Prime Evil is the main villain of Filmation's Ghostbusters. Is the self appointed leader of ghosts. Prime Evil resides at Hauntquarters somewhere in the Fifth Dimension/Ghost Limbo.
He drove Jake Kong family to close a mine they had (from episode "The Headless Horseman Caper"). Prime Evil's first encounter with the Ghostbusters happened as the Senior Ghostbusters were training the next Ghostbusters in the mine. Prime Evil ended up trapped in the mines locked vault 100 years along with Brat-a-rat. However, he got out when he lied to Belfry and told him he was a bat.

Prime Evil is one of the ghosts Freakshow recruits to his army and sends him to go after the Ghost Busters of both generations
As a major ally of Freakshow, he is the one of the main routes of trouble for the main group, he antagonizes Lincoln, Lydia and their friends and tries to kill Phoebe and Trevor on the fact they're Spenglers. Unlike other ghosts, he is also out to get rid of Scratch for diposing of the former chairman
Through him, he has Molly possessed by Undergrowth to spite Scratch and leaks the info of the ghost zone to the other allies so they attack the other teams
He works with Freakshow to start the Diasteroid respectively and use it to crash into Big City
Prime Evil is eventually defeated by the Ghost Busters.
