Tau Fire Warriors. Master at long ranged gun combat. Bad at hand to hand combat like almost every Tau.

Kroot Carnivores. The Tau Empires answer to hand to hand combat fighting aliens. When they kill their prey in battle they go to devouring them when the fights over. They use guns with Scythe blades as bayonets.

The Greater Good is a group and principal of The Tau Empire who are dedicated to bringing an order of tolerance to the galaxy by extreme means of their communism. Sending their water caste diplomats to negotiate treaties would be the non-violent way to convince species to join them. The subtle way is to brainwashing species with mind control devices or send them to reeducation camps to make sure they enjoy the company of working for the Tau and become treated as second class citizens.

They'll make sure there are less rebellions against them by performing experiments on the species involving sterilization that would lower the birth rates making it more easier to control handling them. The third thing that's gonna happen is send their forces to come killing them with force to make sure they surrender or die with the rest of the species becoming victims of genocide getting nuked for refusing to come acquainting with The Greater Good.

Vespid Stingwings. An example of a brainwashed species.

XV25 Stealthsuits. These mechs piloted by the Tau fight their enemies with cloaking technology that makes them invisible. They are armed with energy weapons and can fly with a jetpack.

XV8 Crisis Battlesuit offers speed and manuverability with equipment of energy weapons and missile launchers. It is equipped with a jetpack for flying.

XV8-05 Enforcer Crisis Battlesuits. These mechs piloted by the Tau aliens are much more armored and have more energy weapons equipped onto them. They fly with a Jetpack.

XV88 Broadside Battlesuit Mechs. They are one of the stronger mechs piloted by the Tau aliens and usually wield heavy railgun rifles and hold more protection with armor. This mech battlesuit cannot fly.
