Pterano is one of the main antagonists (later former antagonist) in The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire. He is the brother of Petrie's mother and the uncle of Petrie and his siblings.

Pternano refuse to hear of Dormammu's orders. Scar order him to get bak to his work. He stood gaurd with Valvatorez, Black Knight, and Selvaria Bles. When Bender's diguise was removed, Heloise bonked him on the head.
He escape with Dormammu Later Pterano suggest that the load needs to be lightend. Scar rip his wings. Pterano slips over the edge and is clinging to the ledge by his hands. Scar looks disdainfully down, and then suddenly latches onto Pterano's forehands with claws extended. Pterano screams, primarily from the sudden pain of Scar's claws, Scar pronounced him Fired. Scar lets go Pterano fell in the firery grave forever.
Joining Nekron[]
Pterano eventually escaped the firery pit that Scar had left him in, and decided to make new allies. Having heard rumours of the mighty Nekron and his alliance, Pterano sought him out and offered his services as an advisor. Nekron took him on, though Peterano become fourth in command as revenge for his abuse.
