Preston is the sole main antagonist of the 1995 Wallace and Gromit short film, A Close Shave.
Preston was a robotic dog created by a scientist to help with his wool factory. After the scientist died, Preston took care of his daughter, Wendolene, who now owns the wool factory and shop.

Preston joins the Court of British Underworld led by Dorian Gray to take revenge on Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. However, Preston got back into his old shape thank to Jack the Ripper. Preston is also the one who provides the league with the factory. Preston uses Wendolene's wool shop to serve as a lair for the villains as no one would ever suspect someone using a it as a lair.
