Commander Richard Sampson is a character from Digimon Data Squad.
He is voiced by Jamieson Price, who also voiced Oikawa.
Sampson is the superior officer of Marcus Damon, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda, Miki Kurosaki, and Megumi Shirakawa, responsible for giving them their orders and supervising all operations from DATS HQ.
Sampson was once a private investigator before the founding of DATS.
