Professor Augustine Sycamore (Japanese: プラターヌ博士 Dr. Platane) is a Pokémon Professor from the Kalos region.

Prof. Sycamore has been doing some research on the mysterious Fairy-type Pokémon that dwell in Kalos, and has urged Prof. Oak to assist him, as well as a trio of Trainers along with Clemont and Bonnie. He also came to the conclusion of Mega Evolution, as well as the Dark Wielders utilizing a similar process to wreak havoc and drive the Fairy-types away. It was believed they hone some Light energy within them, and were created by the Mystics.
