Sprig Plantar is a adventurous and curious pink frog and one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Marcy Wu) of Amphibia.

Chapter 2[]
Sprig was taken away from Hop Pop and Polly in part to repelling a massive toad attack and another human who was helping, this person turned out to be Lalo Salmanca. Anne and Sprig managed to get away from many of the toads, even beating a few down. But Lalo was one step ahead and actually threatened Polly and Hop Pop with a gun to their head if the duo don't' surrender, while chiding Anne for using a tennis racquet and Spirg for a slingshot. They lowered their weapons and Lalo lowered his and called in Grime to bring the two into camp. Luz tells Anne that that same toad was who arrested her, Eda and King as that he had a blonde teenager put magic dampers on Eda
Anne realizes that Sasha is with Grime still after their last encounter and that both Sasha and Grime are working for someone with knowledge on multiple universes, Sprig worries if Polly and Hop Pop are really fine considering even if Lalo did lower his gun, what could have stopping them from actually doing it. During the long sessions Marcy gets all clumsy and falls into a room where Luz and Anne go and the trio see a truly terrifying horror. They see a lot of Disney characters turned into trophies at the hands of the Toffee and the Cult as well as Many of their loved ones turned into trophies. Anne and Luz try to take some of the trophies but General Immortus just showed up and knocked them out with a stun gun. Meanwhile, Eda and King are working on a way to escape which is when a ninja named Ibuki reveals she found a way to escape and she overheard the rest of the team talking about their issues regarding Toffee and that they can escape with her at sun down. Which is when Anne and Luz are brought to them unconsciousness while Marcy and Sprig continue to work due to Marcy's clumsiness be punishment for her according to Morag and The Sergeant.
After escaping Anne, Cricket and Luz all come to an agreement on something, in that with Toffee and his group having taken residence in Big City Greens, Wartwood and The Boiling Isles they can't necessary can't go home to any of their world as it would to be predictable, So they must clear out the 3 areas of Toffee's cult if they are to get anywhere. Marcy, Eda, King and Sprig are in agreement with Ibuki deciding to help them out but also warning them that they might be more than what they are up to then just those 3 worlds.
Chapter 3[]
Anne, Sprig and Marcy are shocked at Sasha making an allegiance to Toffee and Bill Cipher alongside Grime with the former two figuring she was gone at their last encounter. Eda tells them to get used to betrayal that how she has managed to get through life so well and Ibuki refutes the trust no one Eda believes, which Eda calls her cute but native. Luz and King going back and forth with this start noticing Toads patrolling them and advise them to hide which they do except for Cricket who is posing as a toad with a costume making Eda facepalm in his idiocy as he is Chip's nemesis and Cricket is playing on his arrogance. Ibuki believes he wants to get close to Chip so save his family and Luz plays along to Eda's worry and she goes after the two.
Sprig and Anne lead the group by using the toad foot prints and running up ahead while Marcy, Ibuki and Luz arming themselves to dealing with the toads as they enter the Whole foods to see everyone imprisoned and chained in the stores. I-Rok and Fern are also there observing with the toads to make sure the people of Big City Greens do the work for Whistler to keep making money. The Group manages to get across half of the store without being detected until Marcy accidentally falls on something which alerts the toads and begin chasing the group. Some Whacks of a Tennis racquet, a slingshot later and a few are down for the court.
Anne is easily overpowered by Sasha who had a sword and Sasha decides to collect Anne for Toffee but offers her to go quietly so she doesn't die. Anne tells Sasha she doesn't care, she is disgusted that Sasha is working for a guy like Toffee who Sprig points out dresses like a lawyer as he does manage to blind Grime and Anne tells him to just find Luz. Luz is soon joined by Sprig who Eda managed to find and they decide to go save Cricket together. Chip and Glomgold lower Cricket into a shark trap where Cricket is tied up and hung with them almost succeeding. Sprig stops this with a slingshot which distracts the two. Chip has the frog attacked by his bouncers which Eda and Luz make quick work and Chip decides to cut his loses and retreats and Glomgold just throws Cricket into the shark trap though Luz saves him and they go back to retake Sasha and Grime when everyone flees from an explosion.
