Kevin Moskowitz, better known as The Deep, is a major antagonist in the 2019 Amazon TV adaptation of the comic book series The Boys, serving as a major antagonist in Season 1, and a supporting antagonist in Seasons 2 and 3. He also appears in the animated spin off series The Boys Presents: Diabolical.
He is a member of The Seven with aquatic powers who is particularly well known for his perverted and opportunistic views upon women, something he later ends up correcting after being kicked out of the team. He is also an astraphiliac.
Countdown To Chang's Guide To The Galaxy[]
Chapter 2[]
The Deep joins A-Train and Homelander in attacking the Noceda House to arrest Sid Chang alongisde Bender, Anti Cosmo, Carmila. Vee, Libby, Lisa, Jessie Wells and Wile Coyote and Homelander has him help them with their attack.
The Deep battles Anti Cosmo, Sid and Wile E and uses his aquatic powers and enhanced abilites to fight the three. While he is a skilled fighter he is outclassed by Wile E basically finding a way to dry him up with an Acme Kit, and having Anti Cosmo and Sid use their wands to put The Deep through a lot of pain.
He continues to attempt to fight them, though Sid and Anti Cosmo trap him yet again with Anti Cosmo pining down with his powers and Wile E uses an ACME heat lamp to keep him from doing anything.
The Deep is down thanks to Sid, Bender, Wile, Anti Cosmo and Lisa beating him down, Homelander thinks about leaving him there, but he realizes he will need more help so he just takes Deep with him and A Train.
The Deep shows up interupting Luan and Spider Gwen while summoning his creatures to help attack them. Luan and Gwen both fight off The Deep and his brethen and Luan accidentaly electric shocks some, and she's stunned at this. Gwen notices too and Luan then turns invisible again randomly and this distracts Gwen who is sucker puched by The Deep and Bruno. Luan turns visble again randomly and then the vechile crashs and Luan and Gwen jump off and webs forms on Luan's arm pit shocking her again and the two gilde down to where Captain Hero and Harry are
Harry and The Boys realize that Bruno Mannheim and The Deep after looking into the box that they were shipping Compound V and that they were smugging it and that Harry feels that Homelander is setting something up as do the Boys
Homelander, A Train and The Deep are in further contact with The Smoking Man and the latter is preparing for his plans as he has gotten into contact with Vladmir Makarov who will help them with his plans. He advises the Supes to keep an eye on Makarov incase he tries something else on them. Homelander agrees, he tells CSM about Bruno Mannheim and The Deep loosing a crate of Compound V. CSM states the two messed up, he could have them killed but he needs them for the time being.
Chapter 3[]
The Smoking Man, Homelander, The Deep and A -Train are contacted by Lord Dregg and Thragg.
Homelander, The Deep and A Train mention their own encounters as well. The Smoking Man smirks realizing that Anti Cosmo, Bender and Slade are becoming aware of his plans as he is now aware of them. He sees an opporunity to reintroduce himself into the trio's lives.
The Smoking Man advises Thragg and Dregg to deal The Bad Guys they caught to the Pirates so he can more resources to follow with his secret operation.
The Deep and A Train ask him about his opeation, The Smoking Man states it's his operation not theirs and they will find out in due time.
Homelander tells A-Train and The Deep to just wait as it will aid them and Vought in becoming the ultimate calling power of the multiverse and allow super heroes into the millitary. He advises the two to keep an eye on Bruno as he is on borrowed time in case he fails again.
A-Train agrees and takes some of Compound V to use his speed as he has to while The Deep goes into the sea to scout.
The Deep is in the sea as well and he notices that Harrison, Luan and the others have The Compound V as does Jacob Hopkins who is tracking them with his radar. The Deep tells A-Train and Homelander that they have Compound V are intending to get rid of it somehow. Homelander feels that it looks they're attempting to get rid of their plan, A-Train and Homelander both feel going to the land may be more necessary than attacking there as The Deep can do so.
The Deep gets his sea friends to assist in their plan to attack Luan, The Boys, Harry, Captain Hero, Benny and Gwen.
Luan, Gwen, Billy Hughie, Benny, Captain Hero, Harrison, MM and Frenchie discuss what their plans are in regards to throwing away the Compound V. Each have a different Idea, Captain Hero and Mother's MIlk intend to just destory the crate, Hughie, Luan and Benny want to basically just use science to basically see how Compund V is created and find a way to tamper with it.
The Deep attacks with Susshi, Tornadon, Squishy them. All them of notice this and The Deep is here to get The Compound V Crate back from them
Harry, Captain Hero and Billy refuse to give it to them and The Deep sends the monsters to attack them.
The Deep angered by this goes after them and summons creatures to keep them all in hand as he prepares to finish this. Hughie and Benny manage to drive the submarine into The Deep and he tells his friends to finish the job
However his sea friends attack him, for some reason and everyone is techinally saved and it turns to be Queen Cleo. Luan and Harry recongize her and state how did she find them. Cleo states she was aware The Deep was here and she got help from Shark Boy or Shark Man as well as Lava Woman. Shark Man arrives and chases off The Deep.
The Deep, Homelander, Lord Dregg , Jacob Hopkins and A Train are all outside the island with Homelander leading the attack with A Train, The Deep and Lord Dregg all intent to capture them.
Cleo is targeted by Jacob Hopkins who wants a mermaid for his collection, The Deep sends his sea animals to catch her, Cleo summons her own sea army to take on each other as the two go head to head with each other, With The Deep being made a joke at the hands of Cleo's new powers and her stronger sense of her selve. She washes away the Deep with his own creatures
Chapter 4[]
The Deep spies on the group and reports this to CSM and Homelander as he was observing their whole conversation about heading to Royal Woods and he helps ambush the group with Hopkins. His Comments and his actions result in Harry, Cleo, Lava Woman and Shark Man clobbering the hell out of him and only escaping due to the code and he manages to save The Smoking Man
Chapter 5[]
He is informed of where Slade is heading next by Captain Putty and A-Train and this is where he joins them in heading after him. They Arrive at The Ice Berg Lounge and the group use this as a cover to foil Super Villain work.
They arrive to bring Slade's allies to justice, as a way of topping an evil empire. Engaging with Slade's forces, The Deep has his sea creatures attempt to go after Slade's crew and bring them in. This fails as The Deep despite how much he has been fighting Slade's Empire underestimates what they can do without Slade's personal instructions.
Afterwards, He and Homelander agree to dismiss A-Train for his failures as they gave him too much chances.
The Deep joins Blackfire in going after Bender, and he is given the dark balls to capture Lugia and Ho-Oh for their group, though he does settle for capturing some water pokemon. With this capture, he ambushes Bender and his crew with them on the trip to the Whirl Islands. Using his Dark Balls Pokemon, he sends them to attack the crew, and Sid doesn't allow this and uses her own off screen captured pokemon to deal with this.
Chapter 6[]
The Deep spies on The heroes as they find A Train who is after Homelander in revenge for kicking him out of the Seven just like The Boys and Starlight. The Deep reports this to Homelander who decides to kill A-Train, though Deep just asks why he didn't do this earlier. The Deep informs that Bender and Anti Cosmo have Celebi as well so Operation Countdown can be countered by the crew so they will have to do what they can to fight back. Homelander isn't worried in that The Boss has Dialgia and Palkia under his control.
Finale[]
The Deep goes after Cleo, Celes and The Boys respectfully for Homelander and is killed at their hands, though Cleo takes his marine friends and decides to take care them to insure they're safe.
