The Dark Dragon is an extremely powerful dragon who became evil. He is considered the number one threat to the magical community and an enemy of non-magical people.
He is a power hungry dragon who attempts to wipe out humanity and any other mythical creature who gets in his way. He attempting to offer a deal to Jake, whom he seems to have an interest in him, a chance to join him in conquering the universe, yet Jake refuses and defeats him with help from Fred Nerk. Later he kidnaps Lao Shi, Jake's grandfather to blackmail him into joining him and his minions. However, Jake, with help from friends and family, defeat him and he is seemingly killed when he gets crushed by rocks. However, he survived the crash, and he grabs Jake with his tail, hoping to take Jake with him through the portal. In the process, Rose cuts the tip of the Dark Dragon's tail, which gives Jake and Rose the chance to escape. unfortunately he was released by Babidi and offered him joining him to make his goals and get his revenge against Jake and The Dark Dragon accepted.
