Tek Knight

Robert Vernon, also known as Tek Knight, is a supporting antagonist in Season 4 of Amazon's 2019 adaptation of The Boys and a minor antagonist in Season 1 of its 2023 spin-off series Gen V.

A renowned superhero and detective within the supe world, he has the ability to deduce and analyze people and environment to learn the truth. However, he uses his powers to destroy innocent lives out of enjoyment, and shows no remorse for his actions. Following Golden Boy's suicide bombing, he is tasked by Vought-International to blame a student from Godolkin University to keep "The Woods" a secret.

Later, he is recruited by Homelander and Sister Sage to help with their plans of world domination, as he controls a large amount of private prisons that they want to turn into internment camps for humans.

Part 4

Tek was following Slade's Empire in their trip to Oceanside in his Tek Mobile and he arrives with the intent to find the chaos bot's creator which he discovers as possibly A.C. Aychvak who he manages to kill to keep Harry, Celes and Jessie from finding out about this so he can give to N.Tropy and Victoria Neuman

He also ran into Marcy Wu and Hailey Banks who he was able to break to confess in what they were doing.

Tek Knight is also on the case that Hughie, Kimoko and Starlight provided Anti Cosmo with info to visit the foundation, As Dr.N Tropy wants to see who is really in on the massacre investigation. He is able to deduct to N.Tropy that Anti Cosmo, Hughie and Starlight have some invovlement here.

He hands the chaos bot debrs to Neuman and what he managed to undercover to her

Part 5

Tek Knight made way to the Aether Foundation to tail what Anti Cosmo is doing and sees him with Bender, Lincoln, Lydia and Dawn. Noting how they are trying to smoke out N.Tropy and his actions and he decides to pick more details. Tek considers capturing them for info here, though he knows that Anti Cosmo and Bender aren't so easy for him to tell if they are lying. So he holds off on it.

He changes tactics upon hearing on the Dupus Rovket being pulled out of orbit thanks to Z9 who drops him off to target Slade's group as that could lead him to getting Bender, The Boys and their friends. Overhearing Slade and his team talk, he tells Z9 that they are on to their boss and that things are starting to unravel.

Tek Knight was in the Woods which Myrtle and Sterling both had to be careful of apporaching them since they were aware of his show and how he is able to deduct truth and ruin lives as well as fear how he could expose them as Spies

As it turns out Tek Knight is revealed to have been who Neuman used to undercover more info on Bender, Lincoln, Lydia and Anti Cosmo to keep her hands clean from killing anyone or torture. Though she was aware of the 1st and last one for a while. Neuman hired him despite her disgust with him at times because she needed someone to match her opponent.

Part 6

Tek Knight has been in pursuit of Slade's posse and has been having the help of Angstorm Levy in this whole pursuit while he is at who allows Tek Knight to catch up to the group and the duo are able to catch to Slade's Empire. Where he manages to wring out some info out of them regarding Slade's empire, though some are more evasive when it comes to lying him which he is able to catch on to though as he admits Slade and Anti Cosmo like Bender are able to get one over him as he learns why they are so invested in keeping Neuman out of Vought's and why Membrane was put in charge.

Unlike most of Slade's foes, he does realize Slade used the opportunity to bug him with Sister Sage's help. The two decide to take advantage of these Batman like actions against Slade, Bender and the others.

Part 7

Vicky addresses Tek Knight about what he knows on the compound V when it came to Troy, Tek Knight asks if Neuman suspects he aided Putty and Zib. Neuman says no and Tek can tell she is lying and saying he didn't help Putty and Zib with anything regarding that jock and if she has a question ask Captain Putty. This she considers

Tek Knight and the Dupus Family are the ones behind the invitations send out and Tek Knight is not just intending to get rid of the heroes in Team Free Will but has designs against Slade and Bender's groups. Neuman tells Tek to back off from grievous harm on the kids. Tek and Fifi feel that she has gone soft considering her time with them. Neuman says that she is being practical in grievous harm will be consequential. As the Dufus and Tek send out the rest of the invites for N.Tropy to use and this is reported to him. Through the other supes, Tek used them to on Sister Sage's words to slip an invite to Bender's team discretionally and some point also did for Slade's empire as well. This he did when he worked with Levy to go after the Jolly Roger and planted two of them there too incase the first one wasn't found. He also had the Boys invited to his manor as well as part of his plan that he decided to have Cate help with this, despite his abilities and deductions skill, Neuman found out about Bender and Anti Cosmo's involvement with the first supe Solider Boy without his help.

Part 8

Tek Knight and The N.Trophies set up the arrangement for his party and the plan Tek has with the Supes to go after N.Tropy's enemies as well as his own adversaries. He is also a target of Interspy due to his affiliation with Fifi when it comes to his plans which Interspy had discovered with Carmen and Juni having discovered upon resurfacing. He ambushes the Streaming Resistance later on and sweats the info of what they know from the SHetty Virus for Neuman and learns Bender and Anti Cosmo were able to acquire it and hand it to Professor Membrane and Lisa Loud which he reports to Neuman later on and that they will need to know where the Louds live and Neuman tells him, she already knows where they live but knowing them they are likely a step ahead.

