Saranoia is a witch and an enemy of Yin and Yang. However, she seems to like and favor Yin a lot, doing all sorts of things such as give her special treatment. Although, she hates her brother as well as have this ongoing habit of hating all men (even though she went on a date on time) due to her childhood. As a young girl, she was forced to study all the time by her father while her brother, Mark, could do whatever he wanted. This caused her to developed a lot of severe psychosis that she clearly can't hide.
She has special wands that can change her forms as well as have unique powers. However, she would have to abide by the rules of the different wands, such as when she uses the broom wand, she is subjected to being a house maid, doing all sorts of house maid stuff like chores.
Her sidekick is a gnome named G.P. who at first was just a side character until he acquired some evil energy, making him evil, during which he goes to Saranoia a few times to slam her, something that he clearly enjoys doing.

Saranoia made her appearance before Yin, Yang and their new friends as an enemy. She shows off her psychosis to her enemies uncontrollably while ranting about how she was treated as a child. Even though Jak was aware that she is one of Yin and Yang's enemies, he feels sorry for her and does offer to help her out.
