Slippy Toad is a member of the Starfox team and Fox McCloud's childhood friend. He serves as the team's mechanic who is really good at what he does. Even though some people don't like him, he does serve as a useful member of the team. Although he can be annoying at times and he's not so much of a great pilot, this frog's got a heart of gold and is always willing to help out his friends no matter what.
Ultimate Story[]
Slippy has been part of the story from the very beginning. In the story, he has been friends with Fox since they were 4 years old. As they got older, Slippy became the mechanic to the team as well as their inventor.
During Ultimate Story: The Beginnings when the team first met Misty, Slippy was the first one to take a liking to her, even so much as gave her the first gift that she ever received from one of them: her signature hairband. From there, she and Slippy became fast friends.
When she revealed her special power and true form to them, it would be no surprise that Slippy was excited about this. During the pact that she and the team made to keep her powers a secret, Slippy happily took on that pact and had always been there for her no matter what.
During the events of Ultimate Story the Missing Link, he figured out how to use the crest on the back of his hand that was given to him by Ly. He was able to copy the power of the snake talisman which gives him the power invisibility.
Also, he was able to obtain one of the 4 Ocean Gems along side Fox, Peppy Hare and Falco Lombardi, with him obtaining Emerl, the Loyal Guardian. This gave him the ability to breathe underwater and catch up with his best friend while she's in her princess form.
