Raven Beak is the overarching antagonist of the Metroid franchise.
He is the unseen overarching antagonist of Metroid and Metroid Fusion, the overarching antagonist of Metroid: Samus Returns, and the main antagonist of Metroid Dread. He is the commander of Mawkin Chozo tribe and the overseer of Planet ZDR, having reprogrammed the EMMIs into killing machines in order to lead bounty hunter Samus Aran to the planet.
He is later revealed to be Samus' adoptive father, being the one whose DNA was utilised to genetically modify her into the skilled warrior she is today. He is also the one who massacred the Thoha Chozo tribe, as well the reason why the Metroids were situated on Planet SR388.

Chapter 4: Dread The Unknown[]
Raven beak is the secondary and later on true antagonist of Chronicles of Zaragoza and the right hand man of The Lord Commander, he is contacted upon learning of the attack on Atomtic Betty, He arrives with his own colleagues and helps the Commander invade the earth
He takes on and brutalizes Lizbeth with ease using his superior skill, training and strength. Feeling insulted by such a low life human challenging him, he decides to kill her biologically and uses warfare of the biological kind and infects her with something he has been making in the works.
Alongside his Boss, he and Lord Commander hire PsyCrow to hunt for Moon Cake so they can use it for their own ends. Raven Beak observes the rest of the Mawkin Guard respectfully as Lord Commander tells them what's going on, he considers killing Moon Cake as he doesn't see why The Commander wants and start forming some counter measures of his own, including sparing the Betty Clones as they'll be better alive then killed off as they're still useful.
Raven Beak and his forces do their work in the city they live bringing down oppressiveness on the innocents so no one will be a hero as he reveals those who have attempted to openly oppose the Mawkin Guard, he killed. He also finds out the Tesseract isn't around either and like their insider man says, he deducts it's with the heroes. After seeing the other villains, Raven Beak analyzes Lizbeth and learns she has the Galactic Guardian DNA of Betty in her and Larke's strain of DNA that made who she is now. Raven Beak analyzes it and sees as a power worth controlling, he decides to keep the heroine alive as something will awaken in her eventually. Lord Commander tells him to ignore it as it's secondary to their goal
Raven Beak goes behind Lord Commander's back and frees the Clones of Betty to use to test Lizbeth's meddle and to try and force her true powers to awaken. Raven Beak then decides to upgrade The Betty Clones respectfully for their showdown turning them into teens like Betty. He also finds out where the heroes are and sends Psy-Crow, The Betty Clones, Edgar The Bug and Pre-Vizla. The latter two has a way to test Lizbeth.
Raven Beak goes to Japan and uses Shidou's influence to get in though warns him not to push it. He waits for Mozar and The Martians to do their work, and Then Raven Beak ambushs Cecil to get the Tesseract and sends the E.N.M.I.S to go after them as a weapon of his own to use on them.
Raven Beak has been revealed to have captured and imprisoned the rest of Neo-Vought in Frozen Carbonite and has them displayed as a way of pride. Upon being informed of the heroes's arrival, he pulls The Clone Bettys from their task as Mozar informs him and Lord Commander. The Martians and Fleet Commander inform him of what went done and what Lizbeth did respectfully, he decides it's time to put his theory to the test.
The Chozo Warrior sabotages many of the potential attempts the heroes make on his remaining allies, though this is just a cover for his plans. He kills Lord Commander after Cassie defeats him and The Final Space Crew using the remains of Mooncake to use for his own end. He ambushes the heroes after killing The Betty Clones and nearly kills all the heroes. He gloats Lizbeth isn't reaching her own power that he knows is her in part to Larke and Betty's Work and he reveals his own hand in killing Dib and all her friends in the past, hence why he took this notion. Her Superpowers do show themselves as Raven Beak decide to let her live as this was what he waited for and he with his E.N.M.I.S can wait.
It was also revealed that he was part of the Core War respectfully and was defeated by Anti Cosmo, Slade and Bender in the past.
