Shadow Troopers are the soldiers of the Shadowrealm and the most basic unit of the shadow forces. They are created through either Shadow Essence or if a organic being is cursed with shadow magic. As their lives continue, they slowly begin to mutate into Pure Shadows, which are creatures made of pure dark energy who will also begin to evolve into Tanks if able to consume enough biomass from its victims. The troopers have extensive knowledge in firearm and melee combat, besting even some of the most highly elite soldiers in combat. However, some are also gifted in using magic attacks on their enemies, but only if the person infected was a unicorn or other magical being.
History[]
The Troopers made their first appearance in the Multiverse during the Shadow Wars, where they were used in combat by Delanis in his mission to destroy the Multiverse. Many were lost in the fight while others managed to evolve mid battle. They were later banished to the Shadowrealm after Kelris managed to seal the portal and its inhabitants away with a magical incantation. 500 years later, they reappeared along with Delanis to battle the Multiverse once again and claim victory over its destruction. 20 years following Delanis's defeat, Alkorin took up the mantle as king and revitalized the entire army, enhancing their armor and weapons, making them effective killing machines on the field.
