DC Super Hero Girls Steel Jaw Continuity timeline[]
Steel Jaw X serves as the main villain of DC Super Hero Girls season 3 and its finale movie. However, his appearance only exists within the Steel Jaw Continuity timeline, which is an alternate timeline from that of canon and other fanon timelines. He is portrayed as the ruthless leader of the Steel Jaw Army and the most powerful villain in the DC Super Hero Girls show and required the combined power of many heroes and villains to evan match his power. He was ultimately defeated when the Steel Jaw Disintegration Ray invented by McTodd Steel was used on him. The ray vaporized Steel Jaw X and killed him.

DC Super Hero Girls Meet Justice League Action[]
In the Crossover comic, which is not canon to the main Steel Jaw continuity timeline, Steel Jaw X is transported to the Justice League Action universe. There, he teams up with JLA Darkseid as they plot to destroy all their enemies.
Adventures of Harley Quinn[]
Steel Jaw X from the Adventures of Harley Quinn show is portrayed as the show's main villain, as he has appeared in 3 out of 4 of the show's seasons and in the movie, Harley And The Justice League. He is first portrayed in season 1 as a scout sent to Earth along with another steel jaw, Carnage, by the Meltonians to build a portal to Melton, where the Steel Jaw Army would invade Earth. After having the portal he built destroyed by the Harley Quinn Gang, he sought to destroy the Harley Quinn Gang starting with Harley herself. However, this plan failed when Carnage chose to side with the Gang and fight Steel Jaw X which ultimately led to both Carnage and Steel Jaw X falling into a volcano. When Steel Jaw X survived the volcano, Harley used a fire extinguisher to freeze the molten form of Steel Jaw X and finally destroy him with a missile.
In Season 2, Steel Jaw X returns in soul form since his physical body was destroyed. He haunted Harley in her dreams and trapped her within her own mind. He was defeated when Harley took back control of her mind and banished Steel Jaw X from it.
In season 3, Steel Jaw X haunts Nega Harley and convinces her to build him a new body with the promises that he would help her kill the Harley Quinn Gang. However, when his body was built and he gained control of it, he betrayed Nega harley and knocked out both her and Harley Quinn before flying off into space.

Final form Steel Jaw X from HATJL.
In Harley and the Justice League, after arriving back on Melton and telling the Meltonian leaders about all the hardships he faced on Earth, the Meltonians decided to give Steel Jaw X an upgraded body, which was bigger and far more powerful than his previous bodies. He was also made the leader of the Steel Jaws. After gaining this power, Steel Jaw X ordered the destruction of all the Meltonians as they were no longer of use. He then ordered that the portal to Earth be built on Melton like it should have from the beginning if the Meltonians hadn't insisted on building it on Earth. When the portal was complete, he opened it to send the Steel Jaw Army to Earth. When Steel Jaw X 1st came thru, he personally fought a group of 5 heroes and managed to kill 3 of them before the 2 surviving heroes, Supergirl and Jessica Cruz, fled the scene. Steel Jaw X then had the army come thru and attack Earth. When the heroes of Earth fought back, a massive battle ensued. Steel Jaw X personally fought the Justice League and Harley Quinn Gang. He seemed to be unstoppable before Harley used the soul eraser ray to erase his soul and kill him.

Steel Jaw X from Galactic Chaos comics
Galactic Chaos[]
In the Galactic Chaos comic series, Steel Jaw X appears as one of the 2 main villains of the series, alongside iconic DC villain Darkseid. He is portrayed as one of the Galaxy's top conquering villains and rivals Darkseid for the title of most evil and dangerous villain. Steel Jaw X is shown to be able to fight and match darkseid in single combat and in some cases even beat the Apokoliptian ruler. This is most evident in their first meeting, where after Darkseid attempted to invade Melton, Steel Jaw X and his army managed to make Darkseid and his army retreat after Darkseid realised that Steel Jaw X had traces of Radion in his metal.
DCEU[]

Steel Jaw X in the World Invasion poster.
Steel Jaw X appears in the DCEU film Justice League: World Invasion. He is portrayed as a member of the Apokoliptian army who performed tasks for Darkseid. He doesn't talk much, only saying one word during his introductory scene. Steel Jaw X also received a major power nerf to the point where mid level heroes could damage him and got killed easily by Superman. This is often considered the worst version of the Steel Jaw X character as not only is he extremely weak in this version, but he also lacks many of the qualities that made other versions of Steel Jaw X great.
DCU[]
Steel Jaw X appears in reboot live action DC series after the DCEU was canceled. He serves as the main villain of the DCU's Chapter 2 saga, which preceded the DCU's initial Chapter One saga and makes several cameo appearances in select movies from Chapter 2 before being featured as the main villain in Justice League: Era Of Steel Jaws. This version has for the most part redeemed the character from his DCEU version as he is once again portrayed as the ultra powerful leader of the Steel Jaw Army which is capable of fighting the entire Justice League team at once. However, Steel Jaw X's design has been heavily criticized as he was turned from a simply designed metallic entity that strongly resembles Earth pliers into an ultra complex robotic being that only vaguely resembles a giant plier with complex transformations to use his various weapons and powers and requires numerous rocket boosters to achieve his motion rather then being a gravity defier like all other versions. DCU creators stated they wanted a more realistic version of the Steel Jaws and thought giant living plier aliens were too unrealistic for a modern hero movie.
Other variants[]

Steel Jaw X appears in a concept poster for the scrapped Crossover movie.
Steel Jaw X was set to appear in a DC Super Hero Girls and Marvel Rising crossover, where he would have teamed up with Thanos. However, this idea was scrapped due to the storyline being too similar to the DCSHG Meet JLA comic.
Steel Jaw X makes a cameo in the Trouble in Heroville movie. He is seen supporting DCAU Darkseid as he arm wrestles MAU Thanos.