Chapter 5: Return Of The Heroes/Raven Beak Strikes Again[]
Raven Beak has continued his work having acquired the services of Mastermind, Scroop, The Dominators and Eyeball Ruby to help him with his next phase. Through Psy-Crow, he has been monitioring the heroes this whole time waiting for an opporunity. He is aware Lizbeth has powers and is beginning to take shape of this plan. Working with Nefarious, he manages to make a time distorting device and uses it to get the heroes attention.
Seeing as it worked, Raven Beak and his men get started on "his" plan.
Raven Beak learns from Psy-Crow and The Fleet Commander that Ford and Team Free Will have went against his E.M.M.Is so he can't use them against Lizbeth. Raven Beak adjusts and decides to have the E.M.M.Is go after them and puts the Fleet Commander on them as he decides to make his own designs. He also seems pleased that Grativk allowed Lizbeth's destructive powers to emerge with Betty's DNA in her.
Working with The Dominators, he indoctrinates and puts the innocent people he has captured under his control intending to make them be who kills or otherwise hurt Neo Vought International. He finds some are strong willed and has Kro and The Deivants eat them respectfully. Raven Beak then gives the Martians permission to what they must as he sends Mastermind and Eyeball Ruby after the heroes as he works with Gratvik and Nefarious
Raven Beak ambushes Kro who discovered his true intention and manages to restrain him and his Deviants, when Kro tries to kill him. Raven Beak blackmails Kro with the death of his kind if he doesn't summit to his rule. He then has The Dominators and Martians capture this other group dealing with his test subjects.
After Nefarious completes his work on how to get Lizbeth's powers used for his own intents and purposes,, Raven Beak orders Gravitk to restrain Nefariosu and Raven Beak kills him after outliving his usefulness. Raven Beak then sends his allies to go after the heroes to see what else will happen with Lizbeth now that he is intending the fire power to be raised. He observes Ford and his crew and has The Dominators use them on Ford. When he sees Psy Crow betray him, he decides to have the bird defeathered.
Raven Beak unleashes The X Parasites with Mastermind and Scroop to use for further use. He knows that with these other guys get involved, he has to speed up Lizbeth's growth in her powers to insure this.
With Kro and Scroop, he orders Psy Crow's death at their hands and sends them off. They do after the 5th E.M.M.I encounter which doesn't go as planned. Raven Beak decides on a plan to clone Captain Carter and Steve and have the Dominators control them to use against Lizbeth. This plan does work in the growth of her character like he planned.
After hearing of the 6th E.M.M.I fall, Raven Beak decides to fully awaken the powers and to pull the 7th one away from the others and use it to attack Lizbeth with Mastermind and Eyeball Ruby. Having witnessed her "Binary Form, a.la Captai Marvel" He decides it's time to take action now that it has worked.
He sends off his troops, knowing they won't live apart from Gravik knowing they will come the most in handy. Raven Beak then sees Lizbeth confront him alone and he decides to finally engage her in this new state of mind. Raven Beak tries to get her to surrender to him and use the power for his own ends. They have a fight once more and now that Lizbeth's powers have awoken, she fares a lot better damaging Raven Beak, crippling his ability to fly and getting the upperhand on his weapons. Raven Beak stops Lizbeth from using her abiltiies to drain his energy, Raven Beak stops her and tells her that she overresimtaed herself and that her power and DNA is no longer necessary. As he can clone her in this state and have a powerful army that will make him unstoppable. Raven Beak goes on saying that if even she did, Raven Beak has besmirched her name and marked her as dead to insure she doesn't get her life back.
Lizbeth then uses her absorbing powers and absorbs Raven Beak's energy with her powers and this ends up the ship as well on the power she drains. Raven Beak is badly hurt in this fight and struggles to attack her, then one of the Parasties he released claims him and this allows Lizbeth to finish him with her fully awoken powers though this causes her to faint in collapse.
