The Starfox Team is a mercenary team and the main characters of the Starfox series. The team are adventurers-for-hires that only take on missions regarding justice in the Lylat System. It was founded by Fox's father, James McCloud.
The team consisted of James McCloud and his 2 comrades, Peppy Hare and Pigma Dengar. They were sent by General Pepper of the Cornerian army to take down Andross. However, during their final mission, Pigma betrayed the team, leading to James' death with Peppy being the only survivor.
Years later, a new Starfox team was formed, consisting of James' son, Fox McCloud as the new leader, Peppy Hare, returning to the team and new teammates Falco Lombardi and Slippy Toad. The 4 succeeded in bringing down Andross, ending his reign of terror throughout the Lylat System.
Soon, they had other members such as Krystal, ROB, and even Prince Tricky as an ally. Fox's son, Marcus, had also joined the group along with Peppy's granddaughter and Slippy's son during Starfox Command, as well as Peppy's daughter, Lucy. There's also Bill, Cat (Starfox 64), Miyu the lynx, Faye the dog (Starfox 2), and even Fara Phoenix.
Ultimate Story[]
The Starfox Team was a major part of Fanfictiondreamer's Showitious. Ever since she was 8, when her brother was recovering from the chicken pox before his middle school graduation, she got the N64 and Starfox 64. When he started playing, it affected her greatly ever since and she was afraid of the aftereffects as she can't get them out of her head no matter how badly she wanted it. Since then, the Starfox Team, especially Fox, became her favorite characters. And when she got Starfox Adventures during the Christmas 2003, after her bro beat 64 on Thanksgiving, it helped her so much when she was going thru middle school and dealing with an abusive teacher, barely making her pass.
Throughout the series, the team has been growing exponentially. Other members began to follow such as Misty, the Powerpuff Girls, Princess Peach, Rayman, Pikachu, D.W., Banjo and Kazooie, and Princess Beauty.
D.W. joined the team at the age of 4 after finding out how fast she was able to learn even the basic forms of their technology. She earned her pilot license at the age of 8 and was a full-fledged member of the team, still having remained as an active pilot even at 16, during the events of Ultimate Story 2.
Princess Peach and Rayman were old friends to the main quartet since Fox, Falco and Slippy had met them since they were in daycare; Peppy knew of their encounters, but sadly, they had to leave him.
Pikachu was part of the team since she's a close friend with Fox ever since they were trainees at Lisa's academy. She chose Fox and Pikachu, along with 10 others, as she was training herself to perfect her powers and find recruits for the Ultimate Destiny. Since then, Fox and Pikachu trained close together, until they'd been separated by a fatal incident. Since then, Fox was yearning to see her again, not until The Journey through Kanto. When Ash went to Pewter City, Fox was the first Gym Leader and reunited with Pikachu. After winning the battle, Ash agrees to give Pikachu to Fox on Saturdays while he looks for the 10 Pokémon Stones. Heck, Pikachu can also be used to power up his Arwing's weapons.
Misty, of course, first met Fox as she was doing her one-year fairy/princess training at Corneria. Lisa and Peach noticed that Fox became her best friend, and soon her love interest. She also began to bond with the other members, including Peppy who discovered her ancient mermaid powers as a legend passed down on Earth. At first Falco was doubtful of the guardian of the oceans, but he was soon convinced, even when he grew fascinated on her transformation. Slippy became a close friend to Misty, even when he gave her an explosive boomerang since he was into Earthlings and he's a friend of Jolly Roger. Krystal seemed to have a sisterly bond with Misty since they encountered her injured at Dinosaur Planet. Same thing with Tricky whom Misty admired.
Banjo and Kazooie eventually met the group after Misty accomplishes on training one of the DigiDestined, Kari Kamiya, at the Isle o' Hags for awakening her fairy prowess. She mostly bonded with Banjo and since Kazooie always goes with him, she brings them to meet her best friends. They became its honorary members since.
The Powerpuff Girls were sisters to Lisa and Maggie, and during her training creating the Academy, they soon meet up with Fox and the rest of the group and became good friends from there.
Princess Beauty, along with Tricky, became honorary members when the team left Dinosaur Planet after Fox and Misty bonded.
In the Starfox 64 Special, Misty, Pikachu, and DW assisted the team during the Lylat Wars. They had also been with Misty on all her adventures, and soon Fox's parents were resurrected after the sacred orbs were collected. Heck, Fox, Falco, Slippy, and DW upgraded their powers with the Aqua Jewels and soon attained Summons. Other than that, they became the main characters within the series.
