Phione

Phione (Japanese: フィオネ Phione) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV.

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it can only be obtained by breeding Manaphy or another Phione with Ditto.

Phione drifts in warm seas. It always returns to where it was born, no matter how far it may have drifted. When the water warms, these Pokemon inflate the flotation sac on their heads and drift languidly on the sea in packs.

It is a member of the sea guardians with Manaphy.

Phione's status as a Mythical Pokémon is often disputed, with contradiction occurring even between official sources.
