The Families are a team of gangsters from the GTA universe.
They appear as the Grove Street Families in San Andreas and as the Chamberlain Gangster Families in GTA V.
Grove Street Families[]
The Grove Street Families are the main character faction in GTA: San Andreas. They are lead by Sean "Sweet" Johnson, C.J.'s brother. They control mainly Grove Street, as their name suggests, Ganton, Idlewood, Glen Park, and others. They're the enemies of the Ballas and Vagos, and allies of the Varrios Los Aztecas and San Fierro Triads.

Chamberlain Gangster Families[]
The Chamberlain Gangster Families is a main character faction in GTA V, with Franklin Clinton being a member. They control Strawberry, Chamberlain Hills, Forum Drive, and Crystal Heights. They're the enemies of the Ballas(same as the Grove Street Families), Vagos, and to some extent The Lost MC. The only known major ally team they have is Trevor Philips Industries.
