Tingle is a reoccurring character in the Zelda series. He is very well known for his bizarre and flamboyant behavior. He first appeared in Majora's Mask flying around in a balloon, making maps. He is obsessed with fairies and believes himself to be one. He is also very childish despite him being 35 years old. His catchphrase is "Tingle Tingle Kooloo-limpah", stating that no one should ever copy it. He sold Link maps of Termina during his journey.
He has also appeared in the Smash Bros series, as his first appearance was in Melee at the Great Bay stage where his balloon can be popped. He's also very controversial and hated by many fans, especially when he bargains for so many Rupees or goes on those irritating fetch quests in order to progress at a certain point, such as in Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.
