Sesshōmaru (殺生丸 Sesshōmaru?) is a powerful dog demon and feared throughout the feudal world. His appearance is equivalent to that of a 19-year-old male. While appearing human, Sesshōmaru can assume the form of a giant white dog and produces an acidic poison that is mainly released from his claws in the Dokkasō (毒華爪?) attack.
While Inuyasha's older brother, Sesshōmaru displayed an animosity towards his brother for being named by their father to have ownership of Tessaiga. Instead, Sesshōmaru inherited Tensaiga (天生牙?), a sword that can not harm the living yet can bring back someone from the dead only once. Because it was a weapon that could not harm, Sesshōmaru keeps the weapon as a decorative piece on his person for occasional use.
LOTM: The Angels Return[]
Sesshōmaru was after the Angels and Inuyasha because Naraku had taken Rin and would not give her back without the hearts of the Angels and the death of Inuyasha. However, Naraku only ended up backstabbing Sesshōmaru and absorbing Rin into his body!
Reluctantly, Sesshōmaru agreed to join the Angels and friends in hunting down Naraku, destroying him, and recovering Rin. Rin was unconscious when she was recovered, but Knockout was able to stabilize her condition, causing her to wake up and be reunited with an overjoyed Sesshōmaru.
When Angewomon invited them to go with the group, Sesshōmaru declared that he sought a place where he and Rin would never be separated again. As he sees it, that place does not lie with the Angels of Disney...yet, possibly.
