Ribbon is one of Kirby's friends as well as his presumed love interest in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Ribbon is a fairy from the planet Ripple Star who journeys with Kirby to defeat the invading Dark Matter and gather the pieces of the Crystal that Dark Matter broke apart. Ribbon is one of the only characters in the games to have any sort of indicated romantic interactions with Kirby (ChuChu had an official interest in the manga only, although it seemed implied in the games).
The Ultimate Story[]
Around the time that Lisa and her friends were beginning their journey, Ribbon was taking care of restoring the magic crystal that she had been obligated to restore. After she, Kirby and the rest of her travelling companions celebrated the defeat of the evil Dark Matter, Lisa and her group appeared before her to retrieve her magic crystal. Ly then appeared before her, informing her that the crystal is needed to seek out and collect 10 Pokemon stones, to which they were able to obtain 2 of them. Ribbon, being the one who's in charge of looking after the crystal, decided to leave with the group. However, before they had to leave to find the other Pokemon stones, they needed to have Misty complete her one year training regiment.
