a InGen T. rex clone specimen
Tyrannosaurus rex is one of the most famous and well know theropod dinosaurs, and in 1990 the genetics company InGen lead by John Hammond and Lockwood would begin and successful clone a few Tyrannosaurus rex specimens. Its said that over seven T. rexes were cloned by InGen although six were left on Sorna to continue breeding and spreading, while only one T. rex called Rexy was brought over to Nublar to serve as the star attraction of Jurassic Park. The InGen Tyrannosaurus rexes were designed for tourism, as they have many traits and behaviors different from what their Tyrannosaurus rex ancestors would of had. The InGen T. rex genome was made by Henry Wu, mainly having a base T. rex gene but was giving the DNA of a African Spur Toad allowing it to switch genders to male to female or female to male in order to reproduce. The InGen T. rexes were also powerful, being able to break down powerful fences and even easily flip over heavy vehicles. The InGen T. rexes were also aggressive, and would chase or attack people mainly those who threatened them. The InGen Tyrannosaurs are like all animals and are morally neutral, as like any animals they act on instincts. The InGen T. rexes also mate for life, with a pair of T. rexes working together to hunt and raise young together. Like all InGen Dinosaur clones, the Tyrannosaurus rexes were able mature and grow faster and were also immune to inbreeding. The InGen Tyrannosaurus had poor eyesight, meaning that if a prey item stays completely still it won't be able to properly detect it. The InGen Tyrannosaurus had a amazing sense of smell, but it also had a amazing sense of hearing as it heard Dr. Grant joke screaming which caused it to chase down the group thinking Grant was a prey item in struggle. The InGen T. rexes were also extremely fast as they could keep up with with fast moving vehicles, but when chasing people that aren't fully running like Claire Dearing was sprinting the Rex saw no reason to fully run after her. The InGen Tyrannosaurus rexes are noted to be all over Isla Sorna, and only one specimen lives on Nublar.

Creation[]
The InGen Tyrannosaurs would created by Dr. Wu for John Hammond's Jurassic Park project, with the first specimen on Isla Sorna being cloned was the rex named Rexy. The DNA of the Clones were spliced or filled in the DNA of the African Spurred Toad because Hammond believed that birds or lizards wouldn't give proper dinosaur behavior since non of them were alive when the first dinosaurs evolved, although this would back fire and allowed all the InGen dinosaurs to breed. The Biggest T. rex was brought to Nublar while the other six were left on Nublar, plans to move a juvenile Rex into the pen with Rexy was made but all the dinosaurs escaped and the islands abandoned before the new rex could be made. In the end of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom there was a sample of T. rex DNA, meaning that Wu could clone more Tyrannosaurus rexes.
Hybridization of these Characters[]
The InGen Tyrannosaurus rexes was used in most hybrids in the JP universe and extended universe, this was because of how famous T. rex is and InGen's view of the T. rex as their star attractions. Below are all the Hybrids made with T. rex DNA
Indominus Rex - The Indominus had DNA of T. rex as its base gene and with the DNA of Velociraptor, Giganotosaurus, Majungasaurus, Carnotaurus, Rugops, Therizinosaurus, Pycnonemosaurus, Quilmesaurus, Viavenator, Deinosuchus, Cuttlefish, Tree frog, Pit viper, Unspecified number of modern animals.
Indoraptor - The Indoraptor was created by taking the DNA of the Indominus and adding more DNA, there was T. rex DNA in the Indoraptor but it was heavenly washed down.
Dilophosaurus rex - The Dilophosaurus rex was a non-canon hybrid produced by splicing Dilophosaurus and T. rex DNA.
Ultimasaurus - The Ultimasaurus is a non-canon hybrid and was designed and created as the ultimate dinosaur and attraction, its genome is made from T. rex, Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops.
Dinosaur Human Hybrid - One of the unused ideas for Jurassic World was dinosaur human hybrids, one was a T. rex human hybrid although it and all other human dinosaur hybrids are non-canon.
Robertosaurus rex - The Robertosaurus rex is a non-canon and unused Jurassic World hybrid of a T. rex and a Velociraptor, it was noted to be basically a "T. rex on steriods".
Omega 09 - Omega 09 was a modified Tyrannosaurus rex designed for a defense project and it was extremely powerful, Omega 09 is non-canon and is mainly a T. rex with the added genes of other animals.
Differences from the actual Animal[]

A InGen T. rex

a Scientifically Accurate T. rex / note: this recreation maybe outdated or become outdated in the future
The InGen T. rexes has many differences from their T. rex ancestors, mainly physically and behavior. The Biggest difference between the InGen T. rex and the actual T. rex is the head shape, with the InGen Rexes having larger more bulkier head. The InGen T. rexes also lacked soft tissue lips, which are believed to have been featured on actual T. rexes. The InGen T. rexes also had pronated wrist (Wrist that go downwards), while a actual T. rex would of had supinated wrist (Wrist that go sideways). The InGen T. rexes also have poor eyesight and can't see unmoving prey, actual T. rexes had amazing eyesight being able to see better than hawks and can see prey no matter the lack of movement. The InGen Rexes only hunted alone or in mate pairs, while its said that actual T. rexes either lived in packs or alone. The InGen Tyrannosaurus are also mainly featherless, while its said that actual T. rexes might of had small amounts of feathers (this is highly disputed in Paleontology though). The InGen Tyrannosaurs were also a lot faster, being able to run at 40 miles per hour. The InGen T. rexes also had different roars, having a more bolder reptilian roar.