Tek Knight sets up his manor for his get to together. He does note that the camera seems not to be working and he deducts Slade had an hand in this and informs the N.Trophies and Neuman of this. He feels Bender is now very much going to go have him and Neuman now with Slade's backup plan with Anti Cosmo in tow with N.Trophies noting how the OMENS were sent to kill them. Tek Knight tells N.Trophy that he is dangerous like the kids, and that Neuman brought him was for his intellgence to match wits with Bender as well Anti Cosmo and Slade, though he admits he can't catch Bender in lies unlike most people he comes across saying how he is like Rodirgo Redneb in that respect.

Part 9

Working alongside Sister Sage this is when them and their allies set up their plan now with the heroes entering his property. He and Sister Sage have been discussing matters with the N.Trophies and agree to betray Victoria as she is getting too close to compromising his mission. Knowing she is a supe, he and Sister Sage decide to reveal this to everyone using Fire Cracker's internet followers and occupation to do this. He still intends to reveal Bender's actions against Vought regarding Payback, though he switches the files to take care of Neuman's attempt on him first knowing she has to put the cards on the table.

Tek Knight then notes and observes Lincoln and Lydia and notes that they are sparing her life and he tells N.Tropy, he is only upset he had to put his Manor up as a safrice play. He did have to put everything in the Tek Cave and is quick to notice how Bender and Anti Cosmo have under covered info on him too like Neuman like Slade and notes he is now in the same position Vicky is with them.

Chapter 4

Tek Knight has taken over from Neuman's own forces as a result of Neuman being outed by N.Tropy. As a result Tek works on insuring the demises of Bender's friends as well as Slade's Empire and The Boys. Through this he has an idea to help N.Tropy with his plan as he managed to discover Slade was working on something grand for the best of the multiverse and he tells The N.Trophies of this.

He schemes to insure the arrest of Bender and his team do by having Firecracker set up for death due to how he looks down on people like her. While this goes as planned, they lose Black Noir II, and he decides to show this to Putty and Zib to do just this thought this doesn't go as planned. He also intends to have A-Train and Maeve put away for betraying Vought as well as Neuman when she shows herself.

Chapter 5

Tek Knight decides to follow up Bender and his friends as they meet ground with Slade and The Boys to inform N.Tropy of what is going with them. He informs N.Tropy that he better fire now before they find Team Free Will and The Streaming Resistance which he agrees to.

Chapter 6

Tek Knight returns to N.Tropy later on and when it becomes obivous the heroes stopped him, Tek Knight and The N.Trophies try to look into how to bring down Team Free WIll, The B Team and Slade's Empire. He eventually has an idea how to do this, noting back to the Solider Boy incident gives him an idea how to do this.

Book 2: Interlude

Tek Knight has began making a plot of his own to bring Bender and Deathstroke's dirt to like after learning of Bender's connections to the president and decides to assist N.Trophy and Redneb in framing up Bender to force him on the run with Captain Putty's help. The Two are also schemeing to have M.O.D.A.B captured and use them to sweat any info on them, his plan goes as he intended and he intterogrates Dib, Bubbles and Boomer upon their capture to spill info on Bender to them as he can't tell when Bender is lying. Though Tek can tell how to get to him, and while he fails to get info he does pick up on something. Tek Knight discovers the bug and presents to his superiors and that Bender was on to them all along and must have had someone plant it and that he must have called them at some point. Tek Knight and Captain Putty though fail to find out if he was really the one who did as they discovered he used a burner phone.

Tek Knight though does find some of Deathstroke's own associates and manages to sweat info of them being former allies of Eobard Thawne and engaging in changing the multiversal both literally and metamorphically. He also discovers Bender did know about it too. He reveals this info to the press and uses the unquestionable info he has to do this, which results in the President having to go on the run and oversees Mulder and Scully's commitment.

Book 3: Culmination

Tek Knight and Sister Sage plan out their plan to Lobotomize Mulder, Scully and the Louds and he is able to get a noticeable amount of info out of them about dealing with Lincoln and Lydia. He then figures out an attempt to strike at Bender now that The B Team and Slade's Empire are split and works with Zib and Captain Putty to insitgate an attempt to imprison Bender, Luan, Anti Cosmo, Libby, Anne and Sprig and tries to take a drastic approach by trying to crush Anne and Sprig, though he isn't able to do so. Tek Knight is able to tell something is with Anne and reports this to N.Tropy on this.

Book 4: Falling Climax

Tek Knight and the others make a final stand against Bender, Slade and Hughie's group and he is intend to insure he is able to get them all arrested or worse by destroying their lives with the envidence he has aquired, though he is killed by Bender and Starlight with the others to insure what he has gathered never goes out public.
