparing to Bender’s own character.

Also though I decided to include some attributes I thought applied to her in having green eyes, her favorite color being yellow, lacking interest in girl stuff, and showing her real dorkish side. I decided to also have her be 11 years old as Lincoln was also 11 years old in the show, and have her a bit older than him. This was more fitting than I realized and I decided like Lincoln to avert comic book time for a bit by having her having her 12th birthday in En.Tropized.

I also decided to make her one of the few characters who won’t be killed off in Phase 4 along Lincoln, Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Anti Cosmo, Luan and Bender. Also the plan was to keep her alive even afterwards I finished so it doesn’t overwrite the happy ending I placed in the future for her in Chronicles of Zaragoza and Streamverse

. Where was she at the start of the story line compared to the end of the storyline

She noticeably when through some change from The Start to the end. In the first half she was more of a eager adventurer like Hilda who meant well but found herself in trouble that she didn’t expected. But she also show her traditional support and compassion to her partner and was more open to Team Free Will and her family about what she did with The Team. She also thought was more reliant on her Infinity Gauntlets and using her wit than using what she could bring to the table and lacked some experience having being on 2 quests before that point and only in 1 storyline she had a main role.

Lydia411

Later on, we still see that confidental and compassionate personality she has, but she is more cautious and more open to have a more balanced life where she have a normal life but also step up to the plate when needed. Lydia became more closed off to Team Free Will and played into her double life apart from Lincoln, Dawn, Truman X as they were the only ones in the true depth of what she and Linc go into, though she got into a serious relationship with Lincoln which grew over time and developed a closer friendship with The Streaming Resistance mainly Toby and Will as the former was the liason between her, Lincoln and them. She was also more confident in what she could do and relied on her gauntlets less, while showing a bit more understandable cynicism towards the world and trusting some people as shown with Hilda’s dad Anders and trying to stop Hilda from engaging in this lifestyle, due to her own experiences.

. Her Most Important Story lines

Having appeared the most, she has a lot of important storylines but some of them stand out more than others.

To Live and/or Die In Loch Loud: This storyline focused big on her own reliance on her own tools and how her relationship with Lincoln began to take the steps where it was real love between them and why they are best friends.

Countdown To Chang’s Guide To The Galaxy: This storyline resolved the will they, won’t they dynamic, but also showed the opposite side of the It Gets Easier speech she gave Lincoln. It also is where her more level headed approach to adventuring is shaped and lastly. This storyline shows what her lifestyle’s consequences are with what happened to her parents and the adoption she has with Mulder and Scully.

Streamverse: This one shows her meeting The Streaming Resistance who have been a big part of her double life aspect. It also shows her discovering the truly deep rabbit hole that N.Tropy has been up to. It also is where her more cautious personality is on full display with Hilda and Anders when it comes to her adventuring and her desire to shape her future and family become obvious. Also she takes her first step to make her relationship with Lincoln more public.

Double Life Emerged: In this prequel, it establishes her and Lincoln’s treks in Cartel territory and meeting the Streaming Resistance. It also shows what she was doing after TGTTA 2 and the start of her double life tendencies as well as establishing the connection even further

En.Tropized: This is where everything bares fruit, her double life comes to a head, she finds her who has been tormenting her, her fall and rise as a result of personal loss and where she is going into the future. She shares the plots with Lincoln, The Streaming Resistance, Bender and Anti Cosmo. Book 1 follows her coming to her own realizations of where she wants to go in her future which was hinted at in an earlier storyline and meeting Victoria Neuman connecting Lincoln and her to the Vought Plot that Bender, Anti Cosmo and Slade are part in This is when Ford and the others become aware of her double life with Lincoln. Book 2 see her celebrate her birthday and Lincoln's where she finally meets N.Tropy and has to be watch Ford be killed and become an orphan due to N.Tropy's actions while helping stopping his plans and aiding the Tarron Family with Lincoln, Ford, Bender, Luan, Wile E Coyote, Anti Cosmo, Toby and AAAARRRUGGHH. Book 3 has her and Lincoln struggle with having to take charge of Team Free Will and the demises of their parents and grandparents while working with Jaune Arc, Johanna, Victoria Neuman and The Streaming Resistance while deciding how to approach N.Tropy and learning what Lydia's parents and Lincoln's grandparents final words and eulogies for them. Book 4 sees them go up against N.Tropy and decide to take the punch clock hero approach to heroism while setting them for their own lives together which they share with Bender and Anti Cosmo who had their own journey for En.Tropized

What will become of the character after En.Tropized

A year older, means a year wise and she will balance her life with normalness and heroism. She continues her relationship with Lincoln and eventually gets married to him after pulling a chinese finger trap propsal on him as shown in Chronicles and Streamverse in her early 20s and works as a secret agent to accomplish what she wanted to do. She maintains her spot in The Streaming Resistance and continues to hang with them and help them under Victoria Neuman as Lydia is co-leader of Team Free Will after Ford’s death. On top of that, she still has the condo that was given to Wednesday and the Robinsons, and lives there on occasion despite being a kid with Lincoln.

Lincoln Loud[]

Storyline Appearances: 13/18

Team: Team Free Will/ The Streaming Resistance

Debut: TGTTA 2 (2017)

Lincoln is The Other Co-Main Protagonist of Phase 4, though he is arguably the second most important character behind Lydia conisdering how much focus she has, but he is just as important and relevant to the storyline and his costar.

The Loud House’s Characters were only used in TGTTA before hand, But Phase 4 saw a noticeable rise in the use of the characters from the franchise and stables of the show. This came because I really got into the Loud House when I was writting TGTTA 2 and Lincoln was one of my favourite characters so he got a lot of attention. There are some elements though that don’t make sense when it comes to the show but I’ll get to them later.

. How He Contributes to the story line and his own deconstruction of his character

He contributes to Phase 4 as a newcomer to the whole multiverse thing which is something most of the important returning characters don’t have or are being paired with people who are experienced. Lincoln provides a sane voice of reason like his co-main protagonist when it comes to the lack of sense of the mutliverse and someone to be taught about how it all works. Conisdering the Loud House is not a franchise to be in such stakes in the multiverse, it’s no surprise that Lincoln won’t feel like he belongs in Team Free Will as it’s revealed in Double Life Emergence despite his own heroics.

Lincoln feels overshadowed early on by not just his sisters, but also his teammates like in the Movie and that not much of the cast knows how to help him in this regard and to tell him what he brings ultimately to the table aside from Lydia who treats him as an equal and believes otherwise, as well Streaming Resistance Members Toby Domalzki and Pyrrha Nikos who see what Lincoln can really bring to the table when it comes to the multiverse. He got involved in the adventures to get away from his every day challenges and desiring something not so mundane hence why he got involved in TGTTA 2.

