Rain Mikamura is the leading female character in G Gundam. She has been with Domon Kasshu since the very beginning.
Having been by his side, working as his mechanic as well as his ally and supporter, the 2 of them have been together through very much the entire journey. She is also a trained doctor, having helped to tend to Domon whenever he is wounded.
Rain has also stepped into the cockpit of Domon's gundams and had taken control when need be.
Both she and Domon have shown to care each other greatly and, overtime, they developed feelings for each other.

- Fanfictiondreamer pulled inspiration for Misty's US2 outfit from Rain's own clothes, given that their dresses and jackets share the same color schemes. It seems almost like a funny coincidence considering that Rain also wears a headband, Fanfictiondreamer's favorite head accessory and one that she chose for her US version of Misty.
