One of the things I went a bit overboard when it came to the previous storylines before my return in 2022 to now and that was how dark I made the storyline just for edgyness. I feel at that point, I did this because of how my life was at the time and how I intercepted things at the time. I felt indirectly responsible for allowing other people to go in such edgy territory as well.

Like one thing to meniton, is that often one’s live can ultimately decide the tone of how one makes pltolines or storylines if it gets more silly or more serious. I bet we were all in that kind of state in mind back a decade ago.

When I began Phase 4, I settled to at the very most keep the story line not as edgy as the previous story line. Not to say that there are moments that are legit dark here and some of them stand up there as the darkest moments I have used in my own story lines.

This isn’t in any order aside from when the plot line was written so the last moment I talk about may not be the darkest moment of all.

To Live and/Or Die in Loch Loud[]

Linka Loud is Killed[]

When I wrote To Live and/Or Die in Loch Loud the intent was to make more of a breather storyline compared to Toffee and Bill Cipher’s attempt at Weirdmagedon, by having Toffee’s henchmen Morag go after the heroes in revenge and keep it mostly contained in Loch Loud

This was mostly a success as the steaks were kept low throughout the storyline, that is until the death of Linka Loud. I decided in my plotline to make The Loud Sister and Boys from the One of the Boys Episode to be Cousins of The Loud Family from one of the parent’s side of the family. Her Death is one of the biggest moments of this in part to the how and the results.

Her death stood out, because of how, it wasn’t just be killed or in a cartoony way. It was a neck snap at the hands of Morag who tricked Lincoln into using a rope to save her and it causes her neck by accident, by putting a rope on her before pushing her off a bridge. Basically Morag gaslights Lincoln into thinking he killed a member of his family.

The Idea to do this came from most well known Spiderman Comic where they killed off Gwen Stacy and the grief it left on Peter and brought him closer to MJ.

This also drastically effects him to the point where even after the storyline until the events of Team Free Will: Disassembled had Lincoln traumatized by ropes and snapped at everyone after the initial shock happened parring Lydia who had witnessed the event herself. It also let him to try and get rid of this trauma by volunteering to get a surgery on himself to improve his personality to make him less angsty which nearly killed him until again Lydia led the others to save him, he also got viciously mocked for this by Chandler which led to him getting a broken nose at Lydia’s hands by smashing a roller skate in his face over this.

This event stood out for Linc because it was the first step that would push Lincoln to where he is by the end as well as having to learn a harsh truth about life and death. For how serious Loud House gets on rare occasions, it never swerves into an actual death, the closest they got was Geri antics with Lisa and Pop Pop where Lisa tried to insure the latter lives a longer life.

Multiversal Noir[]

An Usual downer Ending of the Story[]

Having Villains doesn’t always have to be done and while Multiversal Noir is one of these in having main villains. It doesn’t make for a lesser situation. With Lizbeth being gone and having disappeared due to the actions of Eobard Thawne and Bill Cipher starting Weirdmagedon being revealed to be the causes for it. This is what causes M.O.D.A.B to work to try find her and investigate the situation

Aside from Bender the crew works together with Bender working with Luan, Anti Cosmo, Wile E Coyote, Bean, Captain Hero, Cleo and Deathstroke’s group to find her by hopping through multiverses. Despite their best efforts, M.O.D.A.B and Anti Cosmo have the most reason to believe she is dead having going to Ground Zero.

The M.O.D.A.B members hold two services, with the 2nd one being a public one and the 1st one being very much like Snow White as they mourn for their close friend’s death. Everyone is sadden but most of them don’t speak or say anything. The exceptions are Bender and Boomer who Lizbeth has the most virotic and loving friendships with respectfully

Boomer is crying in Nina’s shoulders over this as he got back with Nina after this due to what happened with Liz and his genuine sorrow though he believes she isn’t really dead.

As For Bender, he’s in the corner of the room unlike the others and can’t even bear to look at what they found of Lizbeth. He attempts to hide his grief, but fails to and you can feel his gulit for not being to find her, thus being his white whale throughout his storyline. Even compared to the others, this becomes especially harsh for Bender thanks to future tales considering how much he dealt with the prequels.

After the more quiet service ,At the public Service, He is the One who puts the flowers on the coffin over Milo and Boomer and it’s him that refuses to give up to find Lizbeth after he has a revelation afterwards which leads to his deal with King Andrias. For all that virtuousness between Lizbeth and Bender it shows that are one of each other’s best friends if he went as far as he did.