Birds of a feather hits him, as just like his co-star, he goes through multiple misfortunes that he never dealt with in Phase 4 and makes him more unwilling as opposed to cautious to deal with multiversal threats. He does come around though all the time, Though his kid hero status, keeps him from returning to his life being seen as normal, something the show in later seasons was accused of, as well as him deciding to distance himself from his family due to what he gets to , as He doesn’t want them hurt or to suffer what happened to them again after Team Free Will: Dissembled

Him Being a nerd with his interests contributed well to his character here as he has interest in comic books, ghost busting, secret agents, video games, detectives and magic and at some point he explores each of these attributes or it comes majorly in hand. This makes even more sense when he often is involved with other nerdy, geeky characters like himself and him embraceing this as well using it helps get out of his funks.

Lydia was one half of the heart/soul of Phase 4, and he is the other half. Like I said their relationship is where the majority of touching points go. For all of the troubles he has, and things that happen to him, Lydia is always by his side and works her butt off to help him when needed, something to living emotional crutch levels. This is because She always sees the best of him and helps his confidence, which helps him be better. He also returns the favour to her a lot too as Lincoln desired adventure and Lydia eventually desired normalcy and being around the other helped. Basically their whole shitck of being best friends and love interests served as positive influences to one another.

Why aren’t his sisters involved in the majority of the story line, is something that has to be addressed. While Luan is highly involved in Phase 4 too, she is more with the subplot and is a main character here. I guess I did because I felt Lincoln was the best suited to be part of the storyline unlike his sisters aside from Luan and sometimes other siblings. It would make the storyline and cast too hard to juggle at many points. Though his relationship with them and his family is brought up a lot and serves as a plot point at many times.

His relationship with Clyde is also downplayed in favour of his relationship with Lydia, though Clyde is still his best friend as well, and the two are Lincoln’s healthiest and closest relationships. Ronnie Anne is downplayed too due to the move to Great Lakes City and The show, I still potray them close though as friends, due to the relationship between Lori and Bobby.

Like ususal, Lincoln is on some instances differently written compared to canon

1. Lincoln is morally and conisstent good comapred to canon (Conisdering he’s Near Pure Good here, and Inconsistency Admirable in Canon)

2. He dealt with Fifi before he turned 12 as opposed to be 12 in The No Time to Spy Movie

Lincoln411

3. Lincoln is more of a girl magnet here despite already being one in canon. Though he is in the middle of Hilda and Lydia around the beginning and middle of the storyline before setting down with the latter

4. He is less weak and more willing to fight later on in the storyline

5. Lincoln is haunted by the some of the more controversial episodes of the show

. His Involvement with Hilda and her cast of characters

Part of Hilda’s inclusion was due to Lincoln’s interactions with her and her cast as well as Jaune Arc. Kalobburnett2000 had a role in this and he wanted Hilda to be his love interest. I decided on having her be a secondary love interest who contrasts his own tension with Lydia and having work as initally a good choice before realizing Lydia is his true love. The Idea was to have Lincoln have feelings for both, but have neither girl aware of the other’s feelings or Lincoln liking them, and progress to the awartiy and eventual blow out. Hilda does care and love him, though has her blind spots with him and eventually settles for being friends after realizing how dangerous her envy got. Hilda getting over this made her bond with him stronger.

Lincoln is also close to Jaune and Johanna and cares about them, though he as is Lydia is not comfortable with how lovey dovey they get. Though he does support them and help them get married with Lydia, Hilda, Mulder and Scully’s help.

. His Character Development

His own Character development results in his confidence, abilities and leadership becoming apparent as his potential is unlocked through his time with Team Free Will and The Streaming Resistance. Though he does become more willing to live in a double live like Lydia, though this comes from his love of David Steele who is a parody of James Bond as well as the family situation. Lincoln also goes through a Be Careful what you wish for storyline and learning to accept the truth about the circle of life.

. What will Lincoln be involved afterwards in En.Tropized/ His Future

He balances his own life with herosim and normal living style and leads Team Free Will with Lydia under Victoria Neuman.

Lincoln also maintains his relationships with the others as well and decides to get into detective work when he grows up and marries his girlfriend of a decade eventually and though he is not so much in contact with his friends when he was a kid , he still is in contact with some of his friends.

Bender Rogrieuz[]

Storyline Appearances: 11/18

Team: The B Team/M.O.D.AB

Debut Story: The Beginning (2010)

Yeah it’s time to we get to the obvious character involved who tells people to bite his shiny metal ass. Bender does appear in a major role in Phase 4, and aside from Lydia and Lincoln, Bender is the most promient character and duteragonist and one of the 3 main characters to stay a central figure of the storyline since Phase 3 alongside Slade and Anti Cosmo.

As he is not the front and center character of Phase 4, unlike the other arcs, he gets his own subplot that shows what he is up to and how he goes at this new era of the multiverse. His story is a contrast to Lincoln and Lydia’s plot in many ways, from his main enemy to his more consistent cast working with him, as opposed to them not being aware of N.Tropy, Bender is aware of his many foes in the multiverse Cartel who plague him and his friends through the storyline. In Phase 4, in part to some events in Phase 3, he had decided to take up work as a multiversal investigator like a P.I to use his vast knowledge and experience in the multiverse to it’s advantage. At the same time he aids President Deathstroke and Slade in their endeavors as a jack of all trades and contractor respectfully.

I have got some reasonable critcism about making him too capable or breaking the plot in later storylines. So I decided to use Phase 4, to have him more fallible and more challenged by what he is up against and focused on him being a tactician short term planner with his partners being more masterminds. That being said, Phase 4 does make Bender more admirable than previous Phases despite still having corruptible qualities, as he shows more virtue and more open care for his friends, doing more questionable actions for better reasons and salvaging some of his more controversial actions.

While Bender is the duteragonist behind Lydia and Lincoln, he is still front and center in the prequel duo logy which serves as the shift point to Team Free Will taking primary focus and how Bender and his friends gotten into their battles with the multiverse Cartel and explaining his actions he takes in chronological later story lines. They are also among the darkest storylines of the series and put him in truly dangerous and risky situations he would never have been until now.

Much Like Lydia, Bender has a noticeable amount of relationships that he develops over the course, though unlike her, he does have a rogue gallery of his own he deals with as well. Many of them being among his closest friends and worst enemies

Luan is Bender’s closest friend in Phase 4 and his protege in his work. She is also why Bender is a better person mostly and has greatly aided him especially in the prequels. Bender despite taking pride in his crime life, doesn’t want her be liking him and he looks after her like a uncle sub for her and is one of the three people he does this with.

