The Mauler Twins are a criminal scientist duo in Invincible, serving as the secondary antagonists of Season 1.
Not actually twins, Mauler is a mad scientist who always has a clone of himself around as insurance and to help with his fringe science experiments. Upon creating a clone, the Mauler Twins ensure that neither one of them knows who’s the clone and who’s the original. According to them, it never ends well when a clone knows they're the clone, since it would likely lead to infighting and resentment toward the originals as the clone is considered to be inferior. Consequently, this could drive the clone to terminate the original for its position.
War of The Streams[]
The Mauler Twins were hired by Slade and his allies to assist him and his allies in the their work. Due to their connections to the Streamverse, they come in handy and Slade has them accompany his allies while he deals with Underwood's forces
They assist their fellow Streamverse allies in dealing wth Underwood and the Cartel and manage to help free him from Underwood's containment.
