Rowena is a villainess appearing in Supernatural. She is the main antagonist in season 10, a minor antagonist of season 11 and a anti-hero of season 12. She is Crowley's mother and a powerful witch.
Chang's Guide To The Galaxy[]
Rowena is a member of Emperor Belos's forces, basically filling in as Lilith's replacement. She is attempting to take over hell from Crowley and bring down Team Free Will, unaware of Crowley having stepped down from the king of hell and gave it to another demon family.
Prologue[]
Rowena is brought in by Belos to bring another witch to assist with his and Mina's plans. Rowena goes after Team Free Will with the rest of the crew and engages against Crowley her son, and this leads eventually into her fleeing with the others as Cricket and Crowley use the latter's hell hound to chase them off.
Chapter 1[]
Mason, Hettie Cutburn, Adrian Graye Vernworth, Osran, Terra Snapdragon, Vitimir are joined by The Sorcereess, Rowena, Mina, Kikmora, Carmilla who are here on Belos and Mina's behalf to kill Sid.
Marcy Wu and Luz both see how overkill that everyone is after Sid but Hunter is determined to protect the kid. When questioned by Amity and her family, Hunter addresses Sid means something to Luz and Luz makes him feel like family. Sid, Luz, Marcy Wu, Willow, Gus, Hunter, Eldrric, Emira and Alador all proceed to engage with all the forces and while everyone is doing their darnest to put a good fight and do score a lot of hits in.
It proves not to be enough with All the numbers in their favor with Kikmora's dragons and the spells all the villains know well due to expereince.
Rowena and Carmilla then discuss afterwards the idea to get a contact with another witch who is close to Loch Loud that wasn't Morag since Lincoln and Lydia killed her. Belos thinks back on that and questions if she can do the trick, Rowena is confident that she will be at least efficent but they will have to get an aquiantce that was sealed away.
Chapter 2[]
Odalila, Kimora, Carmilla and Rowena arrive with Mrs.Grungle who rules over the Haunted Island and get her help and Respac's help with their plans.
Rowena, Carmilla, Kikmora and Odalia were busy capturing the residents of the Island and putting them away to keep them doing anything. A Ghost looking like Anne appears to them and Belos instructs them that The Chairman had her come, with the Ghost Council saying she's the best at the job.
Carmilla, Kikmora, Odalia and Rowena discuss the other part of the island, Belos states that his little friend will be doing the leg work and that upon further analysis, they have found enough potential target.
Rowena, Odalia, Kikmora and Carmilla head off on Belos's request as The Chairman communicates with physical signs to have Jinx help Respac who sends the crew all tumbling to keep the island haunted and under control.
Belos and the witches look at their work, Belos realizes that the 3 kids havn't been accounted for. Rowena, Miss Grungle, Respac, Jinx, The Chairman, Odalia, Kikmora and Carmilla all inquire they will do their job.
Jinx offers to kill the three herself, Belos states that he needs them alive for the moment. Belos decides the witches to pursue the kids and keep eyes on Jauna. Odalia and Kikmora are not happy with the assignment. Carmilla is more willing to follow with this mission and adresses them that it's what the Emperor wants. Belos condenses the two that at least Carmilla knows loyalty and Rowena will make sure that it also works.
Odalia, Kimora, Carmilla and Rowena show up and decide to trap the three inside a room of glass by closing the wall and attempts to crush them alive. Thankfully Lincoln found a chute to allow them to escape.
The Witches continue to follow them in turn.
The Chairman and The Witches wait as Grime and Crowley are approaching the house ready to rumble. Crowley and Grime enter the house and with Odalia, Kikmora, Rowena, Mrs.Grungle and The Chairman are here waiting. The 2 fight off the witches as The Chairman decides to purse a matter with the ghosts to go after Ford and Larke.
Kimora and Mrs.Grungle both are taken out with Odalia eventually coming using the abominations and trapping Grime. Crowley does a similar thing to Rowena but decides not to pull the trigger because she's still his mother. This is when the others shows up and save Grime and they take the Mrs.Grungle's Wand and reverse the spell.
Mrs.Grungle is surrounded by all of them and that all of them lay the hurt on Mrs.Grungle with Ford, Anne and Sasha helping Grime get away from Odalia and the 4 prepare to bringher in. Odalia decides to cut her losses and leave. Kikmora, Mrs.Grungle and Rowena leave with her realizing they're done for
Chapter 3[]
Rowena and Erik Alberg see Marcy and co heading to Brighton and decide to follow suit. Rownea comes along to suit The Emperor's plan as well to distract Erik from getting too close to figuring out Belos's True Operation. Alongside Alberg, She is brought to Brighton by Vecna who has his own prize in mind against Hunter and Amity
Co-perating with Jinx, Respac and The Chairman, Rowena lets the ghosts run loose in Brighton in order to reclaim it as a miserable berg like it was before Molly Mcgee came to down. She also spefically attacks Gus, Eda and Lillith as they're the only witches not being targeted by Vecna's curse and despite her obvious disadvantage manages to hold her own with spells and magic to keep them distracted. She is eventually bested by Gus using his illusionary magic and Eda basically going harpee on her without being restrained by the others.
Rowena then is taken aside by The Blot, who has been keeping eyes on The Magic Crew and has her return to Belos for a further mission.
Chapter 4[]
Crowley is quick to notice Rowena, Phantom Blot and Jack Horner and asks if Ford and Grime are coming
Grime, Deathstroke and Crowley deal with Rowena and The Coven respectfully which mean they're out numbered though neither of them are willing to give up, as Rowena's magic is putting them on the ropes, though the hexes don't work on Crowley. Deathstroke and Grime engage against the Coven Heads and are put on the defensive, though Deathstroke does use some his own tricks to keep the edge on Coven Members, he questions where the other 3 coven heads are like Mike said
Ford, Grime, Deathstroke and Mike continue to do what they can against Blot, Rowena and Jack Horner and Belos's Coven.
Ford and Crowley both do their darnest to engage with Rowena and Horner when Eda and Lillith come in and help the two. Ford asks how they found them, Eda states that Kamela had Deathstroke get them too and they were uninterested in Hogwarts. Lillith and Crowley both decide to keep taking on Rowena and Horner, Rowena uses her tricks to go after Lillith and Lillith struggles with Rowena as Jack Horner uses a Phoenix to try and burn Ford and Eda Alive.
Rowena and Jack Horner manage to escape as well from Crowley, Deathstroke and Mike and they get Eda, Ford and Lillith. They question the words Belos has said and the others.
Chapter 5[]
Rownea heads to Hawkins with The Blot and the others on Belos's orders and she finds herself in the radar of Anne, Sasha and the others left in the vechile and she decides to go after her son, Ronnie Anne and Cricket.
She traps Crowley with a demon Hex while they are purusing Blot and fights Cricket Green and Ronnie Anne with her powers. Rowena gives the two a hard time, until Crowley manages to reveal a weakness she has with iron which they use to lure her off as Cricket frees him.
She is finally informed by Belos that Crowley isn't the ruler of hell it's the Lucifors that have conquered Hell as he found out that Tom is involved with Marcy and Bender, So it turn she decides to go after Tom.
Chapter 6[]
Rowena follows suit with Bianca and Troy as she serves as back up to deal with Larke and her firends. Upon encountering them, She first deals with Crowley as the other do their own jobs respectfully to get Troy in the demon hex, and Bianca distracted. This switches to Lincoln as Crowley goes to help Larke, while she is dealing with a kid she does show restrain as Lincoln does use his own understanding of magic and analysis to stop her.
However, she is then killed by Belos and The Chairman as a test to the draining spell
