Showitious

Showitious is a obsessive condition named by Fanfictiondreamer to which someone has an ongoing obsession with fictional characters. These characters are often not chosen by the person obsessed with them and can often be unknown as to why that person is obsessed with them. There is rarely a direct way as to identify which character they would become obsessed with but depending on the person, they will be able to figure out what kind of character that person could become obsessed with. For Fanfictiondreamer, they are male characters categorized as serious or cool. A few others could be wise men who fall under the category of being wise beyond their years. They could also have something that greatly reminds them of one other character that she is obsessed it. Regardless, Showitious can be predictable if the person affected by it is able to figure out the patterns or they can take them by surprise if they could not find any reason to see it coming.

Sometimes, Fanfictiondreamer would come up with particular ideas for her stories as a way of coping with this and try to reduce it to where it's not too severe for her to live with. Such ideas involve pairing a male character on the list with one or more female characters. This has helped her a lot but some days can be harder to deal with than others. Her most recent attempt to deal with one of these characters was to come up with a fanfic for one game that he is in with him being the only reason why she came up with this fanfic.

A similar condition can also be highlighted by her former friend, TheIkranRider, and she pretty much has similar triggers that FFD has, those characters being cool, cute, wise beyond their years, or those that cause stress to the recipient. Some of them are subjective to change with the times, others stay with her throughout her life.