Something an happy ending isn’t guaranteed and this is what Multiversal Noir’s ending was to show.

The Prankster Point Paradox[]

Revealing Flashbacks between The Dark Miracle Elite: Endgame and Anglesmith Origins/ Return of the Weirdmagedon Cult[]

Now that I set the mood with that last moment, it’s time to show some of that harsher in hindsight aspect to Multiversal Noir’s ending when it came to how it affects Bender, Luan, Slade, Anti Cosmo and Harry Wells.

So When I learned of the storyline The Miracle Dark Elite and the Apokolips War Endgame and the mention of the 5 characters mentioned, this gave me an idea to link it into Phase 4 and while I havn’t read to it’s fullest detail, I decided to focus on the ending.

I decided to have both The V Team as well as Brick and Butch killed as a result of the events. The Former safaried their lives to insure the success and rescue of the heroes and the latter two were killed during the vents. While this may go against one of my own codes I had done here, considering jm0364 did retire and his team was working under one of my own. I felt an exception could be made

With them, I decided to have them buried under Slade’s manor with Slade, Anti Cosmo, Harrison, Bender and Luan all knowing about this. The rest of the team figured that were creamated and buried. Though the 5 did know the actual truth and as per Slade the truth can’t come out due to situations. Anti Cosmo did vouch for Luan to be in the loop as it was initally going between the 4 guys.

This Moment stood out as the moment that disbanded the teams and was also a pitoval moment for Slade’s Empire to actually reform as a result of Slade, Anti Cosmo and Harrison saving Bender and Luan from Darkseid. It also marked the end of the old era of the multiverse for them all and a pitoval moment of Bender’s character as well. The Fact people are standing on a open graveyard in the manor is chilling to say the least, despite Slade’s intent that burying The V Team with the rest of the graves isn’t really worthy of their sacrifice.

Chang’s Guide To The Galaxy[]

Vecna nearly kills Hilda/ Hilda’s fight with Lydia over Lincoln/ Jaune Arc in put in a coma[]

Vecna is one of the scarest villains in modern day and I decided to make this indeed true in storyline. While he was active in the previous Team Free Will Stories, he made his move officially here. Attempting to kill certain heroes to escape or at least make it long enough to count. He targeted people with mental issues, and one major targets was Hilda.

Hilda, like Lydia has a crush on Lincoln and part of Hilda’s storyline was her growing awarity of the thing going between the latter two. Lincoln and Lydia did desire to tell Hilda of the truth of things, but Hilda made things complicated. Hilda’s jealousy and insecurity regarding Lydia is what got Vecna to go after her.

Meanwhile Lydia and Lincoln discover Vecna’s role in Hilda’s father figure Jaune Arc’s own tragedy by being who killed Pyrrha Nikos. This has more meaning thanks to Double Life Emerged/ce thanks to them knowing her and being the leader of the Streaming Ressistance.

The fact, Hilda’s own insecurity makes her a target for a psycho like Vecna and the way he kills people is truly brutal so it was nature she would be targeted. This happens after Hilda throws a huge fight with Lydia with Lincoln, Despite the red head’s calm personality, she engages due to Hilda pushing her buttons. They fight over what’s best for their mutual person of interest and themselves. Hilda is claimed and nearly killed by Vecna in a brutal way, because she eventually lashes out of Lincoln for siding with Lydia and getting together with her.

This leads into a struggle with her, Lincoln, Lydia, Jaune Arc and Johanna when it comes to Vecna and Jaune Arc is nearly killed himself and comatized. This is one of the darkest moments due to the matter of attempted death, how bad insecurity and jealously can be and serving as a climax of sorts due to the build up of what was going on since To Live and/or Die In Loch Loud between Lydia, Hilda and Lincoln.

Anglesmith Origins[]

Death Just Death[]

Anglesmith Origins is single handily one of the darkest storylines and this was caused by the mere presence of Death from Puss in Boots. Where do I start with this guy well I know.

1. His Sadist Personality

Anglesmithorginsmaincharacter10

2. His very Presence changed the very tone of the storyline, despite the lack of appearances compared to the other 9 main Characters.

