Turan-Doe

Turan-Doe is a parodic homage to Turandot, as written by Jacob Scrooge, in a Chinese libretto. It follows the story of deer princess Turan-Doe, Camelaf, Pu-Tin-Panda, Ottering, Otterang, and Otterong, Kangaliu, Temur, the Persian Cheetah Prince, a local Mandarin Tiger, and Emperor Agoutium. It features a famous Nessun Dorma-style parody aria, "Nestun Dormouse". The opera premiered in Coronavirus-free Narnia, then Middle-earth, where it was translated in Sindharin.