Everyone escapes and Luz and Eda are quick to notice King is missing. They go frantic until Anne and Luz hear King's voice and it turns out he is on Sid's shoulder and Luz thanks Sid for finding King. Sid explains that she was babysitting King and that they found some kind of power source being used by Toffee. Marcy and Ibuki probe Sid about what she knows about Toffee, and Sid tells them that she was stranded by a black hole from the cult where she was separated from her friends and she's trying to find them. Anne and Luz step up immediately to help Sid get back to her friends as they save the other two areas. Sid asks where are they heading now and Eda stated to the Boiling Isles where they were 1st and makes the door portal for them to enter.
Chapter 4[]
On the other side with Marcy, Luz, Anne, King, Eda, Cricket Sid, Ibuki and Sprig they arrive at the Boiling Isles and it turns the place has become a winter wonderland with record breaking cold temperature. This isn't good with Sprig who freezes over into a ice cube due to his cold blooded biology. Anne worrying that her best friend will die if he stays out here decides to find a way to reserve the extreme cold temperatures and investigate across the land, Marcy Wu Luz and Ibuki all decide to join her in her endeavor. This leads to Sid, King, Eda and Cricket to go back to the Owl House.
The Owl House was abandoned by Toffee and co after their escape so Eda reclaims her home and keeps Sprig near the fire hoping he can melt out soon while asking King to entertain Sid and Cricket. Sid is busy with some chemicals she precured from their trip to Big City Greens, King curious asks Sid what they are. Sid tells King that it's residue Pandora and she is working on a way to cure one of her friends' associates who attacked her. King warns that it could take effect of her while she's doing it. Sid reassures King that she is operating safety and it won't as she notes it feels more stable. Cricket brings up how Sid will even get back to her friends, as they have not any luck with any contact with any severs in the the multiverse. Sid and King both seem at a disbelief, Sid then just gets back to work asking King to help with her science, King asks what is science as he and Eda only know magic and Sid explains it to him. Cricket leaves the two and rests near Sprig's frozen self.
Eda and Luz go to find Marcy Wu and Anne with Eda using her magic to destroy the factory to save their home. Marcy Wu and Anne see all the ice and snow melt in front of them but to Anne's surprise one Ice cube isn't melting and shows this to Marcy. Marcy decides to keep this as she is interesting in the science right as Luz and Eda show up and bring them back to the Owl House.
Back at the Owl House, the group discuss what happened and Ibuki's tropization. The conversation goes to how to get Sid back to her friends
Chapter 5[]
Anne, Sprig, Marcy Wu, Luz, Eda, King, Cricket and Sid arrive to Newtopia with the intend of getting Andrias' help with getting Sid back to her friends and Marcy decides to meet him alone while the others wait outside.
Marcy gets back to Anne, Luz, King, Eda, Sprig, Cricket and Sid and tells what the King has assigned of her as well as the uprising and Toffee's involvement. Luz, Eda and Anne agree with this and decide to get ready for some action. Marcy decides to have King and Sid stay at Andrias' fortress while the rest of them all go on the offense. Marcy's Newt allies arrive and ask for her, Anne and Sprig join her with Eda, Luz and Cricket following suit. Sid asks King what they should do, King wants to get a bite and Sid agrees.
Luz, Anne, Marcy, Sprig, Eda and Cricket all notice the massive explosions and they see the toads and all the soldiers with weaponry and technology which Odalia provided. They split up as well with Marcy going her own way.