3. Bender showed very real terror of him in a way NO other Villain managed to. While he is arrogant at first laughing in the face of Death and how he made his you know. Only to learn that ain’t the case at all and that he was doing not this to a hunter wanting Bender’s head but the Grip Reaper Himself who takes very real offense at this. Unlike Other Villains, Bender actively avoided trying to deal with him until the end due to that first encounter and no matters where he goes, Death finds him until he reveals himself. On top of this, dealing with Death is something that he has to do on his own without Skipper, Heloise, Dib, Starfire, Lizbeth or anyone mainly.

4. The Very Reason he is after Bender, is that Death was furious with Bender’s reckless attitude towards life and death and sick of that Bender wasted his previous lives in other timelines. Think on this one, Bender indirectly angered the Grim Reaper so much, that Death decided that him being still alive was an discourtesy to him and decides to actively attempt to kill him. Death even admitted, that he doesn’t get this involved when revealing who he is.

5. The Fact he can’t be defeated, something Bender straight out acknowledged when he does find the guts to face him. Despite how long he lives, and while I won’t kill him off, Death will get Him eventually at some point.

    • 6. That Whistle, which he hums which aside from the big moment, he does this to insure Bender knows that Death is pursuing him.

7. The fact Death isn’t wrong to call out Bender, for the action mentioned earlier. Something Bender also has to acknowledge. Death also makes to sure Bender knows the robot his own value as well when doing this. While I call Death a villain, I won’t call him straight out evil as a result of this, and despite all this, Death does indeed play a set of rules, and doesn’t target anyone else for the most part, and his reasons are fair. The Fact he isn’t straight out evil is why he isn’t Bender’s worst nemesis and why Milton Midas from the other prequel takes the role.

Streamverse[]

This one has two moments that stand out and both of them have to do with Dr. Nefarious Tropy and his heinous plots. Let’s go into them both

N.Tropy nukes Trolberg[]

Any time someone drops a bomb could fall into the dark territory, due to a dark foreboding nature when it comes to this kind of thing. N.Tropy knowingly detonated a nuke in Trolberg and why he did this was to get the heroes off his back in his plots and considering the universe, this is even more lethal than intended. Due to Hilda and her family’s fairy nature and how dangerous Nukes are, he does this with the intent to have Hilda and her family die of a painful death for the evil.

He does have The Spot do this to keep his real role in all this and in turns foreshadows the other moment after Lydia and Lincoln both end in his proximity.

This causes everyone to go into hiding with Hilda and the others hiding in the Nesse Space. Where as Lincoln, Lydia, Peacemaker, Wednesday, Eleven, Will, Penny and Blinky to hide out in Hilda’s own Cabin home.

If not just that, the consequence of the actions are shown

Peacemaker and Penny discover that It was initially done to stop time,

Eleven goes with Blinky  to check Trolberg's  library respectfully in a hazmat suit and gas mask as they do so they see plenty of dead bodies and she finds herself get attacked by wolves that were mutated by the radiation of N.Tropy's denator

Will and Lydia find about the Bell Tower as the main scene of the crime.

Wednesday and Lincoln go to Hilda's house in Trolberg, Lincoln finds Twig's body and Lincoln remembers causalities of the Protect and Surivive PSAS and he follows it's instructions which ends up being how one disposes of a dead body.

Lastly, Lincoln and Lydia’s own investigation really dips into this territory. As the two investigate, they find a makeshift hospital, finding many denizens of Trolberg terribly burned and injured requiring amputations as well. There are no Supplies or even power and with it being a fallout area of blood, broken glass isn’t ideal.

Even more horrendous stuff is seen with infect wounds, no real antibiotics, glass shards being removed with tweezers and then seeing a person screaming as a limb is being sawed off without anesthetic.

Even for spooky moments, this one stands out due to how those sights are not for the Faint heart, let alone for children. This is something that the two ultimately decide they will take to their graves due to the sheer horror

The Team Free Will Massacre[]

The Event that puts the heroes on the path to chase down N.Tropy is something does over time. N.Tropy commits a massacre of Team Free Will’s old members and it’s foreshadowed that he is on a rampage to do this. It’s not just that, but he kept the bodies and made sure The Streaming Resistance saw this out of sheer sadism.

Yeah, another where both main protagonists were scared by this and the fact that the two had to see this is harmful to be witnessed. This moment was even how Bender, Anti Cosmo and Hughie get involved in the situation as The Duo decide to bring in Bender to aid Peacemaker, Eleven, Wednesday, Will, Lincoln and Lydia in this investigation. On top of all this, This was something that even Lydia and Lincoln couldn't in the right idea fully keep this from Team Free Will and struggled with trying to owe up the truth.