Bender411

Slade is someone Bender works with more often, despite having done so before. Slade serves as a contractor to him for his criminal work and while not as close as some of his other friends Slade and Bender have each other’s backs. Slade became his actual friend as a result of The Miracle Elite End Game where he and Anti Cosmo saved Bender and Luan from Darkseid.

Anti Cosmo is someone Bender develops a odd friendship with, and ends being his central partner for Phase 4, around the end game and the two trust each other’s abiltiies and help one another in their work with Anti Cosmo being more willing to play along with Bender compared to Slade’s more serious approach. This is in part that he goes back and forth working more with Him and Slade, as well as their middle man.

Marcy acts an another partner to him and like Luan played a major part in helping him. Marcy helped put Bender’s life in track fully in his own words. Bender also helps Marcy and by extension Anne and Sasha with their own friendship, knowing something with his own toxic tendencies and deciding to trust Sasha after she back stabs Anne, Marcy and himself for Marcy’s sake. Marcy aids Bender in one of his crucial subplots and reminds him of Lizbeth at times, who Marcy helps Bender try to get back.

Wile E Coyote is someone Bender met like Marcy and become a close ally. Like Luan, he is a central B Team member he works with and their friendship was due to similar problems at an animation retirement home. While Wile E is Arrogant, he does like Bender and doesn’t look down on him like most people and is grateful for Bender helping him sue ACME successfully and works as his partner in his work with the president.

Libby Stein is someone in particular Bender takes a parental substitute to much like how she has similarities to Dib and how Libby looks up to him as a role model. Bender despite what he has done as a parent legit hates her father and took his role to her more seriously in the latter half after learning about him. She also actively aids him in his P.I Work as well as she is some kind of blood hound for truth

Of Course he does have his main rogues to deal with, I intentionally kept The Joker out of this as I realized 22kingdomheartsfan was right about what he said.

Captain Putty is Bender’s most recurring foe, albeit not his worst enemy. Though Putty and Bender work as foils to each other and Putty is the most prominent member of the multiverse cartel. It took until the prequel to explain Bender’s reasons for hating Putty and they do have to do M.O.D.A.B, albeit not to the extent of the other cartel member he hates.

Zib is more of a character who represents the extremes of Dib’s character and someone who believes villains can’t change and acts as an question if The Team is really fine with Bender’s working relationship with Slade as Zib sees him a a traitor.

Death from Puss In Boots is the one foe, Bender never really beat but managed to live by acknowledging mortality. Death actually scared him in a way no else did, and put him on the defense throughout Anglesmith Origins. He was a starter villain for the robot, but one’s who reputation is firm and Death hounding with the robot stuck with him since. Death alone, proved he wasn’t infallible, What made him so effective was that Death was very much right about some of Bender’s vices and reckless actions, he was a villain but not evil. His appearance was the reason only Bender appeared in Anglesmith Origins because he had to deal with The Grim Reaper without his usual team.

Rodrigo Redneb is revealed to be another version of him and like Zib represents Bender’s worst traits to the most logical extreme.

Milton Midas is Bender’s most despied foe and through he appeared only 1 time, managed to be worse than The Joker, Thawne or anyone in Bender’s own life. Midas is reponsible for Bender’s actions throughout Phase 4 and Double Life Emergence sees their conflict grow more personal and get to the point where they feel they can’t move on in life unless the other is gone. Bender grows to hate Midas for how personal he makes it by working with Captain Putty to find his connections, gloating and trynig to blackmail him that Bender goes after him, he will target Dib and the others. Forcing himself on Morgana, orchestrating Leon Kennedy’s death and basically turning Lizbeth, Starfire, Dib and other into Chickadatyls with reduced intellgence and having them attack him and Midas goes further with the intent to turn them into fried chicken to serve to the customers he himself is mutating and almost sodomizes Darkwing, Jimmy and Launchpad. Bender kills Midas the most brutally of anyone he has killed, by severing his head off and using it as a safe even after Bender tried to follow Luan’s words and keep him alive only to do it, because Midas won’t stop trying to get to him. This being why he tries to get Lydia and Lincoln to Kill N.Tropy in En.Tropized

The Reason Bender came back unlike everyone else in M.O.D.A.B, is because when the idea to bring him back came up. I decided to put him on his own this time around and to change up the status quo without M.O.D.A.B or the B Team mostly. While bringing him back may have seemed repetitive, the idea is certainly not.

Bender’s role is the duteragonist is necessary and helped better the character as it helped him be a better person and allowed him to go on his own quest and how his decisions and story contrast Lincoln and Lydia. Phase 4, has Bender more well intention-ed reasons for actions he committed here compared to previous storylines, he is more open and trying to help Marcy, Luan and Libby with their lives and succeeding for them over himself, and accepts the changes at the start and end of the storyline.

What becomes of Bender after En.Tropzied is that he stays in the business and in a book ends respect, he was the only member of M.O.D.A.B from the first storyline to stay in the present, while in The Beginning he was the one from the future. Bender brought in the ones still left to help him and his new friends. Bender has made peace with Dib and Lizbeth departing, made amends with King Andrias, and is working to help Marcy deal with everything that happened with her.

Stanford Pines[]

Storyline Appearances: 9/18

Team: Team Free Will

Debut Story: TGTTA 2 (2017)

Ford Pines is the character aside from Lydia and Lincoln who has the most focus in the Team Free Will Plot and is mostly known as the leader of the team for most of Phase 4. Though he was important in TGTTA 2, Ford takes a main role for quite a bit of Phase 4, leading and helping his team deal with what is going on.

Ford is a duteragoninst like Bender and contrasts him, Lydia and Lincoln as well, in that he is a mentor like Bender, though Ford is more benevolent and works to be more open, while Bender keeps things private, both of them have mentor relationships with the main female chracter though in a father way and uncle way. Ford is a cyncial but experienced member unlike Lydia and Lincoln, he is a work alcholic compared to their more free spirited approach to adventure. The two don’t deal with N.Tropy until the finale, while Ford deals with plenty of his storyline’s foes before before working with his team to do so.

The Idea to make him Team Free Will’s Leader and the lack of involvement of any other character in his universe is with him being introduced so late in the series and my favorite character from the show. With my Phase 4 title, it was fitting for a new era to start with Castiel being dead and passing the mantle to Ford. I like Gravity Falls a lot, but Ford was more interesting to focus on sololy while having Bill Cipher start as the chronological main villain due to his connections to Ford as well as Lydia and Lincoln in TGTTA 2.

Team Free Will and leadership was something that could work to change hands on leadership over time. Again Phase 4’s title is meaningful is that way. I decided to also make Ford not the main lead, as the leader isn’t always the most prominent or important character of his team.

