Sam Riordan

Sam Riordan is a major antagonist in Season 1 of the 2023 Amazon Prime TV Series, Gen V and a minor antagonist in Season 4 of its 2019 parent series, The Boys.

He is the mentally ill brother of Golden Boy, and while not initially a villain, Sam eventually develops resentment towards non-powered individuals after being a test subject at the Woods and patient at Sage Grove Center. His resentment escalates to a riot against innocent non-Supes with Cate Dunlap. He has superhuman strength and superhuman durability.

Part 1

Sam as well as Cate Dunlap are recurited by N.Tropy and his alternate counterpart's right hand Victoria Neuman to assist with their plans, promising a new place in her world when she becomes vice president and when she becomes president. Sam and Cate are hesistant to help a normie, but Neuman says she's a supe just like them as she has the ability to control blood in a person's body. She gets them on her side as she reveals what Vought's new leader Professor Membrane has in mind for them which she discovered.

Sam joins his other allies to go after Slade's crew on Sister Sage's orders and fights off Warrior Monkey and Jesse Wells considering the similain's own strength.

Captain Putty and Zib joined by Sister Sage, Fire Cracker, Black Noir II, Cate and Sam all arrive on the chase for Bender and his team. Putty says that the robot is clearly deciding to go against Neuman despite the threats and armed with the seven and Vought he can finally get his revenge

Part 2

Captain Putty and Zib meet up with General Z9 who work alongside Cate, Sam, Black Noir II and Firecracker to set a trap for Bender and the others knowing they will arrive here. Z9 has his martians stand by, this gets Putty and Zib's curiousity as they thought Z9 lost his forces, General Z9 had to get them reworked and now he has business with Slade.

Cate and Sam help put the final touches to Putty and Zib's ambushes using their powers to help with Firecracker preparing a GlOCK to go shoot them.

Cate, Putty, Sib, Sam, Black Noir II and Fire Cracker finish up and decide to wait.

The arrival of Cate, Sam, Fire Cracker who tries to shoot Marcy and Black Noir II. Captain Putty says to say Hi to his new friends that he and Zib have. Bender shoots Sam to distract Cate and then saves Libby.

Hailey goes against Sam and she has to use her own athetlicism against Sam due to how strong Sam is and his resistence makes it hard for her to land an actual hit on her. So She has to start thinking and sees an idea. Hailey knows it's lethal but she may have do to so

Bender, Marcy and Captain Hero are still going as Bean and Hailey have been put down though they have managed to deal with Firecracker, Sam and Black Noir II

Part 4

N.Tropy and his Alternate Counterpart discover info was leaked into the woods where James Rogers is and the duo decides that they might as well take the opporunity to kill them right then and there. Sister Sage decides to set an attack with the rest of Vought and Sam joins up with this

Part 5

He joins Fifi Dufus and Captain Putty to go after Anti Cosmo, Bender, Lincoln and Lydia who are all looking into the woods where he was experimented on. He joins Ham Hand to go after Peacemaker and his allies on Fifi's allies. Though he proves to be a powerful foe, Peacemaker manages to be a tougher opponent and they fight evenly. Despite his deliriousness, he almost kills Will Robinson until warm water dumps on him that Penny and Peacemaker managed to do and this peaks his curiosity secretly. Wednesday decides to kill him despite his power by burying him in debris for hurting Will and Penny as Fifi decides to destroy the Woods. However he is saved by Fifi Dufus who also saved Cate as well and Sam thanks her tearfully for showing him kindness and saving him.

Part 6

Sam joins General Z9 has made his arrival to the New Mexico locale and  decides to split the work just like how Bender did so for them. He and Captain Putty decide to go tail down Bender and his group where as Cate, Sam, Black Noir II and Fire cracker go to Lalo's House to tail Bean. They manage to ambush Hailey, Marcy and Cleo and the results of what happened are left at the time ambiguous.

Part 7

Sam with the rest of the supes attacks the heroes and being as strong as he is he causes a good deal of trouble though he does end up being dispatched by Hero, Cleo and Marcy who despite knowing his powers are able to fight back against him and render him unconsciousness for the time.