Sprig distracts Grodd to save newts from the gorilla's rampage and Blissina saves Sprig from being nearly squished and asks him what does he intend to accomplish with that. Sprig wants to stop the big monkey from wrecking a place he could been going in a few years. Blissina tells him to let her deal with the monkey. Grodd and Blissina fights throughout the university with Sprig saving the newts from the monkey and getting them to safety as he is quick to notice the new army coming to get the citizens as Spirg leads them to freedom.
Blissina observes and cracks a smile at the frog's bravery and decides to help Sprig save more newts from Grodd and Grodd decides to just leave and go after someone else. Sprig asks Blissina to take him to find Anne.
Chapter 6[]
Lydia, Lincoln, Ford, Cleo, Amanda, Rick, Cas, Crowley, Luz, Anne, Cricket Green, Blissina, Dawn, Ronnie Anne, Sid Chang, King, Eda, Sprig all wake up after their night.
Crowley shows up with stolen stuff from Newtopia and he tells Dawn, Sprig, Cricket, Blissina, Lydia, Lincoln and Luz to start getting armed. Dawn asks Crowley why, Crowley tells Dawn that they must be prepared for all possibilities and that a king must be ready, Sprig and Cricket both seem to agree with Crowley's kleptomania and take some. Blissina shakes her head in disappointment. As they all leave for the pirate ship leaving to Lydia, Lincoln and Luz
Lincoln, Ford, Amanda, Castiel, Blissina, Ronnie Anne, Luz, Eda, Sprig and Anne all go around the town to acquire what would be needed to fully cure the other 2. Sprig and Anne partially are fascinated with the island and Sprig wants to take a vacation here now that he knows of the multiverse. Ford tells them to focus they're not here to relax, although the nights may beg to differ. Eda hands everyone some lists of provisions for their work
Castiel and Amanda are doing some research on mermaids for Mako Island trying to figure out more about Emma, Cleo and Rikki's Mako Mermaids status. Amanda was a bit worried for Cleo admittingly and noticed her more bitter attitude and feared she would pick a fight with her and realized it came from Toffee abducting Emma and Rikki as they were her best friends. Castiel shows Amanda that he has found more about the nation itself and that Mako Island is were the transformations take place and that it might be the best place to use the cure.
Amanda agrees with Castiel and asks him that it does seem suspicious that they haven't seen the Weirdmageddon Cult around. Amanda feels even more suspicious that Toffee would know Cleo's home considering the abduction. Castiel thinks that Toffee is baiting the heroes into a false sense of security. Sprig and Blissina both come to the duo with all their stuff, Sprig got a lot of free things because people were freaked that he was a talking frog, Blissina points to him that frogs don't belong to Australia this is unlike their natural habitat. Sprig has been lost by that comment
Anne and Sprig snicker as they have pranked everyone and now they must wake them up. Anne picks her phone and puts on the alarm at max and has Sprig press it with his tongue. The Alarm goes off and everyone jumps. Cricket and Louise note they soiled themselves, Luz and Ronnie Anne both let a big one out, Rick notices he has been written. Lydia notes that Lincoln is lying on her lap and asks him to wake up. Sid and King finally wake up and Sid thinks she's bleeding and King feels he crushed an oppressor.
Anne and Sprig both get a big laugh out of this not amusing the others. Ford and Eda confirm they have gotten to Mako Island. Eda and Ford serve breakfast to the crew and Eda notes that they must have not slept well with Anne and Sprig giving nervous grins to all of them with guilt written all over them. Ronnie Anne and Lincoln decide to work together to prank them after this is all done. Louise wants to make them pay for their pranks, and almost socks Anne for it. Anne tells Louise it was a joke and Sprig states that she has a poor reaction to jokes. Sprig, Sid and King all find a perfect place to put Emma and Rikki in the moon pools, Cleo agrees with them as it's still the morning and that the moon won't have any effect on them. Cleo tells the others to drop them in
Chapter 7[]
Anne and Sprig are placed together and they are ambushed by sky pirates and Don Karnage who are fighting the duo and Don leading them against the duo. Anne engages with Don Karnage herself and actually has the upper hand, while Sprig is doing his own thing against the Sky pirates. Don Karnage keeps up with Anne due to his taller height and more experience as Anne's capability may help but not by much. Sprig blinds quite a few of the sky pirates by aiming stuff at their eyes and then simply just trips them over. Don Karnage tries to threaten Sprig, though Sprig doesn't let this by firing his slingshot at Don's face which Anne takes the time to disarm Don Karnage, though Don knocks her and Sprig over to even the odds. This turns into a grindlock fight where they trying to refrain each other and Sprig takes the opportunity to stun Karnage with a lick disgusting him and Anne knocks over Don and has him at sword lock where the Geki Clan smoke bomb the area and Don Karnage is gone.