Double Life Emerged[]

The Entire 12th Episode of the story line[]

If there has any truly intense dark and serious moment that deserves the Top spot for it in Phase 4. It’s going to be the 12th episode of D.L.E.

This Episode is all about the final episode of the front half of the storyline, and it doesn’t not hold back at all with how nightmarish and scary it got.

Milton Midas is Bender’s worst enemy despite appearing only here, and he shows it here. He outright assaulted Morgana in the most disturbing way causing a pregnancy. He betrayed and threw his own allies to the side turing some into rats and throwing some in jail including some of the heroes as well as Lydia and Lincoln’s families. When he was confronted by Bender for the former action, He has the Sheer gall to say he’s DOESN’T Blame Himself for what he did and that Bender who’s a robot should fully understand that morality and rules are not mandatory and that people just don't realize that without that, they can do anything. He also gloats to Bender that he can target Dib, Lizbeth and the others as well if Bender doesn’t back down, as he discovers the location of where they all are and kidnaps Gosalyn for horrendous ends. Midas’s own actions is why Bender kept the others out of his life regarding this and it does get worse considering Midas tries to cannibalize his own clients and sodomize Morgana’s boyfriend and his sidekick.

Doug Stamper kills Morgana by shooting her and did this to deny Midas of a win. This would eventually be paid back by Bender killing him in his other appearance.

Morgana’s baby was revealed to be a still born due to Midas’s use of radiation and contaminating her own food which is witnessed by Bender, Slade, Anti Cosmo, Luan and Harry had to see. The 5 also get into an argument what to do when it comes to the others. Luan calls in the story to insure it gets sent to the others. But worse, Her death was framed as a car accident which Bender discovers and can’t say because Midas’s corrupt cop Captain Putty followed him and is how Midas even knows of his connections.

The Cartel’s sheer influence is shown when they won’t even allow newpublishers to write anything on them and that Gosalyn went missing. Leon eventually discovers this from Deathstroke and has him go to help Bender.

Lincoln and Lydia also need to deal with Holden and the former almost drowns himself being droven crazy due to Holden’s torment of him. He is only saved, due to Lydia catching this and saving him, which is refereed back later on when it comes to bravery and being afraid to lose each other.

Leon visits Bender, Luan, Wile E, Stan and Dee Dee and learns what is going on and calls out Bender for not getting the others involved regarding Morgana. Bender and the others point out what really happened and why though Leon is insistent to insure that the others get involved. Then this is when Anton shows up and the 5 try to get Leon to leave, Bender even tells Leon they’re not joking and he needs to get his ass out of there and he has no idea what world he stepped into.

Once Leon realizes this, he is shot in the head by Anton in front of them which traumatizes the kids and the others are left stunted as Professor Chang shows up to talk to Bender with their next plan to use him, Slade and Anti Cosmo for their next power move.

What makes it the darkest moment is the following

1. The Sheer Brutality of Midas’s actions and how personal he makes it for Bender

2. Morgana and Leon’s deaths are among the most cruel ones

3. Puts Lincoln and Lydia in a bad spot which would eventually become a bit closer to the truth

4. The events are why Bender has to deal with The Cartel himself and on his own as a result of witnessing both deaths and what occurred with his attempt to tell the truth

5. Nearly everyone’s actions in the back half are motivated by this episode’s actions.

En.Tropized[]

N.Tropy kills Ford, Pop Pop, Myrtle and Lydia’s family[]

Murder is no stranger but the fact that N.Tropy killed Lydia’s mentor/father figure and famiy as well manipulating Lincoln’s grandparents death is in particular a punch. While it was to show to an extent the two leads being a year older had to begin taking a leader role and to change their lives. This was also to show how personal things got for N.Tropy and them at this point by having it being a personal and brutal loss for the two.

While Loss is nothing new, this causes both Lydia and Lincoln major grief and they temporarily work with the Streaming Resistance to get around this and even find their folk’s final letters and eventually read them to each other making it hammered in how much the two are going to miss their families and how much things mattered with it being hard to read for them, since it's the last words Lincoln and Lydia have from their grandparents and parents respectfullly

Part 5 will contain some of the most touching moments of the series too
