Pineco is a Pokemon that looks like a pine cone. They can be found within trees. Despite its appearance, it is actually a pure Bug type Pokemon. It sticks tree bark to itself with its saliva, making itself thicker and larger. Elderly Pineco are ridiculously huge.
Motionless, Pineco hangs from trees, waiting for its bug Pokémon prey to come to it. Its favorite in Alola is Cutiefly.
It can evolve into a Bug/Steel type Pokemon called Forretress.
