Raymond Holt is the stoic, pragmatic and serious captain of the Nine-Nine and a major character in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. After their last captain was extremely laid-back and allowed them to be on their own, he often clashes with Detective Jake Peralta (the main character of the series) and his childish, laid-back personality but the two do work well together at times.

Holt is brought in by Frank Underwood to seize and destroy Midas's assets and allies. Holt assists in arresting the Criminals Midas has associated with him and then decides that to get a better idea of what the Cartel does. It will be in their best interest to capture Anton Chreigtuh, the head assassin of Midas
Episode 21[]
Through AAARRRGGHH!! does kill him accidentaly, Holt says that they have more envidence to shut him down thanks to Juni and Carmen as they seize his assets.
Episode 24[]
He is later called by Toby and Pyrrha in an attempt to recurit Lincoln Loud and Lydia Lopez to the Streaming Resistance. He agrees with Hopper and Peacemaker on this matter due to their age and lack of experience. However like any Captain he does show a reasonableness upon hearing Jake and Amy's perspective and decides to allow experience and time decide if the kids are worthy.
War of The Streams[]
Captain Holt gets his Nine-Nine group to get involved with the work of the Cartel respectfully to bring them down respectfully. Holt is initally hessistant to work with Slade's Empire or Bender's friends, but he decides to help out respectfully with the others due to them opposing the Cartel. He also looks into the Streaming Resistance and helps deal with Underwood and his Cabinet. Being focused on the job, he keeps his unit and the others focuses and Holt manages to uprhend the Cabinet with them. Though Frank was brought in by Slade's empiure to deal with directly. Upon hearing what Hobie says respectfully, he decides to seek the kids Hobie believes can help out.
Streamverse[]
Prologue[]
Holt on Peacemaker's as well as Erica and Nate's behalf decide to have Amy and Jake work on something to insure the kids safety and hopefully co-opeartion. Hearing about Spot and Von Gale, he and Hopper decide to lead their own investigation with Peacemaker.
Chapter 1[]
Holt and Hopper manage to figure exactly happened, and they go after Lincoln and Lydia while spotting them trying to talk to them. Though they isn't succesful though which has him call in Jake and Amy to help out respectively.
After they do so do, Holt and Hopper get the car and drive the two, Amy and Jake to the station for some answers. Holt and Hopper basically call the members of the Streaming Resistance and tell them that they managed to get the kids to come in peacefully and ask the crew to join them at the police station.
Part 2[]
Captain Holt waits for his 2 officers Jake and Amy to come in wondering where they even are. They come in with refreshments and they enter to talk to Lydia and Lincoln. Holt notes how quiet they seem to be to Hopper
The two join Amy and Jake and Holt explains that they see Lincoln and Lydia that he sees them as choices to help out with what has gone on in The Steamverse and the current events. After Hopper explains the role they had in defeating Creel. Holt admires the humbleness of the two of them and explains that Jake sees something in the two and he decided to listen about this.Holt shows both of them the files on what has happened and sees them do their work. He knows why Jake sees something in them.
Captain Holt decides to call it in and call Peacemaker, Econmos and the others and inform them of the black out after Amy hands him a phone. He tells them of what happened respectfully and what led up to the events respectfully. Once White Dragon and Spot arrive, he without question steps in to deal with White Dragon while Lydia attempts to deal with Spot. Once Peacemaker arrives, Holt turns his attention to The Spot and helps his team and Peacemaker work to stop Spot.
Holt manages to trick Spot into takng the infomation really needed from the Streamverse to his superiors. Holt meets back up and discusses the situation provided and shows the Streaming Resistance Lincoln and Lydia who they meet up and the two decide to help out with their case. Holt and Hopper stay behind so they can start making their own heave away as they do their own investigations
Part 3[]
Holt, Hopper and Ecnomonos tell the six the info they learned after telling Peacmaker about Volo's plans and all that. As well as the lakes. Lincoln and Lydia acknowledge the deja vu they're dealing with it since they had to something similar with the Lake Trio last time but didn't have Dawn with them. Blinky is aware of the Lake Trio's importance and mentions the two must have had some connection to them. Lincoln validates it by saying Uxie chose him and Azelf chose Lydia, Mespriit chose Dawn but they have no idea where she is. Lydia tells Blinky, Cuphead and the others that Dawn was from Sinnoh and got them into Pokemon, she and May held the other starter of the region while they took two. Their thought pattern was that someone else should have the other starter and since Nate was here, they decided he gets the 3rd one here.
Chapter 2[]
He and Hopper have kept their eyes on Mulder and Scully respectively which they tell Amy, Jake, Peacemaker, Emila and Vilgante about. Holt also managed to find out from Steve as well as John where the next Spot based anomality occured and it turned out it was Nevermore the school which Wednesday attends.
Jake and Amy both decide to join him and Hopper on their case respectfully regarding what is outside the Streamverse. Holt asks if they have a way out of the Streamverse, which Amy did figure but it's a one way trip thanks to them investigating a way out which implies what happene to their universe through Spot gave a way out. That being said, Holt adresses that they cannot do this to get Lincoln or Lydia back when Spot and his cronies are defeated.