Sprig, Luz and Anne comfort Lydia, Lincoln and Amanda on their loss as they were all close to her. Sid and King are upset as despite their actions, they still lost the girls and had Cleo and her boyfriend as an added bonus, Sid in particular is upset and can't focus on this with this and the fact Ibuki is working for Toffee and was involved in her death. Eda asks Ford what is he thinking of doing
Rick takes Sprig, Blissina and Louise and decides to find a new locale for their next move as he searches the multiverse for a ideal plan. Louise asks Rick what it's his plan and Rick states that they are still a few zodiacs short and that he has a good idea where to go.
Rick, Sprig, Blissina and Louise have managed to find the next locale in Gravity Falls. Rick indicates that this pretty much in the world Ford resides in and that they may have a better edge this time. Louise argues what edge, Rick states that despite everything it feels like their standoff with The Weirdmageddon Cult is rather even handed up to this point. Blissina agrees that despite everything the villains did, they have managed to keep up. Sprig adds that they helped before meeting the group so that's spot on,
Luz, Anne, Cricket, Sprig, Dawn and Marcy Wu discuss how to go further with this. Luz, Anne, Sprig and Cricket learn about Gravity Falls in part to Ford and Marcy Wu's research. Dawn and Marcy Wu feel that they may be finding themselves heading to Newtopia to help Andrias. Luz is more excited to travel in such a land and this is what Anne, Sprig and Cricket agree to, she wants to take the opportunity as soon as they get there and that they should ask Ford if they can. Anne and Sprig wonder why Marcy is needed by Andrias. Marcy states that Andrias has some more information about Toffee after their face off which he learned during his fight, Dawn asks did Andrias win, Marcy said that Toffee escaped but hurt. Marcy uprfront says Andrias hates Toffee to the point that he will actively take action as opposed to just sit there and that says a lot, while Toffee takes more direct and personal action against Andrias due to their former relationship.
Ford assigns Castiel, Crowley, Ronnie Anne, Sprig, Louise and Blissina to go find the zodiac with the 6 fingers, which may be on a hidden journal due to him being the one who wrote the jounrals. Once the portal is up and ready, Ford and Rick will send Marcy, Sid, Dawn and King to Newtopia per to Andrias' request. Eda assigns Luz to help Luz, Anne and Cricket to go looking for the pine tree that's part of the zodiac and they'll know it when they see it.
They feel that something is watching them in the forest with Sprig and Blissina both in particular are suspicious as Crowley is basically just smacking trees with a crowbar as they walk through the forest. Castiel, Ronnie Anne and Louise are all pretty much knocking on wood literally as they search for a different sound.
Sprig and Blissina basically state why does Crowley have to just smack trees instead of just feeling them why the other 3 do. Crowley justifies himself that he doesn't like to get his hands dirty and that it's better that way
Sprig, Ronnie Anne, Blissina, Castiel and Crowley continue their search for the tree when Crowley smacks a tree with a distinct sound which Castiel, Ronnie Anne and Louise notice and ask Crowley that he may have found the tree. Crowley smacks it again and this reaffirms their point. Louise and Castiel open up the tree and they find an electronic device that looks very old and has one of its two wires severed. Louise fiddles with some switches, a trapdoor opens up in the ground, and they find a mysterious journal.