One thing that I did overtime, from Chang’s Guide To The Galaxy to the end of the series, Ford’s role diminished over the series being one of the main characters that lost focus. While he did regain some ground in the first half of the finale, Ford became less important for a few reasons.

1. As a mentor character and leader, it made sense for Lydia and Lincoln to take a more active role and grow on their own as heroes without Ford’s own involvement so their approach to their role is their own. Also I wanted to establish the duo’s own involvement in a double life and the Streaming Resistance

2. Early on, He and Bender both had the role of primary duteragonist. After that storyline though Bender took over the role after that point with the prequels regarding the Cartel Storyline establishing it’s back ground.

3. Ford’s connection to previous main villains was something that got kinda old having been done multiple times. He had no really involvement with The Cartel and other villains that took over.

The first half of En.Tropized brought Ford back to the forefront, by having him as a main character and the most important hero of the group behind the “core 4” protagonists. Ford’s storyline was a nostalgitic sense to what I did years ago with vacation ideas, only to go wrong. Not just that, But I wanted this storyline to be when Ford discovered Lydia and Lincoln’s involvement with The Streaming Resistance and Double life since it was time for him to be in the loop.

Ford was kept out of this due to The Streaming Resistance not being well established until War of The Streams and Retroactively done so as well with The duo having their own life in heroics they keep separate from the rest of Team Free Will. Also Ford’s approach to life is a contrast from the Streaming Resistance’s approach and it has to serve as an enticement to Lydia’s approach to life, as a secondary team. Ford was left out of this to cause some riff between Lincoln, Lydia and Ford as a result of the two keeping this from and to show Ford’s patience reaching some limit, though he does still admit the two have shown their independce and has pride with them. I decided to use the latter’s 12th birthday as a way to mend the bridges and to give Her and Lincoln a chance to work with Ford without doing their own sneak off mantra.

Though it ended on a sad note, with Ford being murdered by N.Tropy.

Ford411

Why was Ford killed off?, Well I always had plans to have him be killed and to be by N.Tropy. The intent was to not to just get rid of the mentor type. It was also to give Lydia a personal reason to oppose N.Tropy and to test her resolve for wanting revenge on N.Tropy for everything he did, with Ford’s death being the catalyst for it.

The Way he is killed was that he had a time aged heart attack at 92, which Bill Cipher said upon meeting him in Gravity Falls and then had his bones dissolve. Though Ford was able to take this with dignity and revealed to Lydia and Lincoln he knew about their secret relationship, and unlike other instances understood the reason. He also had faith in Lydia to be the leader of the team, and that his involvement with the Streaming Resistance in between Book 1 and Book 2 helped him mend his bridge with her and told him, she could do the job.

Ford’s Legacy in the story line is that he ultimately inspired Lydia to take initiative with Team Free Will after self reflection. His own approach helped shaped Team Free Will’s new one and helped bring The Streaming Resistance and Team Free Will to work together more openly. This also reunited as much Team Free Will Members as possible to get together to stop N.Tropy and his associates.

Slade Wilson[]

Storyline Appearances: 11/18

Team: Slade’s Empire

Debut Story: The Beginning (2010)

Slade is one of the other main characters to stay prominent in Phase 4 and he gets a bigger role here than his previous storylines, This was in part to nearly all the other main characters being taken out of prominence as retiring out of the storyline.

One thing, I did was renaming his Emble to his empire. This was done to show his beginning to establish his empire that he had in mind which he started after Phase 3 for his own needs as a way to use it for his own ends. It also done to establish how He would be connected to Bender’s plot going foward with Anti Cosmo, as while the two were pretty much established to share a plot, it needed a better reason. Blackpool in a way was a Turning point for he and Anti Cosmo to become major characters overall as afterwards, they pretty much kept a major role

While I did offically reform him after Miracle Dark Elite, I do go out of the way to mention his actions in Teen Titans and how his actions don’t get forgoten by others. Bender, Anti Cosmo and Celes all rip on him for it like mentioning his control freak tendncies, his desire for an apprentice and other actions as while Slade has reformed his acts can’t go unnoticed. To make it more believable, I decided to adapt part of Slade’s comic book version for how heinous Slade is in the comics, he does have a code, sides with the heroes when needed and has moments that keep him in the grey zone. If I didn’t it would make him his reformation less believable

I did bring The Multiverse Cartel as well as other villains to be formidable foes for a vast empire like Slade as similar to Bender and his gang. Slade had a way to easily deal with multiple foes, and to have his empire serve as a contrast to the criminal syndicate against him. He did develop some personal foes of his own albeit not major foes.

Slade411

Slade’s Phase 4 goals were more about setting up his empire, and going into much less toxic approach to his legacy. Slade wanted to establish an empire for a way to better the mutliverse in his own way and to insure the multiverse was able to forgive him for what he has done in the past. Slade does seek someone to follow his footsteps once more, without the tatics he used and seeks Marcy out for this. He also wants to insure people don’t forget the old era of the multiverse as well due to how much it has charged as a result of plenty of other acts.

Where as Ford diminished in focus, Slade’s focus was a bit more inconsistent, despite being around the most recurring characters. This was due to him being how he is and played a major role in many storylines, though not always. Slade is though around the same importance ranking as Ford in the secondary storyline.

Some of the inspiration of Slade’s character in Phase 4 was inspired by The Breaking bad Verse and Pulp Fiction, as well as The Godfather of the God parents. Due to what makes him so formindable, but also how he is The Criminal employer/contractor to Bender and his friends. This is done when they need something that more lawful means can’t get. This was done again to keep his character truly incheck.

Why I decided after putting him in story lines since the Beginning to kill him off finally is a question. Like Ford, the intent was to have Slade die at the end, though it came up later to do the job. I decided to inforce a terminal illness with him at the end and explain most of his own reasons for actions he takes. But also to show his care for Anti Cosmo, Harry, Celes, Bender and Luan as well. He didn’t want to be killed or die in a bed he wanted out in his own terms.

The Legacy of Slade is still strong with Anti Cosmo, Bender and Celes remembering him with the former two honoring his last request and Celes taking over his empire as per his will.

Anti Cosmo Cosma[]

Storyline Appearances: 11/18

Team: Slade’s Empire

Debut Story: The Beginning (2010)

Anti Cosmo got a bigger role and returned in Phase 4 alongside Slade and Bender and is the last of the trio to return. I felt if Slade was to come back, then he should too. I also felt that if some old cast should come back it should at least 3 returning characters from the previous storyline. I chose Bender as he was obvious, and decided to have Anti Cosmo and Slade be the other two due to deciding on two different main characters aside from Skipper, Heloise or others.

