General Roman Barkov is the main antagonist of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Barkov is a General of the Russian Army and the leader of a rogue military unit. He is described as "a rogue General who has the correct intentions, but has gone off the rails in his efforts to get what he wants".
After his death and the destruction of his gas factory, he was disowned by Russia. However, he actions were enough to get the attention of Viktor Zakhaev.
