Team Avatar is the name came up with by Sokka for the main characters of Avatar: the Last Airbender. The team was founded by Aang, Katara and Sokka. Although, the team name was not well-liked by the others with Katara saying that it will never catch on, Sokka ended up using it again, anyway.
The team eventually consisted of Toph, Zuko and Suki later on. The team continued on after the series finale into the comic series.
Ultimate Story[]
Team Avatar made its first appearance in Ultimate Story 3 when Fox and his friends arrived within their world. After saving it from the Rifter, the team became members of the Acolytes of the Mystics. They eventually joined forces with the Xiaolin Dragons who would eventually come together with them to form the Woofoo Alliance after finding Jak and saving his world from the Rifter.
In Powerful Harmony, Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-wan and Padme became members of Team Avatar. Ahsoka liked the idea but Anakin wasn't crazy about it. Regardless, they stayed together and remained on as proud friends and allies of the young fighters.
