Selvaria Bles was the secondary antagonist in the 2008 video game Valkyria Chronicles and its 2009 anime adaptation.
She is voiced by April Stewart.
Appearance[]
Selvaria Bles is a 22 year old adult with past waist length gray hair and red eyes. She also a voluptuous and curvy figure with large breasts. She wears a Drei Stern commander outfit with open bare shoulders with a sword attached to it, She also usually has a short black cape with red on the inside. She wears black gloves, a golden sash, black leggings with yellow line details and black boots that extend to the knees with black armored pads with golden details.
When she is in Valkyria mode, her hair and eyes glow and become more brighter, with a blue flaming aura surrounding her.
Personality[]
A proud, noble, yet distant woman of twenty-two years who serves Maximilian with absolute loyalty as a part of the Drei Stern. Selvaria is cold as she is calculated, this has many fear as a frightening soldier. Though she tries to put on a facade of being a cold, ruthless military commander who is solely committed to the Empire's cause, but Selvaria's true motives are shown for her weakness for Maximilian or of his true nature.
Her devotion towards Maximilian comes from the fact he rescued her from her life as a lab rat. However it is revealed that his father, the emperor, was sponsoring the research facility responsible for experimenting on Valkyria, and that Maximilian did not rescue, but bought her from the facility. Which, considering her age when this happened, did not require much convincing. She was reduced to a simpering emotional wreck around Maximilian, when he orders her to become a suicide bomber, she reacts to this by straight up bawling.
She has her strict but caring attitude towards her soldiers. As shown when she "begs" Damon to have the Squad 7 Militia escort her personal troops as POWs out of Ghirlandaio. This saves them (and her men) from her Final Flame.