Ronnie Anne tells the others that this must be the journal Ford was referring to and even shows them the 6 fingers on them. Sprig and Blissina agree with this, Sprig asks how they can even get that as a zodiac when it's stuck to the book, Blissina admits he has a point as it's just a mark. Castiel reassures them that Ford has a plan to do so.
Chapter 8[]
Sprig joins Ford to Mewni and they see the merge of Earth and Mewni. Upon Ford's request, King and co come to the Butterfly Castle and King joins Anne, Sprig, Cricket and Luz in going to the tapestry room where they see all the butterfly family tapestries.
After finding Toffee's finger they bring it with them in case Ford has a plan regarding it.
Sprig and the others head to the underworld with Ford and this is when Cleopatra shows up and tries to kill the team in revenge. Sprig helps the team fight her and using his slingshot to get some hits on him. Despite the help, Cleopatra knows Sprig's weaknesses of cold blooded weather and uses Hydro-Cryokinesis and then Cryokinesis on Spirg to freeze the frog again
Anne saves him and helps Sprig thaw out quickly as they continue to face off with Cleopatra. After Ford and Rick stop her, they travel to the underworld and the others acquire the Butterfly Heart
Sprig then escapes underworld and then sees Weirdmageddon going on realizing that Toffee has already succeeded and they go to find a place secure to the weirdmageddon spread which Ford did set up.
Chapter 9[]
Sprig, Luz and Anne play with Toffee's finger and Sprig messes with Anne a bit as a result with the finger. Sprig knows that the finger must be destroyed for good and gives it to Luz as she'll take it better.
As Luz puts the finger in her pocket, Sprig and Anne discuss how they should deal with Toffee and Bill Cipher and that they should listen to Ford as he seems to be one who has a plan. Sprig and Anne keep a eye on Ford as he sneaks off with Eda trying to stop Ford from engaging Bill himself. Eda asks Anne to keep an eye on Stanford in case he fails which to her is very likely. Anne decides to pursue Ford in the event it's needed.
Sprig lazily stays back and waits around for Anne and Ford when the two have being pursued by Zhan Tiri who was after them due to Ford's failed attempt to kill Bill and he tries to help Castiel and Crowley who stepped in to help save Ford and Anne from the demon.
Sprig and Anne after being told to leave the premises by Castiel and Crowley work with Luz, Eda and King to deal with Odalia and Alador Blight. Sprig tries to help the 4 fight the Blights and unlike Luz, Eda and Anne, he really doesn't have much of a chance against them and the abominations due to having a slingshot, though it eventually does come in handy for stalling the Blights and this allows them to bring the Blights to be arrested. Although Sprig and the others question who is Odalia swearing revenge against other than Luz.
Ford makes his plan to go after the two main bad guys and Anne joins Ford and Ford puts Sprig with the rest of the group. Anne wants Sprig to help Ford, but Sprig agrees with Ford and decides to hold off Toffee and Bill Cipher's henchmen
Chapter 10 (Final Chapter)[]
Sprig manages to save Anne from the explosion caused by the unstable power source and the explosions caused by Wile E and Harrison Wells. Sprig asks if Anne is okay and is relieved that she is. After some briefing, Sprig decides to agree with Anne, Luz and Cricket to stay with Team Free Will.

Chapter 5: Return Of The Heroes/Raven Beak Strikes Again[]
Joining up with Team Free Will to deal with The Unown, he was sucked into the wormhole that brought them into Raven Beak's oppressive rule. Learning from Ford where he is, Sprig looks for life respectfully and doesn't find much until Sid sees the E.N.M.I. Sprig tries to use his slingshot but it doesn't work respectfully which Ford and Bruce call him out on being careless. As they hide from it, Sprig agrees to help Ford, Sid, Bruce, Ronnie Anne, May and Luz deal with Raven Beak while trying to get back home.