Ac411

Compared to Bender and Slade, he goes an another way than they do, not getting personal foes but focusing on his relationships with the two. The odd friendship/partnership with Bender that becomes a prominent part of the storyline as the series goes on and the right hand man/confidant best friend to Slade have the anti fairy go back and forth in his 11 storylines on which character he interacts with more with certain storyline using both as a major plot line.

More of his positive traits show here where of the main members of the empire, he is the most personable aside from Slade’s wife. Also at the same time his more childish side is shown, which is shown in him hanging out with Bender, Luan, Bean, Wile E and Captain Hero and the others with their own insane activities. . Phase 4 did show Anti Cosmo is not blindly loyal to Slade and can go against his decisions as shown in Multiversal Noir where he goes against Slade’s warnings and helps Bender, Luan, Wile E, President Wilson, Bean and Captain Hero with multiverse hopping. This caused Slade to show mistrust him in the next story line. Another time this was shown after Endgame, where he went against Slade and Harry’s wishes and decided to allow Bender to tell Luan about what the 4 of them were doing with The V Team and Brick and Butch.

Anti Cosmo’s reason for getting a bigger role came to how the character was treated in the latter half of Fairly Odd Parents’s run and that upset me due to him being alongisde Mr.Crocker my favorite villain and some of it came down to Foop replacing him in this regard. So I decided that giving him a bigger role to compensate for this. As at that point, I thought he would get an another appearance which he didn’t have Balance of Flour, though he eventually would return In A New Wish.

Like Slade, some of his character came from the same series and those with close connections to him. The Two spefically took inpsiration off Gus and Mike from Breaking Bad, Tom Hagen and Vito Coreflone from God Father and lastly Marsellus Wallace with Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction. Over time I took a shining to have him be in the plot and I billed above his boss Slade in Phase 4 as the storyline progressed and He actually has more importance overall. Heck even from the start of the writing, It was something he specifically said, that gave me the idea of Phase 4’s name.

Anti Cosmo was unique as he gained more focus over time and by the end of the storyline, he was the 4th most prominent character outside of Lydia, Lincoln and Bender forming a “core four” with them in the finale.

This was due to how connected he was to Bender’s plotline and in fact he was involved in all of Bender’s plot lines and alongside Bender appeared in the most of the B Plot Storylines. I decided when going to En.Tropized to give Anti Cosmo 4th billing to work with the other 3 and act as Bender’s partner in book’s plotline akin to Lincoln and Lydia. This also came to them being involved in every plotline in En.Tropized like them and each Book has a one scene with all 4 of them together.

Book 1’s plot has the two of them work against Victoria Neuman who they are in a stalemate when it comes to each other’s secrets and aiding Lincoln and Lydia investigate The Team Free Will Massacre.

Book 2’s Plot has them go on the run and deal with their double life become known as N.Tropy figured how the two are closing on him and frames them. They also help Tarrons with Luan, Wile E, Ford, Lincoln, Lydia, Toby and AAAARRRGGH! deal with General Mornado. Also for most of Book 2, only the two of them know about Slade’s terminal illness

Book 3’s Plot has Anti Cosmo and Bender reunite with 22kingdomheartsfan and Knuckles5’s teams to help Train Anne to deal with King Andrias who betrayed the three of them, Marcy, Luan Slade and Harrison Wells while working with Libby to get back to the others.

Book 4’s Plot with them has them taking on King Andiras and his invasion helping Sasha, Slade, Luan Grime and Harrison save Marcy Wu from the Core. Then Anti Cosmo directly helps Bender deal with Rodrigo Redneb while Lydia and Lincoln deal with N.Tropy. When Slade gives up his live for them, The two are spefically picked by Slade to honor his last request and deal with the end of times together like Lydia and Lincoln dealt with in Book 3.

What becomes of Anti Cosmo after En.Tropized is that he sticks around with Bender and his gang. He stills works with Celes who took over the empire. Though Slade’s right hand man and most fitting to take the empire, he is fine not being picked, as he was comfortable where he was. Anti Cosmo also swore to help the multiverse remember the old times as he and Bender hold the keys to the old multiverse between them and the rest of the heroes still in the past.

Luan Loud[]

Storyline Appearances: 10/18

Team: The B Team

Debut Storyline: TGTTA 2 (2017)

I brought Luan Loud to return as as the most recurring Loud Sister by far and make her a main character. It was an usual choice, since Luna is my favorite sister and yet Luan got to be top focus and acts as the other B Team Member alongside Bender to be really prominent. I personally felt Luan would be a great fit to go in the plotlines more than Luna and since I always had the idea to have her be in close proximity to Bender it make a good choice and with how similar she is to The Joker, but actually more infested in pranks and rarely directly cruel making in funny that Bender hates The Joker so much and adores Luan just as much.

Superhero Fanfics had a role in giving Luan her direction as a character specifically Spiderman, as I really like Spiderman and while Batman is my other favorite hero, Luan wouldn’t fit that role too much but Spiderman fits better. Though again Luan’s Ace Savry Hero name is The Joker and she does act like Joker, Though it did serve as an inspiration for The Prankster, a more Joker like Luan that I used for a few storylines. I went out of my way to keep The Joker out of this storyline, but I did refer to him at times.

Much like her brother, Luan’s close relationship with Bender plays a crucial part for them both, especially in the prequels where she stood out as a heroine majorily. Bender’s more likeable side is mostly when it comes to her influence as she gave him stablitly, a reason to do crime though for good reasons and gave him the guts to go against the Grim Reaper. This is truly shown as Bender has no intent for Luan to be a criminal despite being proud of this, and tries to stop her from doing stuff like this. While she has a good relationship with her folks, they have 11 kids and thus hanging with Bender is a way to help out with this. She also serves as his protege and helps facilate deals Bender has for his job with her personable personality and has a business owner it works for him. Her powers are Spider Man like and her own arc is getting in her own role much like Spider Man himself in the MCU

Aside from Bender, Slade and Anti Cosmo she has the most focus of the storyline, She contrasts Skipper the character who fit the role of right hand man/sidekick for Bender in the previous storylines. Luan is actually Bender’s healthest relationship of the people he knows with Skipper being sliver medal-ed. A Real surprise for Luan’s character is that she’s the most moral of the cast of main characters of the subplot despite her own ruthlessness at times. This comes because

Luan411

Bender is a criminal and proud of it while also being ruthless,

Slade and Anti Cosmo are former villains, with Slade still being ruthless at times and Anti Cosmo being a snarker and liking to cause bad luck

Harrison Wells is highly insufferable and lacks social skills which caused him troubles

Marcy is good, but did something particually amoral in her past,

Libby is a nice Girl, but she also can be neurotic to a fault about things

Captain Hero is screwed up even for the others’s standards with his insanity and horrifying actions, Bean can be a hedonist with bouts of reckless actions

Wile E is smug in his IQ to the point of rubbing in people’s faces aside from Bender and Luan.

