ShadowNet is a sub-branch of Third Echelon operating between 2006 and 2007. It was in operation during the Indonesian Crisis (2006) and the East-Asian Crisis (2007).
Originally, their mission was to locate the ND133s on U.S. soil and render them useless. In 2007, their mission goals became various based on information warfare, such as extracting hard drives and neutralizing data terminals containing computer viruses.
Dermont Brunton was the Operations Coordinator for ShadowNet in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, but it is unknown if he did so durning Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or if someone else, like William Redding, did.