Sprig is informed of the E.M.M.I and learning their purpose unsettles them but he does bring up a theory that they can be defeated, this Ford and Sid both agree on noting on how they looked. He and Anne decide to go looking for the nervous system connection to it after Ford explains his situation. Sprig notices it has found them and he is grabed by the E.M.M.I with Anne and Luz trying to knock him to safety, though Bruce does manage to save him by backhanding the robot. As the crew heads off to the room and manages to deactivate the nervous system which leads to the Omega Blaster being asssed. He tries to pick it up, but he can't which leads to Bruce and Ford being able to pick it up and they use it to destroy the 1st one.
He freaks out learning about learning about 6 more of them but Ford states that they beat one and they beat the others. As they look around, they end up running into The Fleet Commander and the 2nd one which they learn is unlike the others and The Commander sics the 2nd one on Team Free Will.
While they manage to lose the second E.M.M.I, it took a lot longer to get away from it and to get to the control room where Anne and Sprig deal with it and then the 2nd E.M.M.I. The Fleet Commander attacks Team Free Will and though he is resistant Ford and Anne manage to beat him respectfully. They start their hunt for the 3rd one which is the green, To her horror she is nearly killed by it during their chase as it can go in tunnels and it catches her, but Ford gets it off of her with a backhand counter and they head to try to find the 3rd control room. While a tough find it eventually is found and Bruce with May takes out the 3rd control brain. Sid then gets the Omega Blaster and after melting off the chasis, takes a shot and destroys it.
However this is when Psy-Crow and The Dominators arrive and capture them. putting everyone but Ford under the Dominators
Sprig is broken out of her control by Ford and Psy-Crow who decides to side with Ford helping him break the others out of their control and directing to where the 4th E.M.M.I is.
Joined by Psy-Crow, Ford, Anne, Luz, Sid, Bruce, Ronnie Anne, May and Sprig go after the 4th one which goes at super fast speed which becomes a challenge for them due to them not being exactly athletes. They were nearly killed but Psy-Crow manages to stop this and get them to the chamber room where the 4th control system which they manage to kill it. Being chased again, Ronnie Anne uses the opporunity to use the OMega Blaster to destory it
Venturing further, when they find the 5th one which is blue and it can freeze anyone that gets in their visual cones which is done to Sprig, nearly killing him. They manage to escape and once they thaw out the frog, Ford finds the 5th E.M.M.I Control room and has the others all go to destroy it. Before they can deal with it, Scroop and Kro go after them and using their wits, they manage to escape. after getting the Deviants off them and dealing a crucial blow to Scroop. This is when the 5th one makes it's move and Anne manages to destory it with the Blaster to avenge Sprig.
PsyCrow uses his secret bug to find out where the 6th one is and once spotted it fires a paraylzing beam towards Ford which nearly kills him and everyone carries him to get Ford to Safety. Though they destory it, they still have to deal with curing Ford of his paraysis. Sid takes the charge and destroys the 6th one, when asked of the last one, Ford realizes Raven Beak moved it.
Ford finally breaks out of his paraysis as the Martians arrive and kill Psy-Crow. After burying the Crow, the 8 of them go after the rest of Raven Beak's forces intending to distract and take out his forces. With Ford using his weapons, Anne using her sword and tennis raquet, Sprig his Slingshot, Luz and Sid using Magic, Bruce using his skill and Martial Arts, May using her pokemon and Ronnie Anne using her wit to deal with them
After dealing with the remains of his army a wormhole opens up and Sucks the 8 of them into it and this when they see Doc, Dawn, Lincoln, Lydia, Truman X and Selina who were working on a way to get them back to their timeline, after King told them about what happened. When told of what happened, Ford tells the others of what he and his 7 comrades were dealing with.