While the subplot is pretty bleak at times, Luan does levitate the mood at times, with her personality and her plot with Bender in the prequel Anglesmith Origins works beacuse she has no real intent to use the Macguffin and just wants to help Bender with his mission. Making her and Death the only main characters of that storyline who had that.

Unlike Bender, Anti Cosmo, Slade and most other characters we actual get to see an initial look at her future before the finale. I got her involved with Lizbeth in the final 3rd of Chronicles and w/o the trio to show how she had become on her own. Though showing to an extent the toll it takes on teens or kids who stay active heroes, I also made her very much anti-Nazi for good reasons.

Despite being in a similar spot to Anti Cosmo when it comes to Bender and Slade respectivefully. Her role is actually on par with Slade. As both Slade and Luan are tied for the 3rd most important character of the Subplot due to Slade having an extra appearance, but Luan having more promience and screen time. As her role can be inconsistent for the same reasons, in that either I pair Bender in his parenting roles with Libby or Marcy, Or focus more on The final fallouts of Bender’s own subplots where he works with his other main partners. This does come in account to her being a teenager and having her own life outside of things.

Luan’s other relationships outside of Bender to stand out with her connecting Marcy. Cleo, and Bean’s friends to work with Bender and the others in their story lines. She gets along well with Wile E Coyote as well and is spared from his smugness. Luan also has connections with Harry Wells who helped her grow into her own heroine and had some connections to Kate Bishop as Chronicles revealed and got a closer relationship with Hughie Campbell and Spider Gwen as well.

The Future of the comedian Loud is more uncertain since we know already some of it. Luan admittingly did go the other way and got more involved in the game. The Future though isn’t set for her and some of her live can change now with the timeline altered and having Bender, Anti Cosmo, Spider Gwen, Wile E, Bean, Starfire and others to help push her into a direction where she is not a mourning fiancee, and where she can balance her powers and heroism like Peter Parker’s own life.

Deathstroke Wilson[]

Storyline Appearances: 9/18

Team: President Wilson and Associates

Debut Story: TGTTA 2 (2017)

. His inclusion and role in Phase 4

Rounding out the returing Cast is Deathstroke Wilson from Arrow who appeared at first in TGTTA 2 as Thawne’s right hand man who managed to turn his life around and decided to use the timeline being changed to atone for his own crimes and become the president of the northern multiverse. He got more involved in this plot, as much like most of the returning main cast I wanted to give him more focus. This was also so I can have an authority figure in the bigger picture.

Deathstroke ties into both Lydia/Lincoln’s plot and Bender’s plot has a result. He is connected to Lydia and Lincoln’s side as a result of

.him working with them against The Smoking Man

.Bringing in Mulder and Scully who would become the legal guardians of the former

.Being the one who kept Team Free Will safe after the fallout caused by N.Tropy and CSM working with Ford, Larke and Bruce to doing so

Deathstroke411

. Sending his allies to help them deal with The Spot and N.Tropy’s associates and aiding against the Arcane Order

As for Bender, Deathstroke is tied to him as a result of

. Aiding Bender against the Multiverse Cartel, hiring him to work with him under his protection and serves as a legal employer

. Providing the Resources to help him and his friends try to find Lizbeth

. Aiding him in keeping his double life under wraps

Obviously, there are two Slades And he is called Deathstroke to distgunish him from Slade, as The 2003 series of Teen Titans doesn’t use that name. Similar to Slade, Anti Cosmo, Hunson Abadeer and Discord, he is a reformed villain and this idea is explored with him in particular. He is less heinous than they are at their worst, even during the time he was an villain so exploring redemption made more sense and took less time. Though he more than any of them had to deal with the fact that he did do horrible things by En.Tropized due to his actions under Thawne being exposed due to N.Tropy and Tek Knight. He also came close to being exposed by Frank Underwood who would also indicate Bender, Wile E Coyote, Slade and Anti Cosmo as well.

Him being the president of the northern multiverse actually does make sense considering the role this character took in an alternate universe in certain adaptions as the president of the US. This role was done to establish that to me anyway, The Multiverse has 4 different regions, and that being the directions. I would assume the anime part of the multiverse would be the east considering Japan.

He doesn’t have much of involvement with Team Arrow, but does have a good deal of involvement with other Arrowverse villains that are beloved being against Thawne, and working with Malcolm Merlyn and Damian Darik. This makes sense as Thawne is the solo villain of these 4 who remained vile since the end of The Arrowverse, the other two at least managed to redeem themselves if slightly. Like Slade’s Empire, the idea was to have a good deal of his allies be reformed villains themselves and be part of his poltical party as a way to keep them safe and allow them to pay their debts to multiversal society.

Appearance wise he isn’t as prevalent as Lincoln, Lydia, Bender, Luan, Slade or Anti Cosmo, he is most likely the central tritagonist overall or one of two alongside Marcy Wu in part to his involvement with both sides. Deathstroke also is one of the more consistent main characters to stay in focus as aside from his cameo in Angelsmith Origins and En.Tropized Book 1, he has always been a major or main character of every story-line

His Central story arc eventually is the idea can a villain who commits the crimes he has truly change and reform. The answer was yes despite how cyncial I am with my writting, as he really did do his darnest to aid and help the heroes. He still did commit more questionable actions, though for the greater good and even after getting exposed of his crimes, Deathstroke still did attempt to do good and wanted to prove he was a changed man. He eventually succeeded at the cost of his own life much like Ford and Slade

The Reason he was killed off, was I felt that one way to break the status quo was to kill the ones who had the most authority and pull in the storyline to establish the new era. Hence this was why Lydia, Lincoln, Bender, Anti Cosmo and Luan were going to survive. Unlike Ford who was killed by N.Tropy and Slade who decided to go out fighting instead of being on a bed, Deathstroke safriced himself to defeat Bellroc and Skarel of the Arcane Order knowing he would die to give Lydia and Lincoln an opening to defeat the N.Trophies, allow Bender and Anti Cosmo to defeat N.Tropy’s right hand man Rodrigo Redneb and The Calamity Trio to stop The Core. He also did this to prove to the multiverse who mistrusted him that he truly sheded that aspect of that man he was under Eobard Thawne

Deathstroke’s legacy was that he managed to make his territory of the multiverse a better place and insured the safety of his men mostly who came back under Victoria Neuman who got away from N.Tropy and his forces alive. Due to Ford’s death and talking with Fox and Dana, He learnt of Lydia’s desires going foward and had his successor come up with a proposal for her to bring Team Free Will back as a hero team, though give Lydia, Lincoln and the others the Free Will to choose which adventures to go on. He also managed to get a Bender a full pardon the same way he got his allies and had Neuman do so.

