Shadow-of-Sundered-Star (more commonly known as "Ur-Didact", with "Ur" meaning "original") is a major villain from the Halo Universe.
He is voiced by Keith Szarabajka.

He and the other first appear in the Elephant Graveyard that Grim Jr. and Purple People Eater venture into. The hyenas, under Phantom Blot's orders, chase them in an attempt to kill them. They plan to kill Simbia and Nala and corner Terra and Grim Jr. but are thwarted by Miracle Elite's arrival. They frightened off.
Didact then goes with the rest and joins up with Dormammu.

The Didact appears in Princess Luna and Agent Washington's flashback. He is responsible for the second death of Littlefoot's Mother.
The Didact will eventually appear in the present and will be the final antagonist in The Search for Rarity. Along with the Prometheans, he will also command the Nightmare Forces and Bagra Army.
