Private First Class Robert Zussman is the deuteragonist of Call of Duty: WWII.
He is portrayed by Jonathan Tucker.
Zussman is the best friend of Ronald "Red" Daniels and a member of the 1st Infantry Division, under the command of Joseph Turner and later William Pierson. All throughout the campaign, Zussman had always fought alongside his best friend, also providing him first aid kits when needed.
He was captured sometime after Christmas 1944 by the Nazis and was transported to a Labor Camp ran by a Nazi Commandant known as Metz. While there, he was badly beaten and malnourished. He was rescued by Daniels and the rest of his squad after Daniels shot Metz in the head, leaving Zussman confused as to what was going on. After Davis wished his men farewell, Daniels went to see Zussman, who was recovering in a hospital. Zussman thanks Daniels for saving his life and parted ways with him, promising to see him again.
He was born in Germany in 1923 and is of Jewish heritage. Therefore, he was also bilingual in speaking German.
