The Governor, aka Phillip Blake (Brian in the comics), is a character from "The Walking Dead" comic book series as well as its AMC television adaptation. He served as the primary antagonist from Volume 5 "The Best Defense" to Volume 8 "Made to Suffer" in the comics while he served as the primary antagonist of Season 3 and one of the two main antagonists of the first half of Season 4.
