Toad is a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom and one of Princess Peach's most loyal and trusted subject. He is one of many Toads who are common residence of the kingdom. Toad has made many appearances in almost every Mario game, being a support character, a playable character, and a collectable to find and/or rescue. Toads are not exactly the strongest and some can be quite cowardly. They are too often standing around, not sure what to do whenever Peach gets kidnapped and would tend to stand around and ask Mario for help. Some, however, would try to help Mario out, to which they would sometimes be helpful but not by a lot.