Main Characters Introduced[]

Sid Chang[]

Storyline Appearances: 10/18

Team: Team Free Will

Debut Storyline: Return of the Weirdarmageddon Cult (2022)

Sid Chang was A Bit of a outliner compared to the rest of the main characters as it’s never shown how she joined Team Free Will.

Sid411

Sid’s inclusion was due to her being the best part of the Casagrandes show and her inclusion was in part to liking the character and feeling the character deserves more time after the cancellation as she only appeared 1 time since the finale. That part will come out later, and I really liked her episodes. Some of her attributes and interests were also used in her character.

One thing I decided to use part of the character was magic, which something Lincoln would have interest and I introduced with her trying to get her own hand into it as a contrast to Ford’s science endeavors. It also allowed her to have a way to defend herself much like Lincoln and Lydia got their own ways to through their own ways and wits. It also allowed to establish more connections with other characters on that side of the scope, with Sid befriending the Owl House Crew and Queen Eclipsa. This did though put her at odds with Emperor Belos and Mina Loveberry as well in her own limelight storyline. This is why Sid is part of the 11 main characters as she had a plot of her own like the other 3 Team mates of her team.

Even without that, Sid does have very real importance in two of her major appearances despite not being a main character in them. Sid is the reason, Marcy Wu and her friends got involved with Team Free Will and the others and in turn allowed Anne, Luz, Cricket and the others to join the team. She also being in witness relocation with Lisa Loud due to N.Tropy and The Smoking Man, she met Bender, Anti Cosmo, Wile E Coyote, Libby Stein and learned about The B Team and Slade’s Empire who were also against Toffee and Bill Cipher like her, Team Free Will and Marcy. This in turn allowed both storylines to connect as a result Luz was sent to kill Slade a story later by Odalia Blight and Anti Cosmo with Bender stopped this and heard out Luz because they worked with Sid who knew her.

Similar to Ford, Sid did fall off in focus in the back half though it wasn’t for the same reason. Like I mentioned earlier, it was basically in part due to the Loud House barely using her anymore after Ronnie Anne’s show was canceled. Sid’s exile in a way from the franchise was truly frustrating as well as the colortful cast of that show since few Casagrandes Characters appeared since. This also damaged her useage in the series, though Chang’s Guide To The Galaxy did give her own time to be the main POV Protagonist so she fared better than most characters. Heck unlike most characters, I am unsure what her future is after the series. My reason for focusing less on Sid was the less of a need for plotlines that needed magic and she wouldn’t fit in the plotlines about crime and wouldn’t have a personal reason to deal with N.Tropy.

One can only hope, if someone returns to using Sid after this point, there were be more episodes of the franchise she will have appeared.

Marcy Wu[]

Storyline Appearances: 9/18

Team: The Mar Mar Gang

Debut Storyline: Return of the Weirdarmageddon Cult (2022)

Marcy411a

Marcy is alongside Deathstroke the tritagonist of Phase 4 and like him connects both plotlines together though is a bigger player in Bender’s plotlines.

Ampihibia is a show I watched since 2020, and I loved the show. Marcy Wu became my favorite character upon her introduction. Due to her being my favourite character. This should come as no suprise that she got the most focus of the cast of her show in the storyline, even over Anne and Sasha.

Like Deathstroke, She has her own group albeit lack of developed and has her own close bonds with Bender, Slade, Luan, Anti Cosmo and Harrison Wells. Where she plays a major role in their storyline though also having some ties into Team Free Will. It’s because she even worked with them, that got her to go find Bender and get his help with Toffee and Bill Cipher, and from Bender’s POV Marcy and him meeting changed his life.

Amphibia took a long time to go all in on purpose due to wanting to go the multiversal way with the Box. I also decided to go in reverse order with the box gems as well and bring in Bender and his team on the plot with Marcy helping Bender find Lizbeth, and he helps her get Anne and Sasha home by working with King Andiras who makes a deal with both of them. Marcy works with Sasha and Anne both at least once on her own terms, which I felt Amphibia should have did by giving more focus to Marcy’s friendship with Sasha. Marcy developed some close friends of her own besides them in Bender, Slade, Harry Wells, Anti Cosmo, Libby and Luan in particular. Slade had intends to insure she inherits his legacy and Bender learned of what Marcy did to get Anne and Sasha in Amphibia and kept it secret for her sakes. I decided also that En.Tropized needed to be where Season 2’s finale and 3 were to conncet as well to the storyline where Andiras betrays her, Bender, Slade, Anti Cosmo, Luan and Harry Wells as he duped the former two into getting rid of the Disney Villain Competiton. It also brings Bender to work with Anne to save her, as he never had interactions with her like he did with other Team Free Will Members. It is her that causes Slade to co-op with Sasha and Grime upon Andiras’s actions and accept they’re willing to change. This in turn allows Bender, Slade, Sasha and Grime to free her from the Core while Anne deals with Andiras.

Marcy was Like Lydia, Lincoln, Bender, Anti Cosmo and Deathstroke, in that Marcy stayed consistent in her importance despite appearing less than Luan, Sid, Harry, Slade and others. One could debate aside from the former 4, she was the most important character and with them and Anne she was the most important character of the finale.

What was different for Marcy here compared to Amphibia, is that she was more in the know about multiverses here and it shows where she was before meeting Sid, Ford, Lincoln, Lydia, Bender, Luan, Slade and Anti Cosmo. She also knew she was A Disney Character and it allowed her to survive against Bill and Toffee’s endgame. Marcy’s friendships with her gang as well as Bender and his team as well as Slade, Anti Cosmo and Harrison Wells gave her more perspective of what she had done to Anne and Sasha, with Bender and Andiras coming to odds further when the latter reveals it. The Core even pointed out when posessing her that despite Slade, Bender and the other’s flaws they actually seemed more like her friends over Anne and Sasha which isn’t fully wrong.

Marcy though while she also retired from adventuring like in canon, she stayed in contact with Bender and his friends much like Anne and Sasha. With Bender picking her up from therapy and helping her deal with what she went through and he went so far to pay her hopsital bills out of his own pocket w/o doing his usual tatics.

Like I said, Marcy’s future afterwards does seem to go to healing with the help of Bender and his friends. Despite disbanding her gang, she remains friends with them as she does with Anne and Sasha. That being said, Marcy does still look at her time in the mulitverse adventure scene fondly.

Dr.Nefarious Tropy[]

Storyline Appearances: 7/18

Team: N.Tropy and Associates

Debut Storyline: Return of the Weirdarmageddon Cult (2022)

Lastly, let’s discuss the “Big Bad” overall of Phase 4.