Part 2[]
Holt gets back with Amy, Jake, and Hopper to get the kids respectively and the others respectively. When asked where they were, Holt infroms the team that he and the others found some thing going on outside of The Streamverse which has ties to Spot in a chicken farm like prison where they went after the warden
He has Amy and Jake brief the others on this and has Hopper tell Lydia and Lincoln that they saw and met Mulder and Scully respectively who were investigating this. Using what clues they have gotten they decide to look into where their next stop is.
Part 3[]
Holt and his fellow allies all begin to look into the next anomality work that was caused by Spot and learn that it comes from their fellow allies Geroge, Harold and Erica's home respectively
He tells Lincoln and Lydia what he notes on the federal agents Mulder and Scully and how he felt on them respectively.
Holt arrives in the Captain Underpants Unvierse with his associates and lets George, Harold and Erica decide on what to do due to their knowledge. Holt deceides to honor his badge and joins his fellow police officers ,as well as Boss Baby and Peacemaker's crew to go after the robots being used by Melvin Borg and The Spot respectively and he attempts to arrest Von Gale who though escapes but they claim her weather machines respectively.
He and his fellow cops investigate how Von Gale managed to control theorizing she has a sense of magitek to her or her employers just managed to do that. He dimisses Jake's theories that have to do with fairies as super stiction
With The Others coming back. Holt, Amy and Jake notice how off Lincoln and Lydia feel and discuss what they learned at the Colation. The three state that while they did know the two were important regarding Creel, Holt didn't know their signifance overall to the multiverse over time. He considers potentially getting back up with Hopper, Amy and Jake leaving the others to pursue another case in Hawkins to go to Alaska which has been so far untouched by Spot.
He has his officers bundle up as they arrived in Alaska respectively.
Chapter 3[]
Holt manages to get a location to where they need to go to find their guy and sends his rookies to go find him. He however develops some supsicion respectfully as he notes some cops going after them and to his knowledge they don't look any cops he notices
Holt arrives to help Jake, Amy and Jessie Pinkman take care of Neil and Kandy who have come after Jessie and them on orders of their employer. Holt does his own investigation on the fake badges, and realizes Spot's partner was the one who hired him. They decide they need to go to get the resistance respectfully for help. Holt learns though that some of them went straight away to Trolberg. This raises his eye brow and he tells The Chief of this as he has the 3 of them head to find the group.
Part 2[]
Holt, Jake, Amy and Jessie Pinkman return back to the crew and they see the Cupheads return as well with him learning of what the Cupheads were doing. Holt asks about Lincoln, Lydia and the others and learns Professor Membrane had them sent to Trolberg. Holt asks why he did that and learns they were trying to help the former two's friends
He rolls his eyes knowing the two would do this, based on their history. The Chief then informs that the Castlevania verse needs help somewhere in the streamverse. Holt decides to help respectfully and to keep an eye on the kids while at it.
The heroes all go and help Trevor Belmont deal with Death who came back to serve N.Tropy's plans. After they assist in taking out of the villains and the cops arrest Neil and Kandy respectfully. Holt places Trevor Belmont to take act undercover with Enid and Steve respectfully for any info that might be needed.
Chapter 4[]
Holt is questioning the idea to get Doug Judy involved as a informant due to his criminal past, though he decides if Rave and Jake both think it will work. He'll see the results for himself. Holt and Membrane tell the others that they need to the heck out of dodge as The Hildaverse is collapsing in part to the blackhole finally catching up respectfully and has Mrs.Frizzle go to pick up the other heroes
Being briefed, he decides to listen to the cases and Holt does tell his younger colleagues about the Cold War and why what happened in Trolberg brought back such a realistic fear in them respectfully. Rave and Doug Judy inform him of what's happening in Peacemaker's universe and he learns Neil Kandy escaped. So he decides to go after Kandy directly and joins the others in doing so. He texts The Stranger Things Cast to let them know of what's going on but allows them to still take it easy.
Part 2[]
Holt joins the others and heads to try and find The Spot respectfully allowing warranties to enter the homes respectively and their attempts are unsuccessful though the gang does find The Spot and with White Dragon and General Kregg
Holt decides to bring in White Dragon respectfully and joins the cops and Peacemaker's crew in making sure he is brought down and fight respectfully.
He takes a bullet for Amy and Jake respectively as White Dragon tries to kill her and then Jake which has him fall down and he has Jessie drive him and the others to the hospital so they can do what they can to help the three respectfully.
Chapter 5[]
Richman is sent in to finish and kill Holt while his guard is down, and he is still recovering from his injury at White Dragon's hands. Amy and Jake arrive to stop this and Amy decides to protect him from B.P while Jake, and later Jim and Claire arrive to save and try to stop the tryantical dinosaur
Holt decides to get a final shot in on Richfield to get him off knowing he isn't going to make it. He does however make it clear before he dies of his injuries how proud he is of both Jake and Amy.
