Tyler Galpin is the secondary antagonist of Season 1 of the 2022 Netflix TV Show Wednesday.
He is the son of Donovan Galpin and Hyde Francoise Galpin. He works as a barista at the Weathervane Coffee shop and develops an interest for Wednesday midway into the show. He is the accomplice to Laurel Gates's plan of revenge against Nevermore Academy and the killer in the Jericho monster killings.
His nature as a Hyde was hidden throughout his childhood until his mother died. A regular at the coffee shop he worked at, Laurel Gates revealed to him his Hyde nature as a way to control and unlock his Hyde powers. At the last episode of the season, however, Tyler reveals that he actually acquired control over his Hyde and serves Laurel voluntarily.
Tyler hides under a helpful, kind, yet introverted person facade. After confessing to Wednesday that he is in fact the Hyde, Tyler revealed a sadistic side, saying that he actually enjoys killing. He also likes to provoke Wednesday and takes pleasure in seeing her losing. Behind his calm and polite demeanor, Tyler actually hides a deep hatred for the Addams family and the Nevermore Academy after discovering that his mother was rejected for being a Hyde. He is filled with rage and desire for revenge, which is why he voluntary helps Laurel's plan and enjoys the murdering spree.

Prologue[]
Working with Victoria Von Gale and Marliyn, they cause a supernatural scene to happen as a way to keep Mulder and Scully distracted from giving any warning to Lincoln or Lydia.
Chapter 1[]
Part 3[]
Marlyin reports to N.Tropy that the federal agents are there. They also happen to be the adopted parents of that kid.
N.Tropy advises her to send Tyler in to try and maul them, if he can kill a few of the Lopez Girl's friends already, he can take these agents out.
The Hyde attacks and before it can hurt Scully, Mulder yells her name and tackles Tyler. Scully wakes up and saves Mulder by shooting at it. Mulder and Scully fight off and eventually capture The Hyde. They intterograte Tyler about what he knows about the Streamverse, who sent him and the explainations. Tyler holds off on the interrorgration, and that he mentions he is just acting under orders and was after them under his boss's orders who he decides to finger Spot respectfully
Tyler returns to Marliyn, The N.Tropies and Spot and tells them that he held off from what they did but he did let it slip about the Spider Frog and how Spot was the boss here. Alternate N.Tropy calls him an idiot for revealing that as it was their ace in the hole, N.Tropy reassures her that he got the final Virtumite agent as a way to deal with Jaune and the Spider Frog will do it's job
Chapter 2[]
Tyler and Marlyin return to Nevermore through Spot as they are going to resume their plans of dealing with the outcasts they tried before hand, He intends to go after Wednesday's friend Enid in revenge.
The Two are in hiding at Nevermore and tell N.Tropy that The Streaming Resistance has arrived there respectively. Though he wants to go after Enid, N.Tropy puts him in charge of the kids with Chandler. Marliyn assures him she'll take care of Enid and Wednesday
Part 2[]
Tyler shows up as the Hyde to maul the others and to keep them from stopping what Spot is up as he and Spot participated in the disappearance of Wednesday's family
He takes on Will Robinson and Hobie as the others do their jobs and while he fights a good fight. He realizes Will has some DNA on the Hyde Monster and figures Will will get to the bottom of this and Spot's plan and tries to kill Will sololy. Peacemaker's involvement stops this and he leaves to find Crackstone to retaliate against Wednesday.
Part 3[]
After his dealing with the others, he is currently in Trolberg with N.Trophy's forces ready to deal with Hilda and her friends respectfully heading to Hilda's apartment to go after Ruby and David after Volo's report.
Chapter 3[]
He and his allies tail and eventually attack Hilda and her friends using his Hyde form which makes for a tough fight with the heroes respectfully. He is facing off with Anders respectfully who uses what he does know on monsters like that to his advantage and with Hilda and David's help on top of that.
He nearly kills Anders, but he is foiled by Hilda's pets who showed up to stop Tyler from doing so. He fends them off and he does get overwhelmed but he has done his job to Crocker respectfully to putting them on the run. Tyler and Crocker decide to wait respectfully for their next move as Hilda and her friends make their escape on her pets.
Part 2[]
Tyler is sent to deal with the heroes respectfully, Marliyn sends him go to go after Hilda as she's alone.He chases Hilda as she cools down and intends to wear her out to kill her. He does cause her to panic in fear and leave. Tyler then watching her escape the forest decides to puruse her mom and dad
Afterwards, Tyler runs afoul into the the rest of the heroes and make many secret attacks on them until it goes noted by Jaune who fights and hims off respectfully so he and the others can find her. Tyler then is told to leave as Spot and N.Tropy are setting off the denonator.
Chapter 4[]
Francis approaches him with a plan of his own to make another attack respectfully on one of the universes to take over from the Resistance. Knowing his ability will come in handy to keep things under control
Part 2[]
Tyler and Marliyn are joined by Chandler in their attack on Boss Baby's Universe and help Francis with his whole plans respectfully
He comes face to face with Will and Blinky respectfully with Marlin and face off with them to stop them. Though The Robot also assists in dealing with the two respectfully and Tyler is injured in their fight respectfully forcing him and Marliyn to leave
Chapter 5[]
Tyler and Marliyn discover the mutiny that Van Gale has gotten Chelesa, Crocker and Polly Sparks in against N.Tropy and attack Van Gale and bring her in with the others so Moro and Volo can have them killed for being traitors
Galpin learns that the group is heading back to Flying Rhino Junior High and he decides to follow suit to go after his fellow traitors after learning they were indeed alive
Tyler and the others all head to follow suit and arrive at Flying Rhino Junior High but the others have already gotten there and he ends up with his allies getting attacked by Team Free Will and all the others. He is killed by Wednesday respectfully who finally takes her revenge on him.