N.Tropy is the main villain and the archenemy of Lydia and to an extent Lincoln, He is Ford’s killer the perpetrator of Bender and Anti Cosmo having to clear their names in En.Tropized as well as Deathstroke’s past needed to be cleared up.

I settled on him being the main villain due to his theme with time and his role he took in Crash 4: It’s About Time which he was made the game’s main villain but not the final boss. When I got into Crash Bandicoot, N.Tropy became my favorite villain in the franchise and I wanted to see more of him in the series.

Unlike the big main villains of my storylines, I wanted to handle him differently from the rest of the villains I had. So I made him a overarching villain through the storyline where he would appear a couple of times, but not as the main villain at first and cause massive trouble to Team Free Will through association with some of the villains.

I also wanted to keep him as a Villain for Team Free Will mainly, as most of my main villains ususally stick to opposing The B Team and the other teams with. N.Tropy does clash with Bender as mentioned in passing but it’s saved for the finale and Countdown and he is still not N.Tropy’s main enemy and vice versa just someone who is getting too close to his hand being revealed. N.Tropy serves as the main enemy for Lydia and later on Lincoln too as the series goes on, though I keep the reasons hidden over time for the former in particular and his oppsition of Lincoln is due to how much he aids her. Getting to the point he gets his alternate counterpart to help him to even the odds. He also basically is the main perpetrator of the events that plague the two, Team Free Will and The Streaming Resistance as revealed later on.

N.Tropy stands even among villains like Hunson Abadeer, Discord and others I used for how heinous his actions are and his motives coming down to spite, petty revenge which he extends to a team and multiverse itself over 1 or two people, and a god complex. N.Tropy also shows a lack of loyalty for his allies, by betraying them or killing them himself. N.Tropy commits some of the most evil actions any villain has done in my storyline But here’s the highlights

1. Being the one who breaks Team Free Will Apart for a time being

Ntrop411

2. Kills The Robinson Family because they got too close to figuring him out, leaving Will and Penny Robinson to join The Streaming Resistance

3. Nuking Trolberg with a Nuclear Weapon to get Hilda and the others off his back and knowing Hilda and her family are fairies, he could torture them to die slowly due to radaition poisoning

4. Massacring The Vast Majority Of Team Free Will and leaving their corpses at the Time Bureau for Lincoln and Lydia to find.

5. Releasing a False Groudon to devour the multiverse

6. Damaging the Mirror verse of the multiverse and framing Bender and Anti Cosmo for it

6. Killing Ford in front of Lydia to prove he means business to her by implaing him, forcing him to be agen to 92 where he has a heart attack. He did over her future self being the one to force him into cypertech and imprisoning him for damaging the timeline in the beginning of the series. He was also orchestrating the death of Lincoln’s grandparents and almost lobotimzed Lincoln’s family and Lydia’s legal guardians.

7. Planning to reset the multiverse with the intent to build the multiverse to the way he desires with intents to be a god and choose who doesn’t exist.

Though he is the main villain, he didn’t become a main character until Streamverse, as this was when I decided N.Tropy had to fully establish his role as the main villain as he was just backing previous villains. He still does that, but takes a more direct hand here and has his alternate female counterpart help him which shows his narccissm if he can only work with a version of himself wihout problems.

He is similar to Lydia, Lincoln and Bender in his own secret nature and yet he is even worse. Unlike them who have good intentions, N.Tropy does this for himself and hides from his own allies his own plans aside from Rodrigo Redneb, The Arcane Order and his alternate Counterpart as they are too vaulable to keep this from. If Anyone else finds out, N.Tropy basically sets them for death, kills them himself and/or betrays them.

He served as a villain who got away with his crimes for the most part until the finale where Lydia and Lincoln kill him and his Counterpart in self defence considering a guy like him can’t be reasoned with and if he is aloud to live, This enables him to keep doing crimes like this. This even caused some troubles for them as they wanted to the right thing as Will, Eleven, Some of Team Free Will and M.O.D.A.B believed in stopping N.Tropy. Bender, Skipper, Heloise, Peacemaker, Wednesday and Slade’s Crew though that they need to kill him. They choose a third option, to kill him but as a way to defend themselves as Toby, Jake and Amy point out.

Though dead, his influence still was felt and he did manage to a get big kill count upon the ones with the highest.

One Question is that Is he the Ultimate Evil, or my most heinous villain?.

For Team Free Will, very much yes to both. He is overall my most heinous villain without question even outside of that. He is though in contention with the UE title with Milton Midas for Bender’s own story-line.

I decided I needed a foe that could top The Joker, Thawne and others in being evil and having truly destructive multiverse scale plans and Crash 4 was the inspiration to make N.Tropy that villain. He had a plan on par with the likes of Thanos as his end game How couldn’t I?

What happened to every major character and why they are out of the storyline?[]

Now it’s time to discuss what nearly every other character apart from the 8 and the returning characters in the teams didn’t come back

With M.O.D.A.B it was a decision to retire them out of the storyline and keep them out. While I did this before. It was a choice to have nearly every one in The B Team even be out of the plotline even Skipper, Heloise and Lizbeth who along with Bender were the main 4 characters with the focus until Phase 4. The Teams did come back for the finale and I did break them apart at the end as it felt like the best way to go at with the fact that the Multiverse was safe with Team Free Will and Bender still acting.

Skipper and Heloise with the rest of The B Team I felt as Much I loved them and their chemistry with Bender, I felt when I started Phase 4 to change things and it was time to have them take a lower role alongisde Dib and the others. This may have been not the best choice to give Bender his own new costars but I also did to this to make Luan more important to the story line. If they did stay, it would be all too similar to the last multiple years.

As for Lizbeth, She was alongside Bender, the main focal piece of Phase 1 to 3 and was a connecting aspect of me and my friends storyline in Phase 3 and Phase 2. They kept her promience when I stopped. When Phase 4, came around, I decided to keep even her out of focus too in favour of Lydia, Bender, Lincoln, Anti Cosmo and Slade. Lydia would take the role of the main female lead with Lincoln as her partner as opposed to Lizbeth’s many partners. Bender, Anti Cosmo and Slade would be the best characters to have come back to a new timeline and storyline of the old cast. She did though become a crucial part of Bender’s plotline in Phase 4 and did get a main role after what happened to her. The V Crusaders followed suit due to this as well with Lizbeth’s absence.

My friends’s teams was because they stopped and retried and made a choice to do like wise out of respect. Though I did have them appear a few times to show they were still around

Hunson Abadeer and Discord both went out of focus to the former’s association with Lizbeth and Discord’s game breaking powers would made things too simple so he was regulated to only appearance once in a particular dire situation.

The Multiversal Resistance was a team I thought would be the next big team, though Team Free Will ended up being this and I decided to have them be collateral damage to the Multiverse Cartel for the most part.
