After the son of a marine biologist is shipwrecked on a on an iceberg, he finds a pink egg which hatches into the pink dragon, Serendipity. The two become best friends as they interact with the inhabitants of Paradise.

Multiversal and Metaphysical Details[]
Serendipity the Pink Dragon (from a feature film of the same name) has two counterparts in the Multiverse. One counterpart is simply named Serendipity. This version of her deviates in that the iceberg her egg was in was not encountered by Bobby. Instead the first creature she met was a walrus who saved her life from drowning (as despite being an aquatic creature she still needs to breath air and in her recently hatched state did not know how to swim. Without warmth from Bobby she also seems to have lost a bit of her memory and other knowledge this article's iteration of her had at birth). Serendipity was the name given to her by the walrus who guided her to the Island of Capri. This version of her (from Steven Cosgrove's Serendipity book) became the Protector of All Fish and the largest creature in the oceans (over 29.9 meters long at the time of her appointment). She was appointed such by the Leaders of All Fish, one of which being the Walrus who saved her (with the Leaders of All Fish considering Dolphins, Walruses, and Whales to be fish). She uses her size to create waves that wash trash onto the shorelines of the land from which it came and shows a concern for life having been taught by the walrus to always help when able. The second counterpart is named Serendipity and experienced a life very similar to this version of her. Except instead of a boy named Bobby being her friend the boy is named Kona and the two had more adventures then this version has had with Bobby though events remain very close (OOC: from Serendipity Stories: Friends of the Pure Island, a 26 episode anime from 1983).
