Ryuji Sakamoto is a playable character from Persona 5. He is a student at Shujin Academy who lives a double life as a Phantom Thief.

Chapter 4: Dread The Unknown[]
Ryuji, Morgana and Ann are brought in by Ren after the arrival of the heroes in Japan as Ren decided to bring his other friends to Japan. While questioning why they're back, Ryuji and Ann learn that The Mawkin Guard were putting on the defense, and Ren needed to save his girl friend
Morgana gets into a fight with him over this and Ann stops them from doing so, as he with the other Phantom Thieves meet Lizbeth after she receives her full rest.
He meets the others and he decides to help the heroes deal with their sitatuion. He and Lizbeth discover something and they work with Ren, Allen, Morgana and Ann to find it. This does mean dealing with Morgana who he doesn't like respectfully. He is ambushed by alien bounty hunters where he takes on the Yolkian Commander and his Yolkians who are after Mooncake. He is briefed by Lizbeth and Ren are what it is aftewards
During the first week of their academy, Ren helps train Kelly for a rematch against the upcoming Mawkin Guard. While suspecting like Morgana that someone leaked info if the Mawkin Guard found them there. This is eventually proven through Kate Bishop and Spider Noir.
He and the others discover what happened at Lizbeth's home and what Lord Commander arugably did, he suggests a way to drive off the forces Lord Commander has as they try to think out on what to do.
After this they are met by Kate Bishop who he notices and gets distracted over though he rebounds fast, and learns that the corrupt politican Shido is involved in this Mawkin Guard thing. With half of the group going to get the Tesseract, he stays with the rest of them and ends up dealing with attacks from Edgar The Bug, Pre-Vizla, Psy Crow and The Betty Clones. These multiple attacks leave them tried as that was the plan Raven Beak had in mind.
Rjuji and Cassie discover the full extent of Lord Commander's plan and are a blend of shocked and unfazed at this with Mooncake who he keeps with himself personally.
Ryuji and the other thieves decide to deal with Shido respectively as the other heroes deal with Lord Commander and his allies. He manages to help expose Shido with Ren, Ann and Morgana. Afterwards, he and Ann learn of Lizbeth heading off to deal with The Guard, Ryuji and his friends decide to go and help them respectfully.
Ryuji arrives with the thieves to help out the invasion and he follows Ren to help him with Lizbeth, which he does with Spider Noir. Though he is upset that Raven Beak got one over him sadly for them as he decides to let the others crash in with him as well as Ann for the time being.
Chapter 5: Return Of The Heroes/Raven Beak Strikes Again[]
Ryuji has laid low with the others and worked to live his life with the others while helping his friends with their everday life. Ryuji gets back into action respectfully when Raven Beak distorts time and makes his presence well known.
He and the others decide to take action with Noir and Kate Bishop discovering what they found on The Mawkin Guard and they go after Raven Beak's men which comprises of Gravtik leading them and The Skrulls which he takes on with his friends. While Capable he is not capable of dealing with the skill of the Chozo of the Mawkins, Though he eventually resorts to his Personas to deal with the them when he sees Lizbeth's powers decide to emerge and he observes as Lizbeth uses them against the Skrulls leader
After this, Ren, Ryuji, Anna and Morgana approach Lizbeth and decide to help her with these powers that emerged during the fight using their personas respectively to help out.
This works out and he learns about Betty and Larke's intermediary connection with Spider Noir with their associates, he decides to track them down to see who they are. Though he learns from Tech they are kept underwraps for a reason. Ryuji is curious about the other group and decides to find a way back to see their process with the E.M.M.Is.
With the rest of the heroes, they continued their journey to Raven Beak's hideout and this comes to a head once they reach his base. Joining Morgana, Ren, Ann and Kate Bishop he takes on Gravik so Lizbeth can go after Raven Beak to prevent the Skrulls from helping Raven Beak. When the ship crashes, he and Ren go looking for Lizbeth but don't find but learn Ann got her back to Japan. They return to Japan to get back with the group and celebrate Lizbeth's 16th birthday. Pleased by Lizbeth's development, and citing her as a rebel like them, he welcomes her to the Phantom Theives. She decides to work as an unoffical member as they return back to their home.
Chapter 7: X Marks the Spot[]
Ryuji joins Ren, Luan and her group in getting the Time Stone respectfully. He and Ann both get ambushed by Stormfront and her allies as they decide to go after them to get to Ren who is the boyfriend of Eliza who rebelled on them.
Ryuji heads over the place with the others and manages to get the Time Stone, only to lose it due to Stormfront's machinations respectfully.
Ryuji, Ren and Ann return to the others and tell them what happened and he decides he will do what he can to make up for it.
Chapter 8: Earth X's Last Stand[]
Ryuji and Ann decide to stay with the others and spend their last year with Eliza and her friends. They spend their time with the others and are brought into the fold with the others as they take on Dark Arrow. He helps the others get to Morag to get to the power stone before them.
Ryuji deals with the Nazis who are after them and using what Elsa Schindler gave them in relics. They end up looking into the power stone and manage to find it.
With Ann, Morgana and Ren, Ryuji manages to see the effects of changing hearts with Elsa putting herself in certain harms way as they go after Dark Arrow after they go to get Felciity who was captured. He, Ren and Ann manage to help the others take down Dark Arrow's forces
Afterwards, they decide to help clean things up.
Epilogue[]
Ryuji and the other main characters learn of who were the president's contacts were and he is present for the note that Eliza gets from Scheinder in regards to them as they discuss matters, Ruji wonders when will Elsa appear again.

Ryuji helps Ren and Anna deal with the forces of Levy and Redneb, he is quick to save Morgana and discover what he is saying and he was the person who knows where Spider Noir went when he is asked as he accompanied their boss to the past on the case that she is working on with them.
Part 9[]
With his main posse, Ryuji discovers the truth about what N.Tropy and Paradox have been doing and how it leads back to the events that brought Lizbeth to the future and what it did to her friends. He convinces her and Ren to head to the past to see what they can undercover about what else they need to know about this timeline in the past regarding Tek Knight as he is part of the Original Vought. While he waits, he assists in derailing N.Tropy's plot to use a Time Eater and later learns of Ren's history in the past he has with Kate regarding old accquaintces of Lizbeth's.
Book 2: Interlude[]
Ryuji with the rest of The Neo Vought crew is able to join Cavendish and Dakota to return to the past to investigate the gut feeling with Cecil being up to. As a result, Ryuji find and meets Lizbeth's original team as well as Pinky and The Brain. He gets a clear connection with them and helps the heroes investigate what has been going on while following Ren on what he was up to regarding The Smoking Man and Vought. He later helps deal with the rest of the situation with N.TRopy's own henchman and assists Lizbeth in her own heroism.
When Lizbeth does bring Bender back, Ryuji and the Neo Vought International members other than Kate, Ren, Steven and Connie attempt to arrest Bender for Cecil. However The V Crusaders return to them to tell them, of Cecil's death and while they were intend to arrest Bender, Cecil decided to do it only to discuss envidence of some innocence Bender has on this only for himself to get killed. Ryuji and the rest of Neo Vought begin to plan how to figure out who and what killed Cecil.
Book 3: Culmination[]
Ryuji joins the rest of Neo Vought and M.O.D.A.B in prusuing what Deathstroke's agenda of trying to insure of him and his assocaites's safety as their allies are higher ups were supporters of him and to insure the safety of their timeline as N.Tropy is threatening it.
Book 4: Falling Climax[]
Ryuji and the rest of Neo Vought are able to help Lizbeth and her friends defeat N.Tropy and his associates so they can all survive from his wrath and deal with his fall out. He then helps Neo Vought and Lizbeth get Dib and friends accommodated in their new homes.
